This hotel was quite nice, beds were comfortable and staying in the King Suite was excellent for our family of four. It was nice for my husband and I to have privacy in the seperate bedroom and the kids slept on the pull out couch which was also pretty comfortable and they were happy to be able to watch their shows on TV while my husband and I watched […] what we wanted in our room. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Dinner with wine provided every night Monday through Thursday. Excellent breakfast bar. Nice workout room . Great pool. Bed was very clean and comfortable. The suite was spacious and had everything you could want or need except perhaps a small safe for your valuables. Overall, a grand experience.

The hotel is very nice, the suite was large and of a quality that you'd expect from a Hilton property. You get a nice complimentary breakfast and there was also an evening meal one night. The problem is the location. It is in an area where there are a few shops and restaurants, which took about 30 minutes to look around. There were more shops over the […] road, but you cannot reach then unless you take a 30 minute walking detour, which involves scrammling down a bank with traffic coming at you. I went as it was supposed to be close to the new Meadowlands, and I could see the stadium from my room, about 1-2 miles away. However, to get there took an hour walk. The free hotel shuttle can only take you part way there as well. The staff didn't seem very knowledgable about any of this, even though a number of games fans were there. There are closer hotels to stay at if you want to see a game. You could travel into New York, but this would take some time and I would have just stayed in the city. The hotel is not near to the airport, about $46 plus tips to get there. So really, unless it's a base for New Jersey, I cannot see the point of it. もっと読む

Booked online following other people's reviews. What I got was a very nice hotel with great rooms and good service. There was a welcome buffet dinner on arrival, splendid breakfasts and free parking. Some of the area is a bit industrial but the hotel and East Rutherford itself were fine. Travelling to Manhattan on the bus was only a 20 minute journey […] and the bus stop was an easy 10 minute walk or a call for the hotel shuttle. The weather being nice and the area ok we walked. Breakfast was wonderful, evening dinner was fantastic, and the room was very spacious. Bus to NYC is just a few blocks away and the hotel shuttle is very accessible and will take you to the bus stop. Take bus 163 there and 163 LOCAL (not express) on the return. The hotel staff was very informative on NJ Transit info. There's a small shopping plaza across […] the street with several restaurants & stores. Everything we needed was within a few blocks. Very very good compared to other hotels!

Top-notch service, large, clean, comfortable suite for 6 people. Complimentary breakfast and internet very much appreciated. We weren't around for the complimentary dinner on any night but based on everything else, I'm sure it was wonderful. The only reason I gave lower marks for convenience was because we usually stay right in NYC but didn't book early […] enough this year to get a suite right in the city for the week we wanted. This was a beautiful hotel and a good alternative, and I'm happy we found it. But I missed being able to walk back to our room after late shows. The bus was fine, just required a bit more planning. The carpets were not clean in the corridor to the elevators or in the eating section of the lobby. The carpet in our room had a soil stain. Cable T.V. did not have all the channels. Outside of that it was clean and we had a nice stay.

We were in New Jersey for a an event at the Izod Center and booked 2 nights for my husband and I plus our daughter and a friend at Homewood Suites based on excellent hotel reviews. I am happy to report that the hotel was a great choice. I booked a studio suite and a few days prior to arrival, I called the hotel and they were more than willing to upgrade […] us to a one-bed suite. While the room layout was a bit smaller than what the Homewood Suites website portrays in their photos, there was sufficient room for us to relax. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with a separate sink area - definitely a necessity with 4 guests in a room. Queen bedding was very comfy and the room included a large flat screen TV. Living area had its own flat screen TV and a full sofabed for the girls. Kitchen includes microwave, stove and full-size fridge. Overall, the room was cozy and clean. Our hotel stay included breakfast each morning. We loved the egg-topped bagels and enjoyed the make-your-own waffles, fruit bowl, coffee, sausage, bagles and toast. The scrambled eggs, fritatta, and french toast sticks - not so much. There is a small fitness room on the first floor, which unfortunately was not air conditioned during our recent stay. We happened to be in town during a 100+ degree heatwave and the last thing we wanted to do was sweat more. The indoor pool, however, was refreshing, although the pool bottom could use a cosmetic touch-up as it is worn and discolored. The hotel is conveniently located on a busy highway, approximately 2 miles from the sports and concert centers and is close to many restaurants, theaters and shopping, as well. There is a complimentary hotel shuttle to the surrounding area and New York City is an easy bus or train ride away. Free parking was a big plus. Nice Hotel Clean New Room, was great except Toilet kept running, Access a little difficult off 17 as ther is a lot of construction. All in All a nice hotel.

Totally worth the money spent!! The breakfast and light meals on weekdays are awesome. We lived here for a week and did not miss the comforts of our home at all. The management is very friendly and cheerful even in the later part of the day! Would come back here again!

We stayed at The Homewood Suites, E. Rutherford NJ as we were conducting business in the area. The hotel was above our expectations - every thing was very nice, and really clean. Very clean, comfortable hotel. I was traveling with 5 others and we got a two bedroom suite which was quite roomy and accommodating. The continental breakfast was more than enough to satisfy and the staff was courteous and friendly. I will be choosing this hotel again.

The staff is extremely helpful. There is a wonderful breakfast every morning. Then Mon-Thurs. there is a nice hot dinner. The location was close to NYC and close to the train station. They also have a shuttle that will get you to the nearest train station. Clean and very professional hotel.

We tried the Homewood Suites because our other ususal places were full and it was very close to where we were visiting. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was accommodating and warm. All in all, it was a very good value.

Et fint hotel med gode værelser og god service. Poolen var lille men absolut anvendelig. Det fungerede fint med shuttlebus til Manhattan, selv om den nogen gange var så fyldt at man skulle vente på den næste. Morgenmaden var fremragende, og managers reception mandag til torsdag forrygende. Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel til en New Yorker tur.
