シダ類が繁り、鬱蒼とした森の中にあるロッジ…ここがハワイとは思えないロケーションです！クルマを着けるとご主人の飼い犬達が迎えてくれました。部屋は２階…２ベッドルームに広々としたLDK、広さは十分です！残念だったのは部屋の湿気が高かったこととキッチン周りの清潔さに不満を感じたことくらいでしょうか？それらを除けば良い宿だと思います！

溶岩ツアー(18:00～22:00)が終わってから、ホテルに着いたのは23:00。 それでも快く受け入れて頂き、非常に有難かったです。 このホテル(B&B)は、溶岩洞の上に出来ているようで、ご主人の都合が付けば、ホテルの下の溶岩洞ツアーにつれて行ってくれます。溶岩洞は、それほど大きいものではありませんが、近くで拝見できるので、溶岩が通った痕跡が見て取れます。 ほんの30分ほどですが、とても充実したツアーでした。 しかも、無料(タダ)。 部屋も綺麗で、ジャグジーも使えるので、大満足です。

Volcano National Parkから2マイルのところにあります、ユニークなベットと朝食、森の中にあります、部屋は快適で、プライベートの溶岩のトンネルで探検出来ます、美しい環境があります。オーナーはとても親切で、協力的、可愛い犬と猫がいます。部屋には小さな冷蔵庫とケーブルテレビがあって十分です。とてもお勧めのB&Bです。

This was a fantastic place to stay during our trip to the Big Island! The lodge is comfy and rustic, with very close proximity to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. I was very excited to visit VNP and we planned to spend 2 days in the park. I wanted to find a B&B close to the Volcano and Aloha Crater Lodge is only a few minuted away, a very big plus. We stayed here just to visit Volcanoes National. All we were looking for was a clean bed and a hot shower. This place served the purpose. The added advantage was that they have a lava tube on the property which the owners love to show. This was better than the lava tube in the National Park.

Perfect place to stay for a night before going to Volcano NP. You will wake up and find yourself in the middle of a rainforest. Owners are nice and the stay includes a private tour of the lava tube under the property, which is better than the one in the park.

Aloha Crater Lodge was great for the location. The room was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom could have used more lighting, but otherwise, this was a perfect spot very close to the national park. The owners were also very nice and accomodating. They gave us a bit of extra time for check out, so that was very helpful.

The location of this small B & B hotel in the tropical rainforest is magical and its main asset. It is a few miles from the Volcano National Park, which was our main reason for going to that part of the Big Island, so was perfectly situated for our needs. Our room was quite spacious, though a bit cluttered, and had two double beds, a bathroom and a […] small kitchenette which didn't have a sink, so we couldn't wash up any of our dirty dishes after breakfast or a snack supper. We had to leave them for the owner to wash up the next day, which was a bit irritating, really. Some of the equipment, such as the fridge, had seen better days, and it would have created a better impression if the sheets had been ironed before putting them on the beds! There were loads of towels, though, and the owner's homemade banana bread was absolutely delicious. We had a meal at the Italian restaurant next door to the General store in Volcano Village which was really good, though a bit expensive. Quirky is the word to describe this place. It's a B&B, but with self contained units and a continental breakfast provided for our own preparation and use. We stayed only one night, choosing it for its proximity to the Kilauea volcano. We were able to view both the lava flow and the caldera at night, and get back to our accommodation with ease.

A great little gem just a stone's throw from Volcano Natl Park. A tasty breakfast was provided in-room, providing flexible options for our family and its jet lag. The lava tube right on the property was far cooler than the highly manicured option in the park. Two thumbs up for awesome customer service all around.
