This hotel was excellent. Very clean & quiet. I will be using Drury again!

We were only there one night but it was great would stay there again

The hotel was very nice, service excellent, food great, would get a 5 out of 5 except the neighborhood was not as good as the hotel, and the carpet in my room had been cut and repaired badly, minor quibbles, but there you go.

Very good value. Extra nice, friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast and happy hour was very good.

Nice and comfortable. Hosts were all courteous.

All the staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were huge clean and comfortable. Restaurants close to the hotel and one or two of them take 5 minutes walk. The manager of this hotel was hands on, she greeted everyone at breakfast, clear the plates and clean the tables. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the Drury Inn last year when I came to Baton Rouge for a doctor's visit. Our stay was wonderful. We have even started looking for Drury hotels when we travel to other destinations. However, when I just returned with my mom for another check-up, I was highly disappointed. I called my husband and told him about the differences […] in our first stay and my current stay. We went from recommending this hotel to not even wanting to return ourselves. The hotel staff was not warm and friendly. During our first stay, the staff was excellent. I had to wait for awhile just to get someone to the front desk. My reservation was not showing up on hotels.com even though I had my confirmation number. The clerk was "kind" enough to assign me a room anyway instead of making me wait up to 30 minutes for her computer to show the reservation. It was already almost 11:00 pm), and I had a doctor's appt. the next morning. I booked the reservation while in the parking lot, and the lady on hotels.com said it would show immediately, but that was not the case. None of the soda machines had any drinks in them (I went from floor to floor). When I asked if there was a vending machine downstairs, the clerk POINTED to the vending machine on the other side of the wall (no cokes, only gatorades). I might interject here that I preferred to go out and get a quick bite to eat, but the front door was broken and people trying to use their room key could not get back in the door. The clerks were trying (quite slowly) to let them in, and nothing seemed to work. I saw one of the clerks taking the door off of the hinges when I came down to find a vending machine. Our breakfast was cold even though it was under a warmer. There was no juice in the juice machine. I just decided not to have a drink with my breakfast because the staff seemed to already be aware of the problem, and were arguing about something at the machine in front of guests. I could not say enough about this hotel, service was great from start to finish. We were there with 2 of our teen boys, they allowed there bikes to be brought in there room with no problems, they had great breakfast & dinner, also popcorn & softdrinks every evening. I had read previous reviews that stated the non smoking rooms had been smoked in. I found this to be the case with ours also. I smelled like an ash tray and they did not have any other rooms available until our second night.

Nice hotel for the money. Breakfast was good and the evening "happy hour" was very generous. We had an issue with the tub not draining and it was taken care of promptly. This hotel has especially good access if you have business in Lafayette & New Orleans as well. I was pleased that when I requested a quiet room so I could get a good night's sleep I was put on back side of hotel away from freeway noise. Best hotel in Baton Rouge. Extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable. I've paid double this for rooms this nice. Exceptional value. Front desk clerks could learn to smile more, show assertiveness, and treat you more like a customer not a number. That's my only gripe.

Sunflower seeds from previous guest on floor. Also the Hot Tub was cold the entire weekend. Other than that they do a good job.

Excellent. Staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean. Different types of pillows on the beds so you could choose which one you liked. Free food and drinks at night were a great suprise. I would definatly stay at a Drury Inn again.

I stayed here because my father was very ill in the hospital and it was directly across the street from the hospital. I live an 1 1/2 away so the location was perfect. Good location, quiet room, nice staff, easy access to interstate, near mall, but 5:30 Kickback made my stay. Lobby more impressive than the room itself but the hotel is very well maintained.

All I can say is I wish we could have stayed longer. Kick back Lounge from 5:30- 7:00- awesome!!! Real breakfast- double awesome. Indoor and outdoor pool are a plus for year- round fun.

This facility is a great value...the rooms are clean and very comfortable even to a recliner for the "extra" chair. Little extras are also offered like "kick back" gathering in the lobby. well done Drury Inn

I had a great experience, only bad thing is I had to check out at 6am and noone was at the front desk, and breakfast was not ready....at least put out the fruit basket early.....otherwise it was a great 3 days...

The hotel was extremely clean and staff was very polite and helpful. Hotel is right next to the interstate but very quiet. The rooms were comfortable and the food and drinks were excellent.

I recently stayed at the Drury Inn Baton Rouge on a business trip. My stay was comfortable and I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The free popcorn and snacks were a great bonus. Clean, quiet, great happy hour.

I stay at many of the nicest hotels around the country, when I booked at the Drury Inn, I wasn't sure what to expect. Only down fall. No food with in waking. But there was a race Trac!!!

Wonderful stay from check in to check out. The room was clean and lovely. Staff knowledgeable of surrounding areas. The only negative, but not major, the housekeeper spoke little English..but we worked together until she understood. Telling all my friends and family to check out this great hotel!!

This is the second time I have stayed at this Drury Inn and it was wonderful service. I couldn't ask for better service and food/drinks were great after a hard day. Beautiful hotel and the staff is so helpful.

The Drury Inn off Essen in Baton Rouge was a great choice for my family and I. The rates were better than most hotels in the same area and all the "extras" that were included helped make our decision to stay there.
