ロック ネス クランズマン (Loch Ness Clansman Hotel)格安予約

Only spending 1 night here with my son I found it was the perfect location to see this beautiful area. I recommend the fishing trip and the staff where very friendly.

We stayed one night in the Clansman as part of a trip around Scotland as you can't go to Scotland for the first time and not indulge in a bit of light Nessie hunting. We arrived early evening and was greeted by a rather stern and not particularly happy gentleman who checked us in and pointed us to our room. Incidentally our check out exepreince was […] entirely different; the lady who checked us out couldn't be happier or friendlier. Thinking of a word to describe the room, I keep coming back to the word nice, and I think that about covers it. Was it the best room I have ever stayed in? No. Was it the worst? Definitely not. It was clean and comfortable, the bathroom seemed relatively new and the bed was fine. The TV was small even by hotel standards but I guess, with a loch facing view, that almost seems a minor point. The view was INCREDIBLE. Even without the mystery of Loch Ness and the Nessie hunting I could do from the quiet comfort of my bedroom, the view is one of the best I've experenced from a hotel room. We did pay a little extra for a loch view room (actually arranging our whole trip so as to ensure we had a loch facing view) and it was so worth it. In terms of location, the hotel couldn't be any closer to the Loch itself without needing ballast and an anchor. It is however, not within walking distance of the surrounding towns, so unless you have a car or are happy to pay for a taxi, you will have to accept that you will be eating in the hotel. We did have a car and went out for dinner so I can't comment on the quality of the evening meal. We did however have breakfast there which again was nice. We arrived about 8.40 on a Saturday evening we were welcomed by a really nice member of staff who booked us in. This member of staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We came down for the evening meal which was excellent and the waiting staff were friendly without being obtrusive. We stayed there 2 nights bed and breakfast, could not fault the hotel, very good service clean and comfartable rooms, breakfast very good, we ate in the hotel both evenings, meals lovely food good presentation staff were great, only fault I had was, we stayed in room 1 overlooking the Loch which we paid extra for, one which was at the lounge bar door […] leading to an outside veranda, and everyone went there for a smoke right outside the bedroom window so you were getting the a group of smokers congregating outside your window for a smoke which let the smoke come into your room and you had to close your window, they should allocate another area for smoking, apart from that a very pleasent stay. もっと読む

If they ever compile a chart about 'Greatest Breakfast Views In The World', then the Clansman would be #1 as it looks out on to Loch Ness which allows you to do some monster spotting while eating your toast. You can also walk down to the lochside using the underpass, and there are reasonably priced boat rides from the pontoon. Rooms aren't enormous […] but comfortable, and you can opt for the more expensive loch view, or get the woodland view which isn;t really a view at all as you are right on to a hill. This was my second stay and the only complaint I would make is that the walls are thin which means if you get an inconsiderate guest playing their TV loud, you get to hear it. It's a couple of miles out of Drumnadrochit with nothing else around, but that's a plus - and Inverness is about a 15 minute drive.
