Clean, nice room. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable

This hotel was very nice and clean. It had an excellent free complimentary breakfast. It had easy access to the interstate. The beds were very comfortable.

We were blown away by the amazing customer service. The staff were very attentive to fine details. Every person was customer focused, it was a great stay.

Shower was broken and they couldn't have cared less. The only option they gave (after complaining enough) was to go down 3 floors every morning and take a shower in a vacant room but they wouldn't switch us to the vacant room. Just lug us, our luggage, and 4 year old each morning to and from. Luckily we were visiting family so we showered at their house […] then borrowed what we needed to fix the shower ourselves. Neighborhood behind the hotel is full of various animals. We were awakened by barking dogs and howling cats at various hours of the night. Then completely awake after multiple roosters let it be known it was time to get up, that was right around 4am each morning. Breakfast buffet was almost inedible. Room was HOT Not all channels on TV came in Internet was terribly slow, when it worked. I have stayed at various spring hills before and that's why we chose this one, usually they are excellent. very nice,modern Springhill suites-good if you dont want to stay downtown and just a night or two. Indoor pool tiny,but was fine.

we opted to stay outside of the historic district to save money, more than $50 less per night and still close enough to drive in 15 minutes

Everything was nice and clean and the hotel looks new. The area in general is full of hotels and shopping centers and the mall is 3 minutes away.

Everything was great but the hot water was luke warm at best. That is the only reason this hotel receives a 3 on condition and maintenance. Other that a cold shower the experience was great and the staff was very hospitable.

Hotel was extremely nice & clean. Service was great. My experience to the new retro style room was not so favorable as the rooms was cramped. Rates were great. Easy to check in and out since rooms are pre-paid. Be aware though that hotel puts a hold on your credit card (ours was $40 for 2 nights) in case you make other charges. Biggest problem was noise. Guest above us must have been playing a video game or was seriously pacing because walking and/or running went on for hours - until 1 am […] first night. Some grout missing in bathroom made tub and toilet look a bit dirty. We look for good rates, free breakfast and internet plus free, safe parking. Completely met those requirements. Bed was too soft for my tastes but made my husband happy (we have adjustable bed at home to satisfy these differences). Staff was very friendly from front desk to cleaning crew to maintenance man. The service was Excellent from the minute we checked in to the minute we left. Everyone was very friendly. The decor is kinda funky--some kind of Victorian/Caribbean mix! The carpet needed cleaning in the common areas-not stained-just dirty. The breakfast had eggs, bacon, sausage links, 2 waffle makers, oatmeal with lot of topping choices, cereal, […] milk, apple and oj as well as yogurt, various breads and condiments. Saved us $40 we would've spent eating at a restaurant over the 2 days we were there. Our room was nicely appointed, bed comfortable, nice thick designer towels, clean, roomy. My only complaint is there is an older neighborhood right behind the Hotel and someone had a Rooster that crowed for an hour every morning at sunrise. if you came to sleep bring ear plugs. there is a rooster that will start crowing around 4:00 am. and will not stop all morning.

Four of us and our two infants were looking for a nice clean affordable suite - and this more than filled the bill. Hotel looked pretty new - room had two very clean queen beds and a sleeper couch (that we didn't need.) Only drawback was the slightly odd layout of the room - TV was on a desktop away from the beds and it was a little narrow around the […] bed furthest from the door. That being said - for one night with kids who don't go anywhere - it was fine. Pool was nice - we enjoyed that it was open until 11pm. I was impressed with the security - cameras everywhere and the parking was lit enough (not bright, but good enough.) We spent Nov 3rd thru Nov.5th. checked out on the 6th. Everything was very clean and items were provided that were needed. Coffee lots of towels and lots of pillows. It was a wonderful place to stay. Thank You D.W. from Virginia

Bed, desk chair and bench were ok - but needed a nice stuffed chair to lean back in and watch the TV. Other than that the room was great. The best Iv'e stayed in.

Wonderful weekend stay for my anniversary. Hotel was very nice and clean. Convienient to outlet malls and Historic Charleston. Will stay here again when i return to Charleston.

The staff was really great from the time we arrived until we checked out. Kenya was so nice she changed our room from the 3rd floor to the 1st so my Mother didn't have so far to walk. Sandra in Housekeeping was the best, after our room was cleaned there was some oily residue left from the floor cleaners and this made the floor extremely slippery. We were very happy with the hotel. Never stayed at a Spring Hills before and enjoyed the decor. Pool was too small and full of unsupervised kids, as was the exercise room. Nice outdoor eating and sitting areas. Was very disappointed in "free Carriage ride" PROMO We couldn't connect to link because there was no link, we finally called and spent over […] 45 min. to finally be told the coupon would come to us in 12 hours. Just in time to go but it didn't show up until after we had taken the carriage ride. (The carriage ride company honored our free ride, as we gave them our conformation # with us. The staff was very courteous and the rooms were clean. I stayed in a room with two queen beds, but it only had on TV. The TV was shared with the sitting area. Other than that everything was great.

This hotel was just ok. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the rates were decent. When housekeeping arrived in the morning, we asked them to please come back as we were still sleeping. They never came back during the day so the room was a mess and we slept on the same sheets at the night before.
