Great stay at the Best Western, Texas. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was fantastic! They had 1-2 hot items everyday. We stayed for 6 nights and everyone was helpful. Our TV did not work, and within 30 minutes the maintenance man had brought another one in for us. Great place to stay.

We stayed a week at this hotel. Nice furnishings but since it's a year old, some signs of abuse are showing. The stone top of the chest of drawers/refrigerator/microwave piece had been broken and glued back together. The refrigerator had shelves broken and the door was dented in a couple of places. Must have been some fight in that room! Bathroom big […] and spacious, nice storage underneath. The daily service was good - cleaned and straightened everything up nicely. Breakfast area was big and spacious but breakfasts were dissapointing. No eggs during the week - only the tried and true breads, waffles, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Milk was in a pitcher, not individual servings. Coffee bar stayed open all day and you could go in the room all day. One block away, all homes had bars on the windows so not sure if it's a great neighborhood, but we had no problems. Exit on Hutto for this place - your GPS will take you one exit too far if you just put in the address. Overall, a good experience. Would stay there again. No problems with noise from other rooms. Good: Friendly staff, newer place, good breakfast, nice decor, clean, comfortable, nice TV with many channels,. Bad: Barking dogs at auto place next door, room door didn't lock and refigerator missing (moved to another room, no hassle), no fan in bathroom (unusual), A/C unreliable in 2nd room and like another review it or something made a clicking noise. Hotel was nice, but our air conditioner rattled and the smoke detector was making a crackling noise. The staff said they checked it and would put in a new battery, but it still made the noise. We had to put an ottoman against the air conditioner to keep it from rattleing. The breakfast was good on the weekends, but very sparse on the weekdays. This new hotel was great. Very clean. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was a full breakfast with eggs and meat, not just carbs. Coffee could use some help, was weak but was hot. Plenty of room to eat in comfort. Staff were helpful and personable. Location was good. Easy to find. A good deal for the price. Nice place for everything.

It is inexcuseable that sports groups bring their kids to hotels/motels & take over everything making so much noise the other guests cannot enjoy their stay.

Hotel accomodations were nice and very plesant. Staff was friendly. The pillows were too firm for me. But I would go back again.

The hotel itself was wonderful, very clean and comfortable. We were very impressed with how clean it was. Our only problem was with hotel staff. Check in was slow and the staff was very unhelpful. Perhaps they were just having a bad day. At any rate, we would stay again.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The pictures on the internet is the exactly same as soon as you walk into the hotel. Most pictures are conceiving but this hotel is the best!

El hotel está bien ubicado, situado precisamente entre McAllen y Mercedes, el servicio bien, las habitaciones comodas, sólo tuvimos un detalle con el telefono, creo que no funcionaba el boton para comunicarse a la recepción, pero una vez que nos logramos comunicar el servicio fue inmediato.
