The Shelton Inn met our expectations for an inexpensive hotel. The rooms were clean and the owner was very friendly. It was not the most glamorous place, but quite acceptable.

The motel room was fine - nothing fancy, but a clean andi comfortable bed, wifi, ok TV. The owner, who was at the desk, was very warm and welcoming, and Blondie's restaurant, attached to the motel (which the motel ower recommended) was a true find: the best kind of all-American diner where I had a great dinner and great breakfast.

Staff extremely helpful when I mentioned that I had broken my ankle en route and accessable room was already booked, they found a shower stool. They accomodated my needs graciously. Next two hotels did not meet my requests!

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Clean and comfortable accommendations.

VERY NOISY on weekends but not hotels fault. Very old hotel but clean and well kept up in the paint department.

The people who operate this place are really nice! No complaints.

Compared with other motels of the same price, this one could use improvement, such as new carpet, better room decor (some warm colors and pictures) and lighting, better water drainage in the tub, faster flushing toilet, new towels ( I brought my own), and conditioner as well as shampoo. Typical 2 story motel. Front desk extremely polite and knowledgeable of the area. Beds are on the "hard" side. The only real down side was, I could hear the "neighbor's" showers water running in the morning. Overall, better than it needed to be. If I'm on that side of "the sound" again, I'd have no worries about staying with them again.

This motel is horrible! Desperately needs updating, cleaning, etc! Air conditioner barely worked and made such a horrible noise I unplugged it at night. Few outlets, so to charge my phone, had to unplug lamp. Sheets were changed each day, but other bedding was yucky! Towels weren't as good as those I use to dry my car.
