Its a little old style hotel with minimum facilities. Bed cover should be clean.Front desk management is curtious and gentle. In context with rent it is affordable.

This is a old Inn, but it is very clean and comfortable. There is no breakfast but Tim Hortons is just down the road and they offer complementary tea and coffee in the lobby. Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean but very outdated. Linens were quite worn. Updating linens and decor would go a long way to upgrading the ratings. A short walk to the WEGO bus system which takes you to many Niagara Falls points of interest.

Manager Mr. Angelo was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Only problem was that, there was no control of air cooler, so room became very chilled. It was only 10 minutes walking to falls.

Hotel was a lil dated but very clean. Staff was very friendly. We had no complaints what so ever about this hotel. Was within 10mins walk from both hotels and Clifton hill. Would not hesitate to book here again the next time we need a hotel at the Falls.

Very attentive staff. Rooms are dark and dismal, but very quiet and clean. Air conditioning is loud and outdated. Hotel is a good value for the money, considering the other properties in the area.

Great price and very friendly desk clerk. Our room was huge and clean. It takes about 5 min. to walk to the Niagara Falls. If you decide to go to this hotel, there is a delicious italian bakery close-by.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night this place is really not that bad. The location was great, only a short walk from the falls and other attractions. We ran into one small problem when we went to return our key to the main office there was no drop box and no one there, the door was locked.

I think the bathrooms could use a remodeling, but otherwise the bathroom was very clean. The shower had a good pressure and the water heated quickly. The soap provided was very drying to my skin, so I would bring my own from home next time. The beds were clean with nice fresh white sheets - no stains and no bugs. The parking is free and the internet at the Ramada across the street is available at no cost(no password)!!! I really liked our room on the second floor by the back door. There is no elevator, but we didn't mind taking the stairs! Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone else who is looking to getaway on a budget. Even though we stayed for only one night, it was a great stay. We met Angelo at the reception desk. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He was one of the main reasons we got a positive impression of the hotel. He also allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel until we got back at the end of the day.

For the price of this hotel you cannot get any better. I did not nor expect the spas, gyms, etc. of the pricier hotels. I wanted something clean, close and cheap and that is exactly what I got. The pool was small but it was the cleanest pool I have seen in my travel of 30 years!! The $100 I saved every day, was my money for the casinos. YeHaw!!!!

The Diplomat was chosen for the low price, but I couldn't have been happier with the accomodations. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Entire motel was extremely clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this motel to anyone!

The service at the Diplomat is very friendly. They were very accomodating, letting us use their pool outside the regular posted hours and offering us free late checkout if we wanted it. It's by no means a very modern hotel, but everything was clean, the AC worked, and overall we slept comfortably.
