プノンペンでは、ホテルに泊まるより、たくさんあるブティックホテルに泊まった方が、かえってセキュリティもちゃんとしてるし（フロントを通らないと部屋に行けないし、フロントマンは部屋数が少ないので、チェックイン時に顔を覚えている）部屋も広く快適で安い。周りの治安も特に怖さは感じない（23時には閉店してる店ばっかりだが）ただ、向かいがナイトマーケットなので、うるさい。周りも商店なのか？人がごったがえしてて、朝から人通りも激しく声もうるさい。ベランダ付きの部屋でなくてもいいかな、と思った。

We booked into the River 108 Boutique Hotel for one before our planned bus ride to Siem Reap. I chose the location because it was close to the bus companies, night market and river front. The primary reason for my distaste with this establishment is that after we had decided to spend a second night with them, they decided to see if they could get an extra $20 out of us to line their pockets. I simply said "Not a chance" and that we would be walking down the street and booking into another hotel. Seems they saw it my way and decided to honor the price published on hotels.com. We stayed at this hotel on March 9th and 10th. The young man at the desk was professional and helpful and I got the sense he was being directed by an older man also working that night. After I refused to pay the additional $20, the young man went to talk with this older fellow who apparently decided he better back off. My suggestion? Shop around. There are plenty of hotels on the riverfront. River 108 is decent but having travelled in this part of the world more than once, the accomodations are not reflective of the higher price. もっと読む

Very nice hotel. Very helpful staff. Location just off the night market and the main boulevard. Close to boat to HCMC and walking distance to the palace. Highly recommended.

I loved this hotel and have no complaints at all about the hotel itself. My only minor quibble is that we paid extra for a 'river view' room but in fact the balconies don't quite overlook the river. The hotel is about the 3rd building along a side street just off the main river street. Our balcony was on the street side of the building so we had a clear […] view of the river, but only if we walked right up to the front of the (quite large) balcony and looked to the right. If we reclined in the balcony chairs our view was of a large tree. 其实算不上酒店，更像是GH，房间有特色，内部环境有当地民族特色。预订的时候要的是阳台河景房，但入住时告知没有了，给了不靠街不能开窗的房间，幸好换了房间，迎新晚上，外面的广场有夜市和迎新晚会，一直闹腾到凌晨，基本就不用睡了。交通非常方便，附近有老市场，还有酒吧餐厅，出门对面就是洞萨里河。

by the appearance of the hotel entrance or the almost 'inexisting' lobby Inside, the hotel is really 'boutique' with very nice furniture in the stairways and on floors, the rooms are very spacious and very conveniently furbished, bathrooms are almost new and everything is found in good working order, nice 32'' LCD TV with 60+ local and international […] programs i.e. easy to stay informed; Free WIFI is working well and is pretty fast The rooms are clean and the establishment is well maintained. Breakfast = 2 set menus at the 'Fish'-restaurant (Asian or American), excellent quality served with wonderful smiles No elevator (river view rooms at 2nd floor) but friendly staff takes care of luggage; could be an issue for people with walking difficulties PS. Yes, there is still the night market at weekends (Fr - Su) and the phone card sales guys try to beat each other by the volume of their speakers. Good location (near Mekong River & night market), but noisy at night. Average room size & decoration, though the public area is much larger and better decorated. Breakfast's portion is not sufficient for a male adult. Hospital staff. Early check-in possible. It would be good value if it charges 20%-30% less.
