I've stayed in this hotel 5 or 6 times. This last time, I was disappointed with the bathroom "amenities", specifically the towels. They seemed like a dog drag them around and tear them, then the cleaning ladies used them to mop the floors, clean the rooftops, let them hanging to dry, and then reuse them as regular towels.

I needed a reasonable priced hotel in McAllen for a couple of days and after reading the reviews and the price, I selected this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent and clean. The only drawback for me was the hotel was about 6 miles away from what I needed to go every day but the street I used (right in front […] of the hotel) did not have any traffic congestions and never had any problems getting in and out. The room had internet (wired) and phone connections which I needed to perform some work related tasks. The hotel doesn’t charge for local calls or toll free calls. They have a feature that you cannot place a long distance call from the room so you won’t get charged. The hotel is closed to the State Farm Arena in case you need get there for a sport event. There are no major stores or other type of entertainment nearby so you either need to drive to downtown Hidalgo or downtown McAllen. Really enjoy staying at this hotel. Clean rooms, private, and good customer service for the price cannot beat it.

This hotel is a little off the beaten path but not by much. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the appointments in the hotel are great. the rooms are up to date and clean. The breakfast was continental plus waffles but if you want eggs go to Walmart and get some microwave ones for your room as it has microwave and fridge. Amazing price, very clean updated hotel right next door to the Arena. Friendly staff.

I love this hotel and will stay here whenever I'm in mcallen again. I know the surrounding areas so it is not far for me since it is in hidalgo. It was very clean and comfortable.

The rooms have a lot of space and the hotel in general is fine. I just have a small complain about the cleanliness of the bathroom which I think can be improved. The breakfast offered is just bread and some cereal, so don't expect too much

The hotel was clean and very quiet. Our needs were attended to promptly. Breakfast was just ok, there was not much to choose from. Yogurt and whole grain bagels or breads are my preference.

Pros: Facilities are in very good shape Beds were very comfortable Relaxing environment - nothing close but a quiet Arena (at the time we were there) Every appliance working perfectly Improvements: Service at Breakfast - Personnel were not really friendly... Cleanliness - Could be improved - no major issues however

Nice Hotel. Everything looked relatively new and clean. Was surprised for the price seemed pretty good. A little out of the way in Hidalgo instead of McAllen, but not too far maybe added 10 minutes from hotels in McAllen

I loved my stay at this Hotel but I was very..very..Disapointed with the Breakfast Menu. I am a Diabetic and this means I can not have any regular Sugar, and all I saw was regular waffles w/syrup..sugar Cereal...sugar muffins and pasteries..What I can not eat..That is why We stay at the Holiday Express were they serve from eggs to sausage and bacon […] and 1% milk...Wheat bread they have a great Continental breakfast. Great Hotel, a bit harder to find than I expected. The location has both a Street address and a FM or CR Road address which confused my GPS. Clean and well furnished rooms, but for dining expect to drive or there is 1 local pizza restaurant that will deliver.

New-ish hotel, clean and nice. Working Hot tub jacuzzi outside was clean and well maintained. The Hotel is literally next door to the arena, which would be convenient for those attending an event there. It is also only a few miles from the airport. this hotel was amazing and it was just opened so everything smelled brand new and was very comfortable, the beds were the best ive slept on in any hotel

Everything about the hotel and staff was excellent. I usually don't stay at Best Westerns but this hotel is new and very convenient to the airport. I will stay again!

Hotel con empleados muy amables, un buen servicio y las instalaciones son comodas y bonitas, buen estacionamiento aunque esta alejado del centro de Mcallen se llega muy rápido y fácil al Mall y al centro mismo de Mcallen y la 23.

En fin de semana (domingo) el horario para el desayuno es el mismo que entre semana, sería ideal que pudiera ser hasta mas tarde, el estar junto a la Arena es muy bueno, pero el pensar que tienes que levantarte temprano después de una desvelada en sábado, para aprovechar el desayuno da flojera!!!!

El desayuno es muy pobre. Sólo cereal y pan dulce.

Exelente hotel. Personal muy atento. Camas amplias y limpias, colchones muuuuy suaves y almohadas muy comodas.

El hotel esta muy bien, sólo que el desayuno esta muy malo y además el horario tampoco me gustó, ya que sólo hasta las 9 am...

Se sugiere sean más amplios y ofrezcan otras espectativas, ya que sirven muchos alimentos dulces y muy temprano. Lo demá muy bien, gracias.

la puerta de salida hacia los caros esta demasiado dura aun para mi que soy hombre, luego de abierta tiene mucha fuerza y golpeo a mi esposa en una ocasion

La habitación del hotel muy bien cama muy cómoda y espacios amplios tiene todo lo que necesitas pero lo malo no estaba muy limpia la taza del wc mal, lo demás todo excelente la alberca jacussi gimnasio recomendable
