フロント横にカフェがあって、若者が満杯。賑わっていました。

ドイツのビジネスホテルでとても快適なホテルでした。 しかし、再開発地域のため近場にはなにもなく、ちょっともの足りない感じがしました。しかしそれ以外はなにも不自由なく、また値段も非常に安いため、とても便利です。

週末の3泊で利用しました。駅から直ぐなので夜の到着でも安心だと思います。今回は、5ユーロの朝食を事前に申し込むと部屋でもに無線LAN接続可能な券をサービスしてくれました。ただし、実際には、電波が弱く、あまり使い物になりませんでした。部屋は新しく綺麗ですが、床がもう少し掃除されていれば、文句なしでした。なお、駅構内は、飲食店も多いので、昼食、夕食にも困りませんでした。観光ツアーバスもホテルの前からの出発の物もあり、便利だと思います。なお、若いグループの団体で、常に混みあっている雰囲気でした。そこで、騒がしくないゆったりとした旅を希望される方は、満足されないかもしれません。若い人向けかもしれません。

2010年9月に滞在しました。 ビジネスホテルとしての条件は満たしてます。中央駅の真横、部屋も清潔、ロビーでの無線LANは無料。 ただし、時期によっては学生の修学旅行などと重なり、非常にうるさくて不快な思いをするかも知れません。 なので新婚旅行や家族旅行などには向いてないかも。

バスタブや冷蔵庫、ポットが無いのは、このクラスでは仕方ないか。フロントでは無料のWi-fiが利用できるが、部屋では使えないのはマイナス評価。フロント前でＰＣを開く人が多かったのはそのためか。 ベルリン中央駅から徒歩１～２分と便利な位置にあるのはプラス。早朝５じでもフロント前は賑やかだった。少々騒がしいとも言える。

it is a good choice it you want a quiet and clean hotel to stay . nice decoration in all rooms. 10 mins walk to the centre. i dont like the lady staff she is not nice enough to different customer. over all . it is a nice hotel.

As three people sharing a room we were perfectly comfortable if a little crowded. There was a building site outside our window so pretty noisy in the morning if the window was open but otherwise it was fine. My friend told me she found hair in the shower when she arrived though. This hotel is NO frills, but it is very clean, well maintained and friendly. We had a family of four which is hard to find rooms for - this hotel offers rooms with two bunk beds, which worked great. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my teenage son and daughter. Our room was quite small but was very clean, very comfortable with good shower, good sound proofing and outside blind. The staff were always polite and helpful. The location right next to the main station was brilliant. The main station also offers various pizza, wurst, bakery outlets […] and with the Berlin Card you get a 25% discount. If you don't have a Berlin card you still get 15% off as a hotel resident. The hotel is nice and well located. Because of the proximity to the Berln train station, it is possible to go to every where around Berlin. Another consideration is the hotel is near by the Chancelor and Bundestag (5 minutes walk) and Branderg Gate. The staffs are so kind and everytime we need, they helped us.

Arriving late, the hotel is located right next to the "Hauptbahnhof" and thus very easy to access. Apart from that a nice friendly - no nonsense - hotel with all the necessary amenities. Walking distance to Brandenburger Tor...

Meininger Hotel is very convenient to Berlin's Hauptbahnhof. Two years ago I had a nice single room and admired the modern, clean, spare look and the "no frills" attitude that prevailed at every turn. I returned hoping to have a similar experience. This time I was offered a room that resembled a jail cell in size--it was barely wider than the doorway […] at its widest. Except for 3 hangers, there was no place to hang my clothing. 4 small shelves right next to the door had to serve as the space to lay out my clothing. I had to push my suitcase under the narrow single bed in order to be able to pass to the window and a small ledge (both about 2 ft wide) that passed for a desk. Clearly, room 503--a wedge about 10 ft long and 4 ft wide at the entrance that tapered off to a 2 feet outside wall with a window-- is uninhabitable and this space should have been added to one of the adjacent rooms. Bathroom lacked any usable ledge to place my toiletries, and a customary glass for toothbrushes wasn't provided either. My room wasn't made up until late afternoon, and that only upon request at the reception. The hotel is full of high-school aged kids for whom such conditions might be acceptable. For me, however, this was my last visit at the Meininger. With other hotels nearby and only marginally more expensive, I'll opt for more civilised conditions. もっと読む

Friendly staff, room comfortable and quiet. Location close to main sites, not too far to walk. Would recommend to others and would stay there again.

Very convenient location almost attached to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof within sight of the Reichstag. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the room comfortable. Others are bothered by the sound of the announcements from the rail station but it was more pleasant and less loud than average city noises of traffic, happy passersby and garbage […] trucks. The hotel is located just steps away from Berlins Haupt Bahnhof-main station. You have all Berlin long distance trains, subways and buses out the door! The hotel is right next to the Hauptbahnhof, main train station. All public transportation is within a short walking distance. Train, S Bahn, subway, busses, taxis. Hotel was very clean, staff was helpful and location ...within blocks of main train station so very convenient for travel through the rest of the Country and Europe. Pleasant surprise.

The Meininger at the Haupbahnhof is a mixture of a hotel and hostel - we had a hotel style room which was fairly small but nicely, modernly, decorated, with its own bathroom which was good. There's free wifi in the lobby along with a small bar and the option of breakfast (although we took advantage of the large number of places at the station). This is a new, clean inexpensive hotel. students, but I had a private room that was quite, comfortable and very convenient. Nothing fancy, but easy. Great views from the roof ! GREAT for the price.

Pros: Very close to Berlin Hbf; walking distance to few attractions - Branderberg Tor, Holocaust memorial. Cons: Extremely small rooms. Absolutely no space to walk or even keep suitcases, may prove to be too difficult for families. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Next door to Berlin Hauptbahnhof making it great for traveling by rail. Can't wait to stay there again.

We took the train from Poland into Berlin Hbf main train station, walked 100 yards, and checked into our hotel. We purchased 1-day access to the S-bahn and the U-bahn (and even rented bikes from the hotel to explore the Tiergarten and other sites). This hotel is in wonderful location for travellers, enough confort and the best rate if you are in short trip with friends. Not good for Romantic stay.

We stayed at the Meininger because it was so close to the main train station, the rooms were very small but clean and basic, nothing wrong there. The problem was the noise! Never heard any from the train station, but we did from the other guests CONSTANTLY. The room doors all closed with a wall shaking slam, and any hallway noise seemed amplified. A […] large group checked in that night, and we weren't able to sleep from that point on due to the constant door slamming and talking. They weren't yelling at all, but just the total lack of soundproofing made every word audible. The second night they were gone, but even other guests walking by speaking presumably quietly was very disturbing in the volume. Conviently located near the main train station. Simple clean rooms. The only real negative I can think of is that it was quite busy when we stayed and there are only 2 lifts for the 300 rooms which means you can either wait quite a while or take the stairs!

Great place to stay only 8 minute walk from the Brandenburg gate and the hotel is new. The staff are great, will stay there again.

Travelling with kids during winter is not easy. The hotel location worked perfectly for us, Very handy as to location. My family and I were flying from Glasgow to Berlin, then by train from Berlin Hbnf to Warsaw, the Hotel is so close to the train station, at walking distance, no need to spend money for taxis, Clean, cheap room though very small, But […] size didnt affect us at all as we were just passing through Berlin. Location right next to the station was brilliant, clean and simple hotel, great value. Is perfect for casual traveller/backpacker looking for a cheap simple good night sleep.

This hotel is a good choice amongst budget stays in Berlin. It is 1 minute walking distance from central railway station. If you are new to Berlin and you are in Berlin for quick business trip - this is good option. You get internet and you get connectivity to the city & airport through public transport.

Stayed here two nights in different rooms. First was quite small, the second a bit bigger. Both were for the same price. On Oct. 19, 2010, 2:15 in the morning there was an electrical malfunction which set off the alarm system and we were all told to evacuate the hotel, and were all in pajamas, it was freezing and we stayed outside for almost half an hour. This hotel is great for anybody arriving on a late train or leaving on an early train. I would not stay there more than one night or for any other reason. A huge group of children (about 12 years old) were in the breakfast room, making breakfast very unpleasant. They were screaming at each other close to my ears and had no supervision. The lobby area was very busy, which probably shows the popularity of this hotel, but it was a great place to stay for an overnight stop. It is located just outside the train station, and because we were rushed for time, this convenience gave us the opporturnity to see more sights. Highly recommend it.

Very convenient - location and sightseeing for someone who doesn't speak German. Inconvenient - space, laundry and fee. Not for a family stay - an extremely confining bedroom with bunker beds and a bathroom that doesn't allow you to turn your body comfortably when taking a shower. NO A/C for one day for us. All the mischievous young kids all round - […] swarming the place. To use the only dryer, it takes about two hours to dry clothes and 5 hours of wait. This hotel is located a 1 min walk from main entrance of Berlin Central hbf Station, very handy. Also the sightseeing buses and boats depart from just outside the hotel. Quality of the room exeeded expectations, very clean and modern, equivalent to a very good 3 star in England. Staff very helpful. Spent 3 very enjoyable nights there, recommended.

Very lively hotel with many young people. Staff very helpful. Rooms and the rest of the hotel very clean. Location very convenient. If you are looking for a quiet hotel forget it. My wife and I are in our sixties but found the ambience most agreeable. Great value in an expensive area.

Leuk hotel overal dichtbij alles op loopafstand zelfs met 2 kids van 10 en 13! Parkeer gelegenheid is minder al hadden wij geluk en hadden een mooi gratis plekje. Super 3 dagen gehad.

Hervoragendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, zentrale Lage, Idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle Aktivitäten in Berlin. Hotel ist relativ neu und somit auch der Zustand der Zimmer. Weitere Pluspunkt ist m.E. die 24 stündige Besetzung der Rezeption.
