great hotel - beautiful neighborhood - a few minor issues w/ the internet and scheduling taxis, but nothing major - I would stay here again!

This hotel would be a bargain at higher prices. The rooms are not as small as some hotels in Paris, and ours had three closets (I swear to that!) and a brand new marble bathroom. (And I stayed in the least expensive room.) The staff is exceptional. the room was very small and suitable for 1 person overnight. the closet was tiny, the hanger had to go sideways and the open closet door blocked the bathroom. there was a desk but no chest of drawers, nowhere to put anything. we were offered an upgrade for 40 euro a nite but it had the same flaws. the staff was perfunctory, not friendly, and the woman […] on day shift was actually rude on one occasion. but a perfect location and pleasant lobby, which was being redecorated during our stay and it was very cold during breasfast and smelled of paint. should have closed hotel during this process or at least informed us prior to arrival. もっと読む

The room was very nice (it seemed recently redone) - Parisian hotel rooms all seem to be small but we had 2 adults and a baby cot without a problem. This hotel was very cute and comfortable and in a GREAT location. The bed linens were lovely and the pillows were so comfortable. The top floor room we had was very clean and cute and spacious. However, it could use some more basics... like hair conditioner! Some staple toiletries (didn't have anything but soap and a blow dryer), maids left our room […] door open all day! Oh and the hotel was undergoing renovations unknown to us. They contractors were not meant to start until 10am however, they started 2x at 9am! Great hotel! It was a clean beautiful small hotel with balconys overlooking small shops. The staff was super friendly and they have a great little breakfast in the mornings for free. You can not beat the location.

My wife and I spent 5 days here, and thought the hotel did, in the main, live up to what it promised. However, 1) Don't believe the web site views of the rooms' sizes. They are "creatively" overblown by excellent marketing photography.The rooms are VERY small, even by Parisian standards, for a 3-star hotel. This hotel gave us such great service, for a moment I thought I was in Epcot Center! We arrived before 9am expecting to have to stash our luggage until our room was ready. The George Clooney lookalike behind the desk informed us in perfect English that they knew we had been up all night and would we like breakfast? It only got better. I was apprehensive about booking this hotel based on some negative reviews I read, but am I glad that I decided to disregard those! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was more spacious than I had anticipated -- in fact it was roomier (by far) than hotel rooms in NYC that I have stayed in. The hotel is centrally located and […] we were able to walk to all the attractions -- just a few blocks from the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay. Our first stay at Saint Germain Hotel was about 10 years ago with 2 other visits following. We were very pleased with the hotel which is why we booked it again. I wanted a superior room as we expected more comfort with something a bit larger. Wrong! The picture on the website with the well decorated room with more space was what we thought we were getting […] for our 3 night stay. As we checked in we were told we were getting the largest room in the hotel. What a joke. Perhaps the 2 ft entrance into the room (you had to push the door open as the carpeting held the door back) made it the largest room.. The only furnishing in the room were 2 twin beds, a child's size desk and small chair.. No drawers (we had to keep drawer items in our suitcases, on the floor). One evening we brought in food for a light dinner and had to use our suitcase as a table. When complaining to a young male behind the desk, he showed me on the computer that this was a superior room, just updated. The rooms on the website as well as the postcard on the front desk indicated the well appointed rooms, not the room we were given. I told him this and he replied that we had a superior room - that's all. There was some chipped paint but really just a lovely hotel. Complimentary breakfast is almost unheard of in Paris and this one was very good with great coffee, a choice of nice chewy rolls and croissants and other breakfast fare. It was a shame that the wifi signal was not strong but they provided a notebook.

Vi har haft et fantastisk ophold på dette hotel fra d. 22 feb - 26 feb 2012!! Super hyggeligt værelse der var i tip top stand med en gennemført hyggelig stil. Der er rengøring med udskiftning af håndklæder hver dag, hvis man ønsker dette. Det var ikke så stort et værelse (Vi havde booket det billigste), men vi havde ikke behov for mere plads. Fint lydisoleret. […] Der var samsung fladskærm og trådløst internet, internettet var dog til tider lidt ustabilt - men personalet gjorde meget for at afhjælpe ustabiliteten. Personalet var i receptionen hele døgnet og hjalp med et smil, med alt fra internet, taxabestilling og bordbestillinger. Ved ankomsten fik vi udleveret et kort over Paris. Morgenmaden (Tid 7.30-10.30 ) bestod af: yoghurt, havregryn, musli, cornflakes, crossainter (Med/uden chokolade), flute, forskellige slags marmelade, smørbart chokolade, honning og skåret frugt, forskellig slags kaffe og te, 2 typer juice, mælk og vand. Hotellet ligger centralt ca. 20-25 mins gang til Eiffeltårnet, Louvre el. Notre dame. Det er billigere at køre med taxa i Paris end i København og dette benyttede vi os af flere gange. Det er let at praje en taxa på gaderne og meget tæt med hotellet er en taxaholdeplads. Gaderne omkring hotellet er fyldt med slagtre, blomsterbutikker, supermarkeder, special-butikker, tøjbutikker, cafeer osv. Vi følte os aldrig utrygge ved at færdes i kvarteret. Vi vil varmt anbefal dette hotel til andre der skal til Paris og skal vi selv til Paris igen, bliver det uden tvivl på dette hotel vi skal bo!! もっと読む

Åkte på en weekend i Paris och bodde då på hotell Saint Germain Hotel. Hotellet var jättemysigt både invändigt och utvändigt. Rummen var ganska små men det gjorde ingenting. Sängen var absolut den skönaste jag sovit i någon gång!!! Jag tycker hela hotellet var väldigt fräscht och välstädat. Receptionen är öppet dygnet runt vilket är super bra då vi […] skulle checka ut på natten. Alla som jobbade var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsamma och man kändes verkligen välkommen. Hotellets belägenhet är helt perfekt. Det ligger mitt i centrum och det är bara några få minuters gångväg till bland annat Eiffeltornet. Det ligger även en metrostation precis utanför hotellet. Och för alla som älskar sushi så finns det en helt otroligt god sushi restaurang vid hotellet som heter Matsuri. Nästa gång vi åker till Paris kommer vi absolut boka detta hotellet igen!!!! もっと読む

In een mooie wijk met een parkeergarage niet te ver weg. Kleine kamers waar in de gangen nog volop aan de bedrading wordt gewerkt. Hotellet er meget fint med rigtig god service og super beliggenhed. Værelset passer fint med billederne her på siden og er nyrenoveret. Morgenmaden er fin og i simpel fransk stil med friske croisanter.

Hotel réservé dans le cadre professionnel. Hotel propre et personnel très accueillant et serviable. Mais l'hotel et peu pratique, c'est à dire, pas de prise pour recharger les portable et chambre très petite, juste la place du lit. Bien juste pour dormir car le lit est très confortable. Nice location and good looking lobby. The room was totaly different from what we saw on the internet pages, it was smaller and much simpler. Therefor slightly overpriced.

Service og personale helt i top, kvalitet og hotel standard, svarer ikke overens med prisen. Boede fra den 6 maj til 9 maj på andet hotel meget tæt på Nortre Dame. hvor kvalitet og standard, var meget lig med jeres. men til den halve pris.

Hotellet ligger centralt og med minimalt støj. Selve værelser var gammelt og meget småt. Der var mere plads på i flyvet til Paris end der var på toilettet. Billedet på hotellets hjemmeside over værelser, ved vi ikke hvor er, for vores var ringere end det. Men taget i betragtning over at det er minimal tid man er på hotellet var det super hyggeligt.

Durante todo o periodo de estadia ( 7 dias), o ar condicionado não funcionou, a TV sòmente 2 dias, e o weirless no quarto funcionou precariamente. Reclamei todos os dias, e me era dito que seria solucionado, e que era impossível a troca de quarto. Até o dia da minha saída não foi resolvido. Das Hotel St. Germain ist auf den ersten Blick wirklich wunderschön, aber wir müssten feststellen, dass es wie in zwei Abteile getrennt war. Der vordere Teil ist sehr exklusiv und schön, wenn man aber die Zimmer nr 1-4 hat, muss man durch eine kleinen Hof laufen, Zimmer 1 und 2 sind Erdgeschossig und haben jeweils einen Fenster, der auf dem kleinen […] Hof schaut. Die Zimmer 3 und 4 sind durch eine extrem kleine und steile Treppe zu erreichen (die Koffer wurden getragen). Die Zimmer sind in diesem Teil sind extrem klein, aber auch sehr sauber. Wenn man ein Paar ist, kann ich dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen. Aber als Freunde ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett ist einfach viel zu klein. もっと読む

Lo cierto es que al reservarlo no tuve impresión de la calidad fuera tan buena. Es un hotelito muy chiquitito a escasos 10min andando del Louvre, en uno de los barrios más exclusivos de Paris. El único pero que encontramos en la localización del hotel es que hay pocos restaurantes en los que cenar por la zona pero todos los pros, en cuanto a trato recibido, […] diseño, limpieza y proximidad, hacen que esta sea una gran opción de alojamiento en Paris.
