ペニンシュラと言うことで大きな期待を抱いて行きました。 従業員の数は多く、十分にゲストをケアできる体制にあるのにかかわらず、レストランでは手を上げても見て見ぬ振りをするスタッフや動こうとするスタッフが少なかったです。フロントの対応は親切ですが、五つ星でこのサービスなら、三ツ星ぐらいの方がフレンドリーで気分良い対応してくれるのでは？と思いました。また、夜にバーに行こうとしましたが、ブロシュアーに記載されている時間よりも一時間半以上も早くしまっていて予定が崩れてしまいました。コンシェルジュに閉まっている事について訪ねたところ、電話で再度閉まっているか確認をバーに問い合わせてくれまたが、もう電話にでないので閉まっているみたいです。との事。そして別のバーに行きましたが営業はしているものの、ラストオー […] ダーまであと30分しかないからと、追い返されました。 部屋は広くエスプレッソマシーンがあり、とてもゆっくりと過ごせました。清掃については部屋によって偏りがあり、雑誌がきたなかったり、バスルームの汚れが目立つ日もあれば、とても綺麗に清掃されている日もありました。そしてハウスキーピングのスタッフの方はニコニコしながら挨拶をしてくれたりと、とてもフレンドリーでした。 もっと読む

ホテル自体はとてもよく、周辺環境も抜群ですが、若干部屋の掃除がもう少しレベルアップの必要があると思います。朝食も二つのレストランを利用しました、サービスの差が大きく、困惑する場面もありました。

部屋からの景色は今一つでしたが、部屋そのものは広く、落ち着いた色合いで、調度品も素晴らしかった。さすが一流のホテルと思いました。２４時間の滞在を心から楽しみました。

本当に素晴らしいホテルでした。 ホテル内は清潔で、スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、とても快適な滞在となりました。 夜の観光地、「外灘」から近く、浦東へもタクシーですぐなので、上海初心者にお勧めです。

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in January 2012. I have rarely had such a comfortable and overall terrific hotel experience. Like its design with high level of electronic connectivity.

Simply put, this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. I got a great rate on a base room from hotels.com, but when I arrived, I got an upgrade to a Grand Deluxe River Suite, presumably because I was only staying one night. I arranged for transportation from the airport and they were waiting for me just after I cleared customs. It was about […] a 35 minute ride from the airport. They did check-in in my room, which was nice. I had dinner at the Lobby restaurant, and the food was great and surprisingly not too overpriced. They had VOIP phones which allowed me to call back to the states as well as to my colleagues in China for free. They had satellite televisions that gave me access to about 7-8 channels in English. My only criticism was the breakfast service, which again was at the Lobby. I was immediately seated, but then had to wait about 15 minutes before anyone came to take my order. They were somewhat busy, but I think it was an issue where the hostess didn't hand off my table to a waiter. This Peninsula is one of the best one we had stayed. The design details are very thoughtful and precise. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay plus the facilities so much that we are already thinking of when to return. We had never been to a hotel which offers free local and distance calls.
