The inn has a nice location on the river (as long as you're on that side!) and the rooms are not fancy and a little cramped, but not bad, although the biggest beef we had was that the windows didn't open and it smelled a bit as if there had been a smoker in that room at some point, so that wasn't as nice as it could have been. We were not happy with the layout of the room, did not like the open/ vanity/ entrance, the rest of the room was fine the view must be pretty in the summer, would have been nice with a sundeck. This hotel is obviously loved by its owners. They supply barbecue grills and picnic tables so people can enjoy the river front. We travel a lot and spend out time mostly in 4 and 5 star hotels. We love the Riverland. It's a perfect little spot. Our only really teeny complaint is that the coffee maker hadn't been emptied and cleaned from the previous guests so I inadvertently spilled the coffee and had to use a white hand towel to clean up the mess.
