The room was nice and clean,but over priced for what it was.A couple of the male members of the hotel staff need a few lessons in being polite with-out being condecending.

This hotel compares very favourably to others of like standard. Room was clean, bed comfy and view - Wellington buildings and hills, so all good.

First class in every respect. Great location near train station and walking distance to all the major Wellington sights plus restaurants.

My son and I had a lovely night stay here. The room was extremly clean and the staff were fanstastic - nothing was too much problem. The location is wonderful and we would certainly stay there again.

Lovely staff, room service not great food - but often the case in hotels. Aircon needed cleaning as it did not cool corner room in afternoon. Enjoyed choice of pillows menu Bed comfy Good value for room Pool lovely to use

Great value for money Perfect location, close to everything. The closest Supermarket is inside Central Station (3 mins walking from the hotel). 2 minutes to the shops and 20 to the pubs/restorants areas. Hotel is fine- we got a good deal and had a kitchenette so didn't have to pay for breakfast. Room quite small but adequate for a short stay. Bizarre frosted but see-through glass wall next to toilet- I would only go with someone you are comfortable seeing sat on the loo! Lovely Hotel, location was very good. Only a short walk to the heart of the city which was a lovely walk and close to the waterfront. The bed was incredibly comfortable, good interior, very clean and presentable. Downstairs bar is very relaxing and modern. The hotel helped make our stay just perfect!!

We had an enjoyable stay. The sauna, pool and spa were what caught my eye and I enjoyed them all during my stay. The room was perfect and modern with comfy beds and a pillow menu to order a pillow to suit your needs. Perfect!! The staff were very helpful and friendly, I would stay again. Thank you.

We were pleased with the hotel room as it was spacious and very 'upscale' for our expectations. As Rydges recently took over from the former owner, we felt indulged. We were disappointed with the restaurant service as we waited over 45 minutes for our meal and there was only one other customer in the place. No apologies or excuses were made.
