It was a great place except for the kids across the hall at 11:30 at night slamming the door every 2 to 3 minutes. Other than that was a great stay

We stayed here prior to our cruise out of Galveston. This was a clean hotel, close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to freeway and quick "home base" between Hobby airport and cruise ship port at a reasonable price compared to Galveston hotels!

I've now stayed twice at this hotel and was very pleased with the accomodations. It is the first and second time I've ever stayed at a Holiday Inn, and was pleasantly surprised at how updated the room was, as well as the inclusion of a microwave and small fridge. This room was more then i can ever ask for, it is so freakin' huge, and nice, clean, everything is updated, and worth every dollar, love the location, right across from the greyhound dog races, and next door is a jack in the box, very nice.. didnt want to leave :)

The hotel is about a 20 - 30 minute drive from Galveston Island. The rates were cheaper than actually staying in on the island and a good drive to Houston. The check in and out was breezy and the room was quite COMFORTABLE. They have upgraded the ammenites such as a large flat screen and big shower heads. I will be going back soon.

Stay here every time I come in to town.

REMOTE IN MY DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. DONT STAY HERE FOR THE BREAKFAST, NOT THAT GOOD. GET RID OF THE PANCAKE MACHINE AND GET A WAFFLE MAKER.

My stay at Holiday Inn Express was wonderful included great people, comfortable room, a pleasant area for breakfast. I was greeted every morning by the hotel staff with a friendly smile.

My wife and 2 kids had a very enjoyable experience while our stay. The room was clean, quiet, big and comfortable. The entire staff was very friendly. I even had car trouble the next morning and the clerk took time to find someone with jumper cables and she even used her car to help me. I was very relieved after this. This hotel was very nice, highly recommended. Very clean, quiet. The free breakfast was always good. Staff was very nice. When you did leave your room, it was immaculate when you came back. The housekeepers never missed.

Very clean and convenient. Easy commute to Houston Hobby airport, Galveston Island, NASA, and Clear Lake & Kemah. Close to shopping. Very clean and nice pool area.

The front desk staff was most pleasant and accommodating. We were in town for a funeral and she was very kind.

My wife and I stayed here as it was near the coast but not outrageously priced. The staff was nice, the breakfast was.... free so I can't say too much. The issue was, when there was a lot of activity in the hallways it was readily apparent in the room. Just checking into this hotel was pleasant! Our room was ready early, spotless and one of the nicest I've ever been in. The staff was kind, friendly, helpful; there's nothing bad to be said about them! The first morning of our stay we were woken up early due to our floor being overrun by high school cheerleaders slamming doors before 7am but one phone […] call to the front desk took care of that! After coming back from a long day on the island, housekeeping had already visited and the room was immaculate again. The only other problem was that we were charged twice for our stay but after a quick phone call, one of the charges was reversed within a couple of hours. I highly recommend staying here. It's a short 20 minute drive to Galveston and much, much less expensive than staying in a hotel on the island itself. Hotel was fine--but elevators were dirty w/handprints on the walls... overall staff was friendly-even though we had to wait for a room alimost 20 minutes passed 3 check in time--then the front desk gave us a room which was dirty--had not been cleaned yet!! afterwards eveything else was fine!!!

The hotel and my room in particular was very clean. We have no complaints.

The front desk person was very friendly and greeted us with a smile at time of checking-in. They were very instrumental as to where I was going to dine with my wife as our "date night". Will return in the future. The room was very clean and the breakfast very good.

This was out 1st stay at this Hotel. It was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. It is in the perfect location for those visiting Galveston or Kemah. There is a Wal-mart and everything you could need just an exit over. We loved our stay and plan to return soon.

This was a great experience in a great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had just driven 11 hours and they quickly got us in our room and made us feel welcome. This was a very nice hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The rooms are a nice size which makes it so nice to not be stuffed into a hotel room.

My husband, daughter and I stayed very comfortably in the standard room for a pretty affordable price. I thought for the location being 20 minutes away from Galveston it should've been a bit less costly, but it was a much better rate than the awful hotels on Galveston Island (not all of the hotels are awful, but some of them really are.)
