Absolutely fantastic hotel, room was so clean, bright and impressive furnishings. Bernadette & Andy (the owners) could not have been any friendlier, (felt like I had known them for years) they also went out there way to accomadate my vegetarian daughter. It was a pleasure staying there and will go there time & time again. Thanks Bernie n Andy

We stayed here for 2 nights 30th October 2012 with our 7 year old son. From the moment you arrive Andrew and Bernadette make you feel very welcome and are very friendly and chatty. Overall the hotel is very nice in all areas and super clean everywhere. The bar is great for a warming night cap after a day on the cold sea front and the food & drink prices […] are very cheap compared to the sea front bars. Rock-Dene is in a great location just off the sea front and in the middle of the big attractions. Finally the icing on the cake is the breakfast which is superb and fills you up for the whole day. Our son can be a little funny about staying in a strange hotel but he was completely at home here. My daughter and I spent two nights at the RockDene last week. We could not have asked for a warmer welcome or a more pleasant atmosphere. The hotel was very clean and close to the Pleasure Beach and trams. We will go back and I think that says it all.

I have to say, I was a tad apprehensive about going to Blackpool as it had been years since my last holiday there. However, the whole promenade has been updated, as has the trams. I knew it was going to be expensive but Andy & Bernadette who owned the hotel sold us tickets for Waxworks & Sealife saving me a small fortune!!! The hotel was located close to the South Pier which was great, the tram stop was at the bottom of the road which was ideal at night returning to the hotel. The hotel itself was clean & tidy, the breakfasts were lovely & the rooms were nice and cosy. All you need for a small break away. This hotel is close to everything, so close we left the rental car parked up the whole time we stayed in Blackpool. A great place to stay, good food, good hotel and great hosts..
