The location is great for exploring the area. You need a car though. We covered, Obidos, Peniche, Tomar, Batalha and a few others from here. The... accomodation was great; rooms spacious, clean and secure. The breakfast was excellent and the people were extremely helpful and nice. Its a slightly rural location but about a 2 min drive to a supermarket and 5 minute drive to Obidos which was probably one of the best historic sites we visted in Portugal.
