Felt like being on a Tropical Island. Atlantic sjde. Beautiful views with palm trees all over - my kind of place!

The White Sands Inn was described earlier as "funky". Indeed it is. We stayed a week. The quarters are really cramped but clean. The views are wonderful. I would return if they had larger accomadations.

This hotel was very old. It had some problems with the doors not closing (the entry door). It was beach front but it is no beach you can swim in, it's only for the view. It's about a 3 mile drive to any food at the edge of Marathon. It had a full kitchen including oven and a nice patio as well. It was clean and they were nice but I doubt we would stay […] there again as it's just a bit below what we felt like we paid for. Now, having said that, we paid a VERY high rate because we stay Christmas Eve and checked out Christmas day and the small hotel was full. So, if the rates were much lower we might have felt we got a better value also so keep that in mind. The White Sands Inn delivered some of the best views of any of our travels. The low key atmosphere and small size produced an ideal environment. Even with horrible rainy weather, this place is a gem. Very quaint. Must like whimsical key west decor~laid back and bright. Bed was a bit lumpy but I'd still stay here again, next time we'll stay longer and bring our kids. Very beach/boat/water friendly.

This was a very short one night stay for business purposes but it was certainly satisfactory for our needs. We had a tiny room but it had a lovely view and they certainly tried to squeeze every possible convenience into that small place.It was definitely old but clean. We absolutely loved this little place! It was by far the cleanest room we have had in this area for the price range. The staff wasn't in the office, but they were only a phone call away and were very helpful, even allowing us to both check in early and check out late! We have already told friends about it and plan to stay there again in the future.

WAY overpriced. Funky, odd, no service. Our room was not picked up or cleaned during our stay. The pool was clean but the chemicals were so far out of wack that a piece of sterling silver I was wearing turned black after 15 minutes in the pool.

As billed and described. OK location. Can only describe as a camp at best, certainly not a luxury location, but we survived.

The pool was clean, as were the grounds..needs some work on mold. Well stocked kitchen, helpful staff...quiet.

The room we were first given was rather tatty and opened opposite reception. For an extra fee we transferred to the first floor rooms with balcony overlooking the sea. This was absolutely first rate with kitchen and all the necessities. We barbequed each night and enjoyed the sunsets. Clean, quiet, spacious and well appointed. We would not want to stay […] in any of the three ground floor rooms that face sideways. The sea facing ground floor room would have been fine, but the three first floor appartments were so much better, and well worth the extra cost to us! I was very pleased with this hotel. My boyfriend and I wanted to have a quiet relaxing weekend in the keys and that is exactly what we got. It was close enough to good restaurants and parks but far away enough to where it was quiet and peaceful. This is a small hotel that has loads of charm. Friendly staff and clean rooms. We were really happy with the hotel, just make sure to bring your own shampoo. :)

Non è un hôtel, sono camere, con cucina, piatti, posate e pentole, molto carine, direttamente sul mare, favolose palme, piscina e sabbia bianca. Le camere non vengono pulite, né i letti rifatti. Molto bella sistemazione, unico aspetto negativo, di cui occorre essere al corrente: zanzare, o meglio piccolissime terribili zanzarine o pappataci dal quale […] occorre assolutamente proteggersi! Dies war eines der (oder besser DAS) schlechtesten Hotels die ich bisher während eines USA-Aufenthaltes hatte. Für das (viele) bezahlte Geld (wenngleich für Florida-Keys Verhältnisse noch günstig) bekamen wir absolut gar nichts geboten. Es erfolgte weder ein Check-In (Zimmerübergabe erfolgte über kurze telefonische Anweisungen), noch ein Check-Out. […] Vom "Hotelpersonal" haben wir in ca. 2,5 Tagen Aufenthalt niemanden zu Gesicht bekommen. Der Strand und das Hotelinventar waren in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Der Strand hat furchtbar gestunken und war zum baden absolut NICHT geeignet und der vorhandene Pool hatte eher Badewannencharakter. Und die Krönung war, das wir unsere Zimmertür Nachts von innen nicht verschließen konnten (unser Zimmer lag FREI zugänglich im Erdgeschoß zum Strand hin). Alles in allem NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT. Für uns steht fest, das nächste Mal bezahlen wir lieber etwas mehr und steigen in einem Hotel der bekannten Hotelketten ab. もっと読む

Für den Preis ist diese Unterkunft eindeutig zu schmuddlig, die Ausstattung der Küche bezüglich Essgeschirr (war zum Teil schmutzig und mußte vor Benutzung erst mal richtig gesäubert werden) und elektrischen Geräten erinnerte uns stark an billige Ferienwohnungen im Südeuropa der 80er Jahre. Le White Sands est plus un Bed sans Breakfast! mais notre chambre bien que plutôt simple et petite pour 4 personnes , était comfortable . Le cadre de l'hôtel est magnifique:ambiance tropicale, cocotiers, plage de sable blanc, mais des algues à l'odeur nauséabonde rendent la baignade absolument impossible. La piscine , d'où l'on profite de la vue de […] la mer est vraiment très agréable .Nous n'avons vu personne ( ni réceptionniste , ni client ):nous sommes arrivés le soir vers 22 heures , et repartis le lendemain matin vers 9heures 30 .L'absence de petit déjeuner peut être un problème , car c'était notre première nuit après notre vol aller depuis la France, et le site de l'hôtel est relativement isolé excluant toute possibilité de prendre un repas. Nous avons dû rouler un moment pour pouvoir prendre un breakfast.En bref, le cadre est charmant , mais le prix de cet hôtel est un peu disproportionné par rapport aux prestations proposées.
