Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. All rooms have a great view of the beach - you couldn't be closer without washing away. Nice, but relatively small, pool. VERY friendly staff. Went above and beyond to accomadate us and even provided us with refreshments at beachside restaraunt WELL after kitchen and lounge were closed. With ideal temperature/weather, we slept with the sliding door open all night listening to the sound of the surf that was quite literally at our feet. The hotel is on the beach; one of the few in Ft. Lauderdale in this location. The room was very large with a king-size bed; perfect accommodations. We really enjoyed our stay; the food was good. The people were great. we were in 923; if we were to change anything it would be the corners of the foot of the bed. I hit my knee on it a number of times. Even bled once. Overall we had a great time!

I was in Ft Lauderdale for a lacrosse tournament. I brought my family and with the beach front location I got to play lacrosse and my kids play all day at the beach. Everybody won. Perfect for anyone who love to watch romantic sunrise write from the bed,owerlooking ocen view and love to listen sound of the ocean,because you are for real !!! write on the beach......just make sure you have the balcony facing to east ....I will be back one day again :)

Two couples/two rooms. Very comfortable with a million dollar view of sunrise/sunset. Clean hotel, beach access and tidy beachfront. Quiet, well stocked rooms, very excellent check-in/check-out services. All staff welcoming. Nice, clean pool situated in central location. Would definately stay there again, and definately recommend it.

We had a greats stay. Could use a little work in the bathroom. Peeling paint in the shower however it was very clean. The staff was excellent!! Very helpful!

This place FAR exceeded our expectations. Every single thing was beyond perfect--Carlos was just terrific, our room was exceptional with the view and the grill right next to us for convenience. I didn't want to leave to go do anything else. It was a much needed way to wind down after a hectic cruise. MANY THANKS!

Charming.boutique style hotel Recently redone and very well done Four negatives---- Old fashioned wall AC units Parking limited Difficult to get to lobby because of parking No closed hallway from registration/lobby area to elevator. (we were stuck for 20 minutes due to a rainstorm)

Hotel right on the beach with fantastic service - had two suite rooms well worth the extra money - alllowed us to use the hotel facilities past check out time as we had a late flight would throughly recommend

..this hotel is right on the beach and that is really nice when you have kids that like to swim in the pool aswell as the sea. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The grill located in the hotelbuilding was a nice place for lunch, with very nice waitresses. We missed free WiFi in the room and the WiFi that was provided wasn't very good.

This hotel is located directly on the beach. Our room was nice clean and comfortable. We had a small balcony over looking the beach. It was an awesome view from our 4th floor room. The only complaints I have were of the resturant/bar & grill located on site. The service was extremely slow. Parking was free here, but not many spots available, however front desk advised us to double park and leave them the keys and they would move our car when a spot became available. We were delighted with this hotel; as a privately owned venture it was very sweet and personal. Our 2 queen double room was quite luxurious for the price and its patio doors opened right up onto deck leading down to the beach. This motel is right on the ocean and has a pretty pool overlooking the water. The restaurant was nice and the food is good. Rooms, as stated in previous reviews, were quite run down and dirty. They smelled of cigarette smoke. Yuck. SURPRISINGLY I did not find any cockroaches.

The view from our oceanfront room was spectacular. The beach was right there for swimming and lounging.

This hotel is a fabulous find. It's small enough to deliver personal service. The location on the beach is wonderful, and the morning sunrise from the balcony is incredible. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

spent a few days here. location on the beach was excellent. had a junior suite which looked onto ocean could not ask for more. everyone helpful and food at bar and grill at hotel was really good and great value for money

After searching on several hotel websites for days, I finally settled on the Sun Tower Hotel and Suites. My husband and I stayed for two nights before moving on to Miami for several nights. This hotel is okay for families with multiple children that need to be quickly shuttled back and forth from the beach to the room for a nap or diaper change. Everyone else should look elsewhere!

We stayed here on the first night of our honeymoon on the way to the Bahamas, and I think this hotel was a great choice. We were ready for the beach, and this place was very close to the water. The Sun Tower Hotel was the perfect backdrop for a surprise vacation I planned for my wife and I. It sits directly on the beach and has everything you need at half the price. The service of the staff was PERFECT! Everyone was more than helpful and couldn't offer more if they tried. We stayed in the Jr. Suite which was located on the first floor (ocean […] side) and when you opened up both doors facing the Atlantic Ocean all of your troubles melt away. My wife is beach, ocean, sun child so for this room to literally provide the light during the day and the perfect soundtrack of waves at night made everything right in the world, LOL! On the same floor located just two rooms to the left was the pub which was open far past the closing time sign of 9pm. This is where my only suggestion comes into play. I understand when you're on vacation spending money comes with the territory, and that's perfectly fine. They pub did offer a great menu of beach side snacks (mahi-mahi sandwich, conch fritters, multiple flat bread pizzas, etc...Now, my wife and I spend one solid day on the beach from sun up to sundown. Laying in the hammocks, moving our chairs to follow the sun, hitting the pool, jumping on the ocean....and enjoying adult beverages and snacks from the Sun Towers pub. Once we soaked up as much sun as possible it was time to wrap it up and get for the evenings activities. When I closed out our tab it was well over $150. At the risk of sounding cheap I just wasn't expecting the total. Each mixed drink was a minimum of $9 dollars and domestic bottles were $7. Needless to say we hit the liquor store that evening and had our own bar in our room ;) Having said that I couldn't think of anything else I would change! I would go back in a heartbeat...It wasn't over crowded, kids weren't screaming and crying all night, its located near everything with just a short cab ride. We only had one night at this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. Check in clerk was helpful and friendly and the breakfast wait staff was wonderful as we waited 1/2 hour for a friend to arrive. Ocean was steps away and we slept with our balcony window open to hear the surf. We loved this hotel.

Nice place with very friendly staff. Kate and the other ladies work very hard in the bar/restaurant. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sun Tower Hotel. Very clean and very nice workers. Everything was perfect. Can't wait to go back there again.

This quaint little place was lovely. The weather did not cooperate, but every person we ran across that worked for Sun Tower went over and above in courtesy, friendliness, and kindness. Great opportunity and great value to stay directly on the beach in Fort Lauderdale with easy access to the rest of the city for fun. One of the few hotels that is directly on the beach. A perfect place to stay for a night or two when all you want is warm weather, a private beach and a small restaurant on site with good food. Unfortunately you will not be able to get a mixed drink, just beer and wine but most of us drink too much anyway! Nothing fancy but very clean.

This hotel is beachfront - walk off the deck onto the beach. There is nothing fancy, but it is clean, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the location is really nice.
