学会参加のための宿泊で、会場まで10分以内の距離でとても便利でした。部屋も広く快適でした。ただし、full breakfastとのことでしたがスクランブルエッグとソーセージ（これとハム、スパイシーハンバーグの3種類でローテーションの様）、自分で作るワッフルの他はシリアル、パン、マフィンとオレンジジュース、アップルジュース、水、市販のヨーグルト、メロンだけとちょっとイマイチな内容でした。ただし、コーヒーがいつも置いてありテイクアウト用のカップも用意されていて気が利いていました。

今回は学会出張で，ダウンタウンのコンベンションセンターから近いところを探しました．いわゆるモーテルなので，はっきり言って「近い」とは言いにくいのですが，それでも歩いて10分ほどでコンベンションセンター，メイシーズ，リバーウォークなどにたどり着けます．部屋もきれいで快適でした．これでこの価格帯であれば「非常に満足」です．すぐ近くに「Fatty's Burger」というハンバーガー屋さんもあり，とてもおいしかったです．

not satisfied the temperature in San Antonio was 80 - 83 degree the air conditioner in room didn't blow enough cool air to cool off the room. The room was furnished with old broken furniture. "Average hotel, inconvenient location"

"Terrible Customer Service"
I paid for my daughter and sister to stay in the Howard Johnson hotel for my daughter's birthday. The room had a broken towel rod and burned out light bulbs. When I called the front desk to have those things fixed, I was rudely told by Carlos there was nothing he could do and I would have to wait til the morning. I was also told there were no other […] rooms to change to. I called Hotels.com to press a complaint. After a brief hold, the rep from Hotels.com told me to return to the front desk and we would be changed to another room. There were no further issues. However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was not properly prepared for guests, it never should have been released to guests. Carlos was so rude, I would hate for anyone else to experience his nastiness.
