when we checked in our bathroom had a dirty towel hanging in it, they need to let their housekeepers know when people are checking out because we figured out why they keep having this problem. you can hang your used towel on the hook and they will leave it for you to reuse but unfortunately the housekeepers must not know when you are checking out. The hotel initially assigned us the wrong room, then placed the blame on Hotels.com. But after speaking with the general manager, she changed the room to the one that was originally booked. The front desk clerk had no personality whatsoever. The continental breakfast area was very small, not well stocked, and had limited variety.

This is a great hotel if you want to stay on the cheap. Our room keys stopped working one night and it took about 40 minutes for the line at the front desk to get taken care of before we could get back in our room. That was the only hiccup for our 4 night stay. Would stay again.

Good access to major highways and the airport Reasonable price Continental breakfast --fair Rooms clean and well maintained

the rooms were not very sound proof, could hear the people next to us without any trouble.

This place was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

One of the best values i've ever booked on this site.

Will say this was very nice and the price was great very clean look just like pics did not haw a chance to check out the breakfast :( so can't tell ya on that one... Great stay will stay again if ever in th area... Btw hubby was not to happy when I told him I booked at micro.. He was very impressed with the stay lol

The hotel was relatively nice, new with comfortable beds and rooms, but the staff was so incredibly rude and inappropriate (the desk clerk and two housekeepers had a screaming match in the lobby, refused to replace towels, wouldn't answer questions about local area, etc.) that I would never stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone.

We could hear doors slamming til after midnight. The biggest problem was the bathroom. We were given a handicapped room for some reason. There was no counter space in bathroom for our stuff. The shower had a hand held sprayer so the water flow was minimal. The carpet was badly stained in the room.

No fridge like in advertisement

Was a very nice hotel only down fall was that it is not located close to any food but they do have shuttle that will take you to some close by.

I regularly book my employees all over the US. I was very pleasantly surprised by the review I received from our technician. He said that everythign was great, the breakfast was light but he doens't eat a big one anyway, it was very quite and clean!! Hotel has been updated. I would book my futere employees here any time.

The room was small but very modern, comfortable, and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel even if it is not the closest one to your destination. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

I enjoyed my stay at the microtel, it was convenient and comfortable for me. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Staff was very accommodating; room comfy; halls had overwhelming smell of smoke- not in the room though; easy access; priced right for the area.

I know why they call it Micro tell. You almost had to jump from the bed to the bathroom. I came in late for a two night stay. I was relocating here and my housing was not ready. As a result I had the dog with me. The site said "pet friendly" What they did not tell me was there was a weight limit and there was a 30$ per night charge. I really enjoyed my stay at the Microtel Inn. The room was very cozy and the front desk clerks was very nice. I only thing that was missing was a small refrigerator in my room. I will be staying here again in a larger room.

The hotel room is very clean overall. I always prefer white comforter and white bed sheet for the cleanness. The only thing is that the hotel room uses white light and it's very bright like an office. There is also a huge long mirror above the headboard across the room. we really didn't know what to expect coming in from out of town and making a reservation on live! But it turned out to be great, the location was easy to get to and check in was easy. Our room was clean and comfy and appreciated getting coffee in the morning. Sure we will stayk there again!

We stayed at this hotel for an LSU game which means we were not spending much time there. First off, when we checked in they sent us to a room bed unmade from night before with dirty sheets, the people from the night before food and it was just plain nasty! This hotel was comfortable and convenient. The staff was friendly and prompt in filling any requests we made. The pool was small but adequate. Restaurants are close by and the building is secure.

We had a suite and everything was wonderful. From the time we arrived at 1am until the time we left, everyone we came into contact with was very friendly. Room was very clean, and the front desk gave us extra towels when we requested them. We will be back!

Checking in was a little confusing but I was upset. I was in Baton Rouge for my brother who was dying of cancer. The staff at the desk was wonderful checking me in through my tears. The only negative thing about the hotel was that the elevator was very slow and very warm. We got there at 10:30 pm, exhausted after driving 6 hours - all we wanted was to go to bed. Our room was clean but the AC wasn't working. They immediately gave us another room. Hotel was located very closely to the airport which was nice. However, the website said they offered a free shuttle to and from the airport and does not list any days that that doesnt apply to. I left on a saturday morning and apparently the shuttle doesnt run on Saturdays. That was misleading!! Also, the shower had hair in it which is absolutely disgusting […] to me!!! I had a hard time feeling comfortable and getting to sleep because I felt like if I could see visable hair in the shower what other unsanitary issue could be there that I didnt see?!! We chose this hotel to accommodate a family of 5, close to airport with complimentary shuttle service. the lady at the front desk is marvelous, she was ALONE and overworked, the poor lady. The bad: The room smelled sour, mildewy, like vomit and urine. ALL NIGHT there was noise, slamming of doors, screaming, etc. nothing else to say.

The hotel is no frills..but clean and very convenient to the airport. I'm not sure I would choose it for an extended stay but for a night or two it was great for the price. Small room but everything was very clean.

My father in law, wife and me had rooms. My wife's father's room had an air unit that was loud and substandard. The elevator (1) for the whole big hotel was slow and jerky and the fire alarm went off twice when where there. Nice and early in the morning.
