We were across the hall from a smoking room. I did not realize there were still smoking rooms. If that is the case they should have better ventilation as you would have thought they were smoking in our room.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, water was hot, and the place was a ten-minute walk away from my son's apartment. That's all I wanted. Decor was pedestrian and halls were dingy, so it wasn't a place to hang out, but it was a great place to bathe and sleep.

What ever happened to customer service? We arrived into town early and asked for early check in. Owner was rude. Insisted no one can check in early. I was charged a 500 dollar deposit two days after taking the room even though I had already paid for the room. The manager was very arguementative when i complained and demanded i retract my complaint to the Days Inn corporate office a few days later even though it isn't their policy. Great value stay and the hotel is in the process of being updated, but it was not an inconvenience. I left an item and the room and the staff notified me right away and was very helpful in assisting with the return process.
