Hotel is thoroughly recommended but rely on the shuttle service or cabs.

We loved our stay, great place friendly staff. Free drinks at the bar each night and buffet breakfast with wifi all included. The place was a little out of the way but still easily accessible from public transit especially by Canadian standards

Great hotel staff. Truely 5 Star service. Room is very hi tech with own TV in the bath tub. Amazing deal. Location is a bit out of the way but has shuttle service (free) to Sloan Sq which is in heart to London.

This was the best hotel room I have stayed at in London by far, and also the best service. I just didn't care for the location.

Beautiful hotel and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. restaurant excellent. overall good value.

A top quality hotel with excellent friendly, and very efficient service. We had a quiet room with a very comfortable bed and best pillows I've ever slept on!. Wonderful views of the Thames and Heliport kept us entertained when in the room! If I was to nitpick, the empty minibar (can be filled on request) and the almost indecipherable lighting system […] somewhat spoiled the effect, but these are very minor matters. I would give this hotel top marks apart from its' location. Prepare to spend a small fortune on taxi's and cabs as there is no Tube station nearby, and it's a bit of a trek to Clapham Junction overland station. Very modern and stylish hotel riverside in Battersea. A little out of the way from public transport but readily accessible by car (valet parking) and taxi. Very nice hotel run in an exceptional efficient and professional manner. we had a great stay and would return with pleasure in the future.

This is a fabulous hotel just outside central London. Ideal for us as we were going to Battersea,. Elegant, luxurious, quiet. perfect and will look forward to visiting again. You can have a lovely walk along the Thames into London.

Lovely rooms - very sumptuous & every need is catered for. 5 star prices at bar & in restaurant but that has to be expected. Overall very pleased with my choice. Top tip - pre-order cabs as they take a good 20 mins to arrive.

I was less than happy with this place. The first room we got was small and had a crummy view. The TV was not working, either. We complained, and they moved us to a nicer room with a TV that worked. The TV was key because there was a sporting event we wanted to see that was on late at night. Anyway, another problem was that none of the cabbies we rode […] with could find the place. We got dropped off at a place nearby and had to walk a couple blocks with all of our bags. The breakfast was pretty good. I look forward to staying here again. It is a fabulous hotel in Battersea, on the river and next to the heliport. It is a very modern stylish hotel that oozes quality. We were upgraded by hotels.com to a deluxe room due to a mistake on their website, which stated that Metropolitan rooms were accessible, when in fact they are not. The hotel is a bit out of the way. There is a bus stop about 2-3 blocks away. The train station is about 1 mile away past a rough neighborhood. The hotel is luxurious with a freindly staff.

Although Verta is a little bit far from the city center (10 min cab) - its atmosphere compensate.. And overall it was a very good and enjoyable stay. The helicopters add even more to the experience.

I've been lucky enough to stay at the Hotel Verta four times now. I think it is my favourite London hotel (and I have stayed in a fair few). Although its location is rather out of the way, the style, comfort, price, and standards of service more than compensate guests for the effort involved in reaching it. Hotel Verta was extremely comfortable and luxurious, it was very clean and well maintained ..... not something that can easily be found in London. The only possible downside was hotel location, but on a sunny day the river walk into central London was lovely.

The hotel was a great experience from start to finish. Although we had a room overlooking the heliport the most we could hear (with 3 helicopters taking off/landing at the same time) was a noise no louder than a bee's humming. Fab hotel. Awesome rooms with bluetooth speaker systems, TV above the bath, lovely decor and really friendly staff. Amazing breakfast and great views of the river. Valet parking and really great bar. Beautiful hotel and very comfortable. Poor mobile phone reception (in the room I was in on the third floor) which was a bit of a pain! Very modern and clean and the staff were good too.

Hotelli oli erittäin hyvä. Huoneet olivat hyvin varustellut, etenkin kylpyhuone oli erinomainen. Hyvä aamiainen. Ainut miinus siitä, että hotelli ilmeisesti suhteellisen uusi, joten taksien oli hankala löytää perille.

Hotel Verta in London heeft mijn verwachtingen overtroffen. Het personeel was ontzettend behulpzaam en niets is te veel voor ze. Vraag iets en alles wordt prima geregeld! De omgeving van het hotel is heerlijk rustig, hoewel het centrum ongeveer een halfuurtje met de gratis shuttle rijden is. De shuttle is een perfecte service, alleen is er voor de […] terugweg niets geregeld. Gelukkig zijn de bussen in London niet duur en stopt er een bus ongeveer 20 meter vanaf het hotel. Het enige minpunt is het bed. Deze was heel erg groot (king size), maar sliep niet comfortabel. We 'zakten weg' in het bed, om het maar even zo te zeggen. Maravilhoso! Limpo, confortável, cheirosíssimo! Ótimos funcionários, café da manhã muito bom, quartos com tecnologia de ponta. Ponto negativo é a cobrança de estacionamento que é muito cara.

Dejligt flot og moderne hotel. Ligger noget afsides, men der er så til gengæld helt stille og med udsigt til Themsen. Værelserne er vist ret forskellige i størrelse og indretning. Vi blev opgraderet til et Echo-værelse, som ligger i "hjørnet" af den ovale bygning ud til Themsen. Glimrende morgenmad og hyggelig bar med udsigt. Restauranten så indbydende […] ud, vi bestilte dog room-service som var godt. Værelserne er flotte med enkel møblering af høj kvalitet. Sengen var helt perfekt. Der er tænkt over detaljerne. Man kan tilslutte sin computer til det store fladskærms-TV og der er også et TV ved badekarret. Alt er rent og pænt. Bus 44 stopper tæt på og går til Victoria station, men det går meget langsomt i London-trafikken. Det er hurtigere at gå til Clapham Junction (10-15 minutter) og tage toget til Victoria. Der er ikke meget af interesse i gåafstand udover Themsen. Der er dog lidt værtshuse, restauranter og dagligvarebutikker omkring Falcon road mod Clapham Juncation. Hotellet ligger klods op af en helikopterlandingsplads. Beliggenheden er nok bedst, hvis man kommer med helikopter eller i bil. Hvis man bruger offentlig transport, tager det lidt tid at komme til det mere centrale London, så det er ikke et hotel, man lige kommer tilbage til mange gange i løbet af dagen. Le confort et les équipements des chambres exceptionnels. N'hésitez pas lors de votre passage à l'hôtel à profiter du spa, assez fantastique avec sauna, hammam, jacuzzi et solarium. Leider liegt das Hotel alles andere als zentral. Mit dem Taxi in die Innenstadt (Picadilly-Circus) dauert es je nach Verkehr rund 35 Minuten - mit den Bussen ca. 45 MInuten. Die nächste U-Bahn-Station ist nur mit dem Taxi zu erreichen, ein Londoner Bus fährt ca. 20 Gehminuten vom Hotel weg. Das Hotel selber ist sehr schön - Luxus PUR und viel technischer […] Schnickschnack. Aussicht vom Zimmer ist Top, man sieht direkt auf die Themse. Das Hotel wurde im Herbst 2010 eröffnet und ist im Frühjar 2011 leider in Konkurs gelaufen. Seit diesem Zeitpunkt führt eine neue Company den Hotelkomplex und bietet einen sehr guten Service. Der London Heliport liegt direkt neben dem Hotel - manchmal deshalb etwas laut von den vielen Starts und Landungen. Für Business-People zu empfehlen - Taxi ist jedoch ein Muss. もっと読む
