The inn is lovely and in a good location. However, the air-conditioning cannot be adjusted individually per room so that we were dreadfully cold most of the time. At night, we had to wear two woollen jumpers ... in July! But then again, most people did not seem to mind.

Fantastic trip. The breakfast was great and Evelyne was a great hostess. The Inn was very clean and in a great location, close to the port and all the shops & restaurants. Centrally located, the Almondy Inn was a comfortable experience with in a newly modernized B&B filled with antiques. Our Burgundy Suite had a small but modernized bathroom plus living room and marvelous bedroom with a King sized bed. Our hostess, Evelyn was attentive and gracious.

I am very pleased with my experience at Almondy Inn. The inn is conveniently located within walking distance of Newport's main shopping and restaurants and also provides ample private parking space. The Almondy was a perfect choice for us. 1 Block from the wharf area of shopping, restaurants of many types, and the coast for a drink on the water or for chartering a sailboat ride.
