I arrived next day when I booked. My flight was late, but all service was good. I asked a guy at reception " in Christmas time, shops are open or not" He said, after 28... but almost shops were open from 27th.

The hotel itself is lovely. The foyer is open and light, there is a computer station with at least 4 iMacs and a printer for use by all guests. A large selection of cured meats and smoked salmon, and just as many cheeses. The cooked food included scrambled eggs, bacon sausages (of course) and then there were the waffles, berliners and danishes galore. There's also bircher muesli, fruits and an abundance of yoghurts for the health conscious/B far the highlight of my stay. The bar on the top floor also has a spectacular view of Berlin but after going out to other bars and restaurants in the city you'll notice that the prices are very expensive by comparison. Typical hotel prices. If you don't want to take a taxi from the airport or the main station which can cost up to 30euro the hotel is very easily accessed by Berlin's brilliant and user friendly public transport system. There is the Landsberger Allee tram stop directly outside and the train station of the same name is a 5 minute walk. The tram will also take you to Alexander Platz within 12 minutes and Mitte in 15, which is good as there really isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel. もっと読む

The hotel was fabulous right fromthe checking in process. The only complaint i have as a non smoker that the out on the red carpet entrance you have to walk through an array of smokers which is quite unpleasatn. But wont let it put me off as the hotel was fabulous and in easy reach to all areas by tram or train in the city.

Lovely Hotel, the breakfast was fantastic and a real bonus. The location could be considered remote from the main tourist areas but the public transport links are superb. Our room was quiet and well equipped, we would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

The only complaint was the buffet breakfast, although fantastic, they kept running out of waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. Two different days we had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to be refilled, other then that all the food was fabulous and a great assortment.
