Well located, unpretentious, convenient, well run, extremely clean, quiet, great bedding, nice fitness room... we will definitely stay here again when in beautiful-Beaufort!

My husband and I did not expect how perfect everything was at the City Loft hotel, and with the town of Beaufort SC. We really loved it. It was very clean, ( I need that!) , beautifully decorated, and wonderfully comfortable. It is a small hotel, no lobby, no coffee maker in the room but a nice coffee shop a few steps away. This hotel was so close to everything and in Beaufort, you want to walk most of the time through town. Great accomodations, very clean, hospitable staff. We definitely will go back and soon!

WOW!. I cannot get over how great this hotel was. Let me begin. First, I checked in late and was greeted in the parking lot by hotel staff who directed me to the office and offered to help with my luggage. The check-in process was very quick. Second, the hotel staff escorted me to my room and unlocked the door and told me of the amenities the room offered […] (including turned down bedding and complimentary cookie on the pillow). I received a certificate for free coffee at the gormet coffee house attached to the hotel. Next, the room was out of this world. Contemporary design and comfort. The bathroom also had a television set. The hotel is located in Historic Beaufort and so it was very quiet after dark. The next day, the front desk was very helpful in directing me on my days journey. I couldn't have asked for more. I have stayed at more expensive hotels with a whole lot less service. もっと読む

I enjoyed a very relaxing 4 days at the City Loft. Very comfortable room, great service... the fitness center was small but well equipped. 2 GREAT restaurants half a block away (Wren & Breakwater)and the riverfront trail, shops and marina just a few steps further. The week end was a Christmas Festival at the waterfront... open shops at night with wine/cheese […] and social gatherings up and down the street. Saturday was the lighted boat parade and sunday afternoon was the street parade which I enjoyed from the balcony of the hotel. Beaufort has a wonderful historic charm and City Loft is right in the middle of it. I look forward to returning. もっと読む

Staff was very pleasant & helpful---Room was clean & comfortable. Very nice stay!!!

GREAT place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The bath is to die for. There is a gym that is actually used...not like some token hotel gym. The energy of the place is great. Great attention to detail in the decor.

This hotel used to be a TraveLodge or similar, and the exterior has a retro feel to it. The rooms are a very pleasant surprise: TempurPedic mattress on a platform, built-in desk/dresser, and a fabulous bathroom featuring a frameless shower stall and separate 5-foot soaking tub.
