決して豪華ではありませんが、清潔で、冷蔵庫やコーヒーポットやセイフティーボックス等の設備が一通りそろっていて、安心して快適に過ごせるホテルです。特にうれしかったのは以下の３点。①フロントで日本語で対応して頂けること。観光地への行き方についても気軽に相談できました。②近くに身近なお店が揃っていること。すぐ横の小路の奥に日本人向けスーパーやパン屋さん等があり、滞在中の買い物にはとても便利。③交通に便利なこと。メトロ・ゴールドラインのリトルトーキョー駅からほんの３～４分。レッドライン・パープルラインのシビックセンター駅までも７～８分。平日昼間ならＤＡＳＨも便利です。個人で少し滞在しながら、電車やバスを使って観光して回りたい方にお勧めです。英語に自信のない方には特に。一つアドバスですが、メトロは路線ごとに＄1.5の定額料金なので、ユニオン駅～リトルトーキョー駅の一駅でも＄1.5かかってしまいます。リトルトーキョー駅を起点に観光する場合は、１日券($5)）がお勧めです。

友人と卒業旅行に使わせてもらいました！ サンタモニカのプロムナードへはホテル近くのバスストップからバスを使えば15分ほどで行けるので便利でした！

アメリカの標準的なホテルで快適でした。朝食のワッフルっも美味しかったです。近所にはギリシャ料理レストランとバーガーキングくらいしか食べるところがなく、車がないとどこにも行けないですね。

"A place to stay"
The stay had no blips or anything to complain about. It wasn't spectacular but it had all the amenities that were needed. This was the second time staying at this hotel and we actually got the exact same room both times. So no real complaint since we enjoyed our room the first time. The ONLY complain I have is that I noticed there was a gatorade bottle and soda can under the bed close to the head of the bed. "How to tell you're in a seedy hotel..."
1. When there's a "trick" to turning on your shower, of which apparently only the front desk clerk knows about. 2. When your hotel bed is so excruciatingly hard, where you'd be better off sleeping on the floor as opposed to the bed itself. 3. When you have to yet again employ trickery to ensure that the light socket is completely secured flush to […] the fall, and not falling out (wires exposed and all) in order to have your phone charged. 4. When you begin to question whether or not another shower is needed after your brief night of "sleep," because the cleanliness of the bedding is bringing out doubts. As you can guess from above, this is not a recommendable hotel. You actually get far below the value of what you pay for a night's stay. "Days Inn Pasadena - OK. But not awesome."
pro: 1. The breakfast provide was ok.. 2. Everything in the room works as expected. Con: I had reserved a room with 2 double beds on hotels.com. "pleasantly surprised"
After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit worried about staying at this hotel. However, I was relieved to find out that the only complaint I would agree with is that there is not ample on site parking, which forces many people to park on the street. While older, the hotel is well maintained and is inviting from the outside. The rooms are big enough […] and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows(5 for a king). Although the hotel is on a busy street and not very far from the interstate, it wasn't very noticeable once the door was shut. The walls are a little thin, but that is common in older hotels. The bathroom is nice and I do like that the sink and vanity is seperate from the shower and toilet, there by allowing two people to get ready at the same time if needed. The microwave and the fridge worked very well. There is a restaurant(Coco's) just a couple blocks away. A nice hamburger spot(Tops) less than a block away and a gas station/store just beyond that. "Crach head stabbing"
I am not sure if this is a typical thing for this particular hotel, but there were some rough characters staying at this hotel. I noticed a guy with a lot of tattoos standing in his open doorway smoking when I went to my room just 2 doors down. Now tattoos are fine and all, but this guy had them on his eyelids! Ouch. Not to mention he was missing half […] of his teeth. Here is the kicker though. The next time I saw him the following morning, he was layed out on a stretcher and being loade into an ambulance in the hotel carport. There were about 5 police cars also and a fire truck. I had to answer police questions too since the man had apparently been stabbed in his room. On a happier note, my room was so well insulated, I didn't hear a thing. That was an accurate statement - there is a strong smell in the rooms, but I can't tell what it is.When I turned the air conditioner on to freshen up the room, the smell from that was worse. It was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in in a long time. Usually I wake up with a horrible backache when staying in a hotel, but I did not have any back pain the first two nights (stayed 3 nights). That was a blessing.
