空港に近いCAN PASTIILA地区にある。白砂のビーチが真正面にあり海水浴に最適な立地で周辺の環境もよい。レストラン、バーラウンジ、フィットネスクラブなどはこのクラスのホテルとしては充実している。部屋とテラスは広く清潔感もあるが、設備やアメニティーは並みで防音には改善の余地あり。従業員の対応はよく子供連れでも気持ちよく過ごせる。

The location and service were great. The breakfast buffet and the dinner buffets were good with a great deal of variety. The only drawback of this hotel is that the bedding is really hard. If you love a hard mattress, I'd say go for it....if it bothers your back, it would be best to avoid staying here.

Perfect location, right across from the beach, amazing views of the bay. Excellent balconies, plenty of places to eat nearby. 10 mins from the airport. Hotel has its own parking area which is useful as the area is very short of parking spaces. Room basic and bed quite firm. The hotel was conveniently located, 5 minute from the airport by car, and right at the beach front. Although the room I got was facing the side street, there were rooms with balconies facing the sea, and the view from those rooms looked fabulous. The hotel room I got was simple, small, with a small bed, but it had everything you would normally find […] in an american 3-star hotel, including the TV, hair dryer, and fridge. You had to pay extra for the use of the safe, maybe 3 euros per day. Towel service (for the pool or beach) was free, but required a 12 euro deposit per towel, totally worthwhile. Also, even after checkout, I was able to enjoy the swimming pool and the lounge chair, and because they had in the basement an indoor pool and sauna, I was also able to take a shower in the basement bathroom (before my flight). Breakfast is excellent as this place, with lots of choices of cold cuts, fruits, juices, and eggs in various styles, certainly one of the best breakfast buffets I have enjoyed in the world. TV didn't work. It was that or I didn't know how to use it. No internet from the hotel room. Apart from that it was a good hotel at a convenient location.

The El Cid is in a good location, specifically if you're a German tourist. It is in the part of town where the majority of Germans holiday. There is a very convenient bus stop across the street that will take you into Palma in about 15 minutes. It will also get you to the airport in just a few minutes. There is also a trolley that will take you down […] the beach to S'Arenal. The area around the hotel has plenty of restaurants but it's a slightly older crowd (like 50s - 60s) so if you're looking for clubs, you might want to head over to Magaluf or down further to S'Arenal. The hotel itself was clean but very outdated. It was well maintained but again, in need of a remodel. The pool areas were very nice and it's right next to the beach, which is convenient. The beds are quite hard and a king bed is two twins pushed together. The rooms are large but slightly outdated but the balconies are very nice, especially since we had one overlooking the beach. The acoustics in the hotel are terrible. It's very loud as it's tile floored and the cleaning ladies in the morning moving furniture around in the rooms above us was very loud. Also, we could hear the man in the next room snoring all night. There's a bit of noise from the street but the noise in the hotel itself is worse. We got half board and the breakfast was very good. It's a huge buffet and there's something for everyone. Overall, the hotel was very convenient as a base from which to explore the island and to the beach but I wasn't a huge fan otherwise. Had it been more quiet, I could have looked past the outdated decor and bathroom. The staff however was very friendly and fluent in English. We have stayed at the El Cid once before and loved it then too More expensive than other hotels in Can Pastilla but worth it if you can afford it. Myself and my husband stayed in Majorca for 4 days at Hotel Helios then did a cruise round the Med leaving from Palma. On our return we booked the Hotel El Cid for our las night. If money were no object we […] would book the El Cid everytime, though the Helios is also fab! The location can't be beaten-right on the beautiful beach. When we booked in we were given room 403 which turned out to be a suite although we had only booked a standard room. It was lovely, bedroom, lounge, bathroom and three balconies!!! Nice hotel, well situated, good breakfeast, wifi could not ask for more

location is beachfront and several good restaurants are closeby. Walk along the beach is good, but watch out for bikes and joggers. Glad to have a GPS because it was hard to find the first time. Bus transportation is very readily accessible and easy to use. The hotel is close to the airport and other major roadways.

Fint hotel. God afstand til lufthavnen. God mad.

Trevligt fräscht hotell med utskt över strand, kit-surfare och folkvimmel längs med strandpromenaden. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Frukost och middagsbuffen på hotellet var mycket bra och med stort utbud. - Rummen var väldigt lyhörda och lite mer underhållning på kvällarna hade uppskattats. Två nöjda gäster. Tack!

Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt. Große Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, Frühstück war absolut in Ordnung. Lage super, wenn man sofort an den Strand möchte. Die Nähe zum Flughafen war für uns ideal, Fluglärm hört man nur schwach.

The hotel is really comfortable with excellent pools and very close to the beach. The beach, however, is not the best you can imagine. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The area is not very good - the restaurants closeby were rather uncharming. We only stayed for one night, so we only tried one restaurant. прекрасно подойдет тем, кто хочет спокойно провести свой отпуск. хороший пляж, вполне нормальная кухня. были в середине сентября - делать нечего, в 12 ночи все уже закрыто. в отеле отдыхали в основном люди в возрасте - для них там рай ))

Flott plassert ved stranden i et litt roligere område enn lenger bort på stranden hvor det var mer ungdommer og festing. Stort og fint rom, men veldig hard seng. Ble imidlertid byttet med en gang vi ba om det, men den var ganske hard den også. Alle rom har utsikt mot sjøen, noe som er veldig hyggelig. Allt var bra på hotellet förutom att det var mycket lyhört på rummen.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus in ruhiger aber denoch zentraler Lage. Sauberkeit wird hier groß geschrieben.

Für zwei Nächte mit Freunden war das Hotel wirklich in Ordnung. Das Essen war leider ungeniessbar.Die Lage ist super,nicht weit vom Flughafen mit dem lokalen Bus erreichbar.Sauberkeit und Komfort waren auch gut.Beim Aufzug sollte man aufpassen,die Türen schliessen so schnell dass man sich leicht verletzt.

Hyggeligt hotel med god udsigt og beliggenhed "på" stranden og dog tæt på Palma. Godt pool-område med god betjening, der kunne dog godt være lidt flere parasoller. Fine værelser, men sengene er meget hårde.

Rent & fräscht hotell, fin stor frukost, super läge, direkt på stranden och nära till flygplatsen. Återvänder i september igen! I & M

Lytt på rommenen

Hotellet er fantastisk, alt var pænt og rent dog er det trist når man bestiller tre værelser at det ikke kan lade sig gøre at de ligger nogenlunde i nærheden af hinanden. De to kvindelige ( ældre damer der serverede i restauranten var direkte uforskammet hver eneste dag) alle andre tjenere var meget høflige og søde.. Det er ikke nemt at være ryger […] på dette hotel, det var ikke muligt at tage sin morgenkaffe med udenfor og ryge en smøg til. Du skal gå ind i baren og betale for kaffen, hvis du skal have den med udenfor... det er ganske ringe.. Morgenmaden kunne du heller ikke indtage udenfor på teressen... Svimmingpoolen blev støvsuget og rengjort en gang på de 8 dage vi var der, det flød med gamle aviser og snavs i poolen, det var ikke lækkert. Dette hotel er meget meget tysker venligt, og danskerne har ikke en særlig stor stjerne på dette hotel,det skal man lige vide inden man vælger dette hotel. もっと読む

Är du ute efter ett grymt bra läge precis vid stranden och pool och bar-bord med utsikt över stranden? Ja, då är det perfekt. Men, priset är högt och för att ha 4 stjärnor är rummen små (i alla fall det jag fick), kvalitén på rummet höll max 3 stjärnor. Välstädat dock. Frukosten mycket bra. Rum 314- gardinerna måste vara stängda hela tiden pga otroligt mycket insyn från grannar. Ingen sol når balkongen. Bedrövligt rum pga detta.

Et trivelig hotell, med bra beliggenhet. Kun 50 meter fra sjøen, med flott strandpromenade ved siden av. Alle rom med sjøutsikt. Anbefaler å få rom på solsiden på denne tiden av året, oktober. Rommene var rene og koselig, med bra terrasse. Det som var negativt var at det var utrolig lytt mellom rommene. Veldig imøtekommende og koselig personalet. To […] fine basseng områder, vi falt for det som lå litt på baksiden, mindre og enda triveligere omgivelser. Veldig sentralt og lett å forflytte seg. Gikk buss til Palma hvert 10 min. Tok ikke mange minuttene inn dit hvis vi fikk bussen som brukte motorveien. Dette er et hotell jeg gjerne kan anbefale videre. もっと読む

Meget bra hotell med topp beliggenhet. Buss til Palma og flyplass rett rundt hjørnet, 100 meter til havet og glimrende strand, plenty med barer, kafeer og småbutikker langs strandpromenaden. The usual. Meget bra frokost, lunsj og middag! (bufe). Fine fellesområder. Safe for liten for 15´´ laptop, dessuten nøkkel og 2,5 euro døgnet. Ikke wifi på rommet. […] Dusjløsning på rommet lite gjennomtenkt (vannskade på dørkarm og dør...). Balkong kanskje litt lite privat. Men ellers veldig bra fire stjerners og veldig mye for pengene. At check in, the receptionist was grumpy. We paid extra for a room with a sea view, but had to lean over the balcony railing for a glimpse of the sea. The room didn't have a minibar, but a small, empty refrigerator, that didn't even work. The hotel does not provide roomservice at night, in spite of the lack of a minibar, so when I went to the reception […] one night, neat and sober, to buy some water, the receptionist treated me like I crawled in from the streets, asking me if I really thought he was running a bar back there. Ended up walking out in the rain to get water myself. To add to the poor service and facilities, the beds were almost as hard as the floor. El Ci bra läge, bra mat, underbar balkong mot havet. Perfekt läge, närhet till stranden och storstadens shopping och sevärdheter.

Fantasktiskt läge direkt på stranden, trevlig personal i matsalen.Vi hade bokat halvpension och åt frukost + lunch. Jättebra frukost och mycket bra lunch. Stora och bra rum med fin terrass mot poolen och havet, kan man bo bättre?

Super! personnel tres sympa chambre tres propre, buffet tres copieux matin et soir! face a la plage! j'y retournerai. petit bemol chambre mal insonorisé mais bon c'est quasiment tout les hotels de l ile qui sont comme ça!
