The hotel was close to everything I need to go. It was 100X's better than the Travel Lodge in Port Aransas. Thanks for having this Hotel on Your listing. Very Clean

Too much air freshner, plus it smells of cheap air freshner. What were they trying to cover up? Would not stay there again. If you love cheap smelling air freshner...heavy smell...then this is your place...

Crickets were rampant in the room and bathroom. the bathroom tissue could easily be replaced with the Sears Catalog, and the towels were like drying with sandpaper. We arrived before normal check in time and were admonished for it. I told the clerk if the room wasn't ready we would check in later, however, the room was ready....go figure? The room was clean, the bed a little firm, all amenities worked, price was way low. Overall a very good place for a short stay.

Bad customer service and their a rip off Rr

We travel extensively and were pleasantly surprised that this hotel was immaculate, quiet and comfortable. I was surprised because it only had 2 stars on the website. It should have 5.

Hotel staff was very rude, they were also very un sanitary

only problem is there were dead crickets in the corner of my room. I read that same issue in another review, so the hotel my want to mention to their housekeeprs to vacuum better

Overall, the hotel was OK. I'm pretty low-maintenance. It was conveniently located, not too expensive, and generally comfortable. The on-site managers (husband and wife?) were not very friendly people at all. They glared at me when I took an apple and a danish to my room from breakfast (why can't I take a food item from breakfast to my room??), said […] nasty things to my child and a friend of his when they were playing outside ("this is a hotel, not a playroom, go to your room if you want to play!!"), and at one point got into a real yelling argument with one another. Not a completely bad experience, however when we called for several deal crickets on the floor, were asked if we could wait until in the morning when the housekeeper could clean them up. Interesting since they had been there all day, even after (s)he, allegedly cleaned. One evening the towels and coffee were not replenished, nor was the bath mat or […] the empty tissue box replaced, and an empty plastic bag was left in one one the drawers of the dresser. I was very pleased with my stay. My room was large, spotless, and comfortable. Even though it was close to a highway and my window faced that highway, I didn't notice the traffic noise at all. The bed was very comfortable I slept well. The hotel staff was very courteous and checkout was quick the next morning. Breakfast was nice-standard continental […] fare. The hotel is ok. I'm not a very picky person - if the hotel is clean and the service is good, I'm happy. I don't need a lot of luxuries, but I probably won't stay here again. It's a fairly new hotel, so the room was clean and in good condition, but the service is lacking. I chose this hotel because I was going to be in town for 5 days and wanted a […] fridge/microwave so I wouldn't have to eat at restaurants every evening, and also because it offered a fitness center, which would allow me to continue my walking routine. However, I was disappointed to find out that the "fitness center" only has 1 weight machine and an elyptical machine. Also, my microwave was broken for 3 days before it was finally exchanged. However, on the first day, the manager did give me a key to use a microwave in another room :o( Also, the first time housekeeping was in my room, I returned to find out they took the towels I had used, but didn't leave any new ones. On the positive side, the hotel does offer a minimal continental breakfast with waffles, free wireless internet, a small pool, and a "business center" with one computer for guests to use. Female manager "very" rude to my wife upon check in. Appeared to not care for our means of obtaining our room and it's rate. We do like to use Hotel.com anyway. Thank you.
