Very nice place to stay very friendly and courtious staff. I will stay here again. Excellent value.

This hotel is designed for extended stays but was still very comfortable for one night. Clean modern room. Not sure why it has a dishwasher but it does!

Surprise at size of suite which had a confortable settee, and convenience of a fridge freezer. Staff were very helpful when looking for a resturant to eat

Spacious room and bathroom. Very clean. Updated fixtures. Kitchen in excellent condition. Suite had full size refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Two flat screen TVs. Separate bedroom with door is a nice feature. Very reasonably priced for a suite.

On the weekend we were moving our daughter into her dorm at St. Olaf, all the hotels in Northfield, MN were booked, so we stayed at the GrandStay in Faribault. It was 15 miles away (south), and very convenient. The hotel staff were pleasant, efficient and knowledgable. The room (suite) was clean and comfortable. Glad we stayed there!

The hotel is very new and clean and as expected for an extended stay format. The only issue I had was with the reservation process: I originally called the hotel to book an overnight stay, but was told they were completely booked for the night in question. After I hung up I was able to easily book online with multiple sites showing availability. I […] don't know what type of arrangement the hotel has with the online services, but it comes across as very dishonest for the hotel to claim capacity when it really isn't the case. I asked about this at check-in and was not given an explanation except for "we are actually very full this weekend". Well, I was staying on a Thursday night and their parking lot only had about 20 cars in it at 8:30 p.m. that evening. The hotel should allow all physically unbooked rooms to be booked through calling direct, and to be sure their front desk personnel have that ability and directive. もっと読む

This is one of my favorite places to stay, and not just because my grandchildren live nearby. The suites are roomy, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is helpful. There are lots of electrical outlets (important for those of us with computers and CPAPs), and the pool facilities are great for the grandkids. Breakfasts have gotten better since our […] earlier stays, although they are more limited on weekends (at least, Labor Day weekend) than during the week. It is easy to get to from the highway, but not really close to things in town or eating places. Of course, in Faribault, nothing is very far away, but one does have to drive to get anywhere.
