Before my trip I have done a good amount of reading reviews about hotels. A review must be useful :-), so: the hotel is close to transportation (subway) and is about 20-25 euros to get to Tegel airport, next to a great shopping street, a walk from RitterSport Welt. Fantastic. For the price, you can't beat it. Very modern accommodation, clean room, friendly and helpful hotel staff who spoke English well, and the location is superb. There is a pharmacy, a great grocery store, a dry cleaners, and several coffee and sandwich shops literally right around the corner.

Excellent location, right in the middle of everything. Went for a Christmas city break and was wonderfully surprised. This hotel was in a good location close to check point Charlie. We were able to walk to most of the places we wished to visit. It was a short Cab drive from the main tran station about 8 Euro cab fare. The hotel was clean and comfortable, however, the hall carpets were extremely dirty which distracted from the overall ambience of the hotel.

Great location, helpful staff. I found the street facing room too noisy but they moved me to an inside room which was quiet. The inside rooms has the open bathroom, but I was staying alone so it didn't bother me. Would definitely recommend!
