地下鉄7号線キタイ・ゴーラト駅の北側改札を出て、地下商店街を右手に歩き、突き当たりの左側出口で地上にあがる。そのまま道なりに前進。最初の三叉路を左折し、すぐに右折。通りの右側の普通の目立たないマンションの入り口にホステルの表示が小さくあります。階段で4階まであがればナポレオンホステル。2段ベッドのドミトリーはいくつもあるものの男女同室の場合も。共用スペースはロビー前のソファのみ。WiFi、PCが2台、ドリンク販売などがあります。常にいろんな人が出入りしているので、深夜は騒がしすぎることもあり。各部屋に手持ちの南京錠がかけられるロッカーはあるが、小さすぎると使えない。赤の広場、グム、ワシリー寺院までは徒歩圏内。

It can be hard for weak people to walk upstairs to 4th floor, but it's not a problem to me.. oh, btw about smoking, I'm non-smoker and it was not good whenever the main door was opened, cause the smoke flowed in. (I think in Russia, smoking is not regarded as bad as in Korea..) But, So friendly, and funny. Actually it was the first time for me to stay […] in youthhostel, so I can't compare here to others. But, there was so comfortable. staying in the center of the Moscow at that price, it's nice. A very friendly place with a good kitchen. Beds are eight to a room, but what do you expect for so little per night in central Moscow?

Much of the set-up is what one would expect for a hostel: basic bunks, nice little kitchen, etc. Besides the fifteen-minute walk from Red Square, the other outstanding feature is the staff. They have posted all the information on sites, transportation in Russia, and travel tips. They even helped me buy a train ticket to St. Petersburg online! Although I have never stayed at a hostel before, I CAN say that staying at the Napoleon Hostel was one of the most pleasant experiences of my life. The staff was friendly and VERY helpful in helping me navigate Moscow, and the proximity to Red Square made touring amazingly convenient. But what set the experience aside in my memory is the diversity of […] people staying there for the short time I was there. I met people, literally, from all over the world...and they, like me, were out exploring the world and were generally happy to share their own experiences. Ik vind het hotel heel goed voor wie alleen is en snel een bezoekje wil brengen aan Moskou. Het kastje dat je kon op slot doen was te klein. En voor het overige had je helemaal geen kast om iets op te bergen. Daarom is het vooral een hotel voor niet al te lange periodes. Maar het was heel goedkoop en dhet personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Goed hostel, helaas wel op de vierde verdieping zonder lift. Goede locatie, dicht bij de bezienswaardigheden en 2 verschillende metrostations. Zelf hou ik er niet zo erg van als er veel jongeren in de gezamenlijke ruimte heel wat alcohol achterover slaan, dat vond ik een nadeel. Verder wel aardig staf.
