The rooms have not been up dated and some furniture was worn. Bath tub needed cleaned and I exchanged a wash cloth because it was dirty.

I liked the location. I didnt have to drive far to get to the caverns. The continental breakfast was adequate. I found the front desk to be very accomidating. I assume this is standard policy with all lodging facilities, but be mindful of the 11 am checkout time. This hotel made it convenient to stay at on our way down to Gulf Shores. The breakfast was lacking variety for sure, but for the price we paid, what can you expect? The tile was on the dirty side, but I never saw any critters, so that's a good thing.

Motel lobby & dining room - beautiful. Room looked lovely. Great Pillows. Bed "so-so". A/C-Heat Unit old and no 'off' switch; Bathroom clean except for the corners of the floor. The hotel was right off the highway and close to several eateries, which ws nice. The room was not the cleanest I've ever seen, and I had to pick up several dead water bugs throughout the room (at least they were dead, though). I think that the bed was the hardest bed I've ever slept in, and I woke up in pain because it was so uncomfortable.

With the higher guest rating, I was expecting more. Older hotel (in good shape) no frig in the room (but we got one brought in) and it was just OK.

this hotel was newly renovated. Room was very clean with newish furniture, carpet, etc. bathroom was clean and everything worked well.

This is a pretty good hotel. The room was a bit musty when we got there and the AC is old so if you have allergies you may want to avoid it. The only other complaint is we could barely get a WI-FI signal in the room. Would have expected much better internet access in the room. Breakfast was good and happy about everything else in the hotel.

The hotel had dead bugs all over the room and when we opened the door a bug came running out. We did not stay and checked in at the hotel across the street and the hotel REFUSED to give a refund.

No exhaust fan in the very small bathroom. No refrigerator or microwave in room as advertised. Had a recliner chair in room which was very nice to have.

This hotel was alright for a smaller, cheaper hotel. It was easy to find (right off the highway) and was in a good location to get to all the caves of the region (that was why we vacationed in Cave City). The temperature while we were there was very hot (one day it was over 100) and the air conditioner in the room was too weak to cool the entire room. […] So, it was a bit uncomfortable. Since the doors to each room open to the outside, the rooms are warmer than other hotels where the rooms open to an indoor hallway. The bed was also quite hard. The mattress felt very thin and warn out. But, we were able to sleep decently. The complimentary breakfast was small but not bad. There were bagels, muffins, pastries, two cereals, fruit, juice, and coffee. A microwave was provided but I'm not sure about a toaster. There is a pool and small exercise facility onsite and there was wireless internet in the room. A gas station and a really great Mexican restaurant are next door. もっと読む

the room was very clean and spacious. the bed was a bit to firm but the sheets smelled great and were stark white. the breakfast was a good asortment of danish and bagles muffins and ceral we all enjoyed. the price was great

The hotel quoted me (when I called them) a higher price if I booked through them, so I booked through hotels.com instead. Our room was large (we had a king sized bed), with a bathroom, microwave, coffee pot and grounds, soap and shampoo. We had a hair dryer and cable TV, with a recliner too. When we checked in and went to our room we found that we did not get a fridge or microwave. The front desk person said that not all rooms are guaranteed to have them. I explained that our hotels.com booking said we'd get a fridge and micro. and he restated that not all rooms have it. I asked if he could please get us them and he was able too (found a room with them, and wheeled them over to us). Breakfast was: bagels, oatmeal, cereal, toast, danishes, apples and bananas and juice and coffee. Not too bad. It was help yourself and a huge time frame too, we had like 4 hours in the a.m. to go eat. It is close to town (tourist shops and attractions) and approx. 10 miles from Mammoth Cave. After reading several reviews of this motel our family was quite surprised to find a very clean recently upgraded motel with very comfortable beds and a wonderful outdoor pool. Cave City itself is a bit run down but if you are planning on visiting Mammoth Cave we would recommend this motel for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Layout of the rooms very nice, easy access to pool. Room was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice stay. Would recommend to others .

My mother and I stayed at this hotel July 20-22ng (2011) while visiting Mammoth Cave. The room was clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was decent. Didn't use the pool or exercise room, so I can't comment on that. It's not fancy, but it served our purpose. It was a good value as well.

Days Inn Cave City, Kentucky. I went to Central Kentucky to see the sights (Mammoth Cave, American Cave Museum, Diamond Caverns). I needed a place to crash for the night. The only thing this hotel needs are mini fridges.

You get what you pay for. The old many behind the counter was complaining that he had done this job by himself for years but now they're making someone work with him. Our non-smoking room had obviously been smoked in recently. the mat on the floor of the shower was dirty, mold on the grout between tiles. the tile on the bathroom floor was brown with […] dirt in 3 of the 4 corners and along the walls.there's not alot of choice for hotels in Cave City, but if i come back, i'm not sure i'd stay here again. もっと読む

the room was ok for the price but the air conditioner did not work well. The water in the swimming pool was like warm bath water. The location was excellent.

My son commented on this being a great place to stay. we all found it to be a very good place to stay. We even had a mini fridge and a microwave in the room, this was a pleasent suprise.The pool area was in great shape and very relaxing. Weird smell, but it looked clean and the carpet was new. Ok continental breakfast for the price of the hotel.

Hotel staff was excellent, even with our VERY late arrival (almost 2am). Room appeared to have been redone relatively recently and everything was in pretty good condition. Clean and odor free. The hotel was nice but Cave City is run down and all of their attractions were either not in business any more or they rolled up the welcome mat and closed at 6:00pm.

the only problem was the internet did not work in the room

The only complaint I have was that the wifi did not work in my room. I had to go to the lobby to connect to the internet. Otherwise, it was a decent hotel.

This budget hotel was all we expected during our trip to Cave-opolis. Good location and inexpensive. The management said the hotel was currently under renovation, so expect things to get better.

This was the worst stay that we had on our vacation. The ac was broken so instaed of moving us to another rm that had ac they told us not to turn it up, so we were sweltering for 2 days. We had a non smoking rm but the rm by us vented into our rm and it smelled of smoke horribly.
