There are many good point about this hotel that were unfortunately, for me, partially negated by the fact of the nearby construction works that begin at 9 am and the workers may talk loudly in the street until late. get a rear room! forget the view and get your sleep. The location is good as it is near the western style shops which are some therapy […] after mad medinas and souks which themselves are a 35 min walk to the Djamel Fna. The service was good by Moroccan standards yet I had to ask 3 times for the water heater to be turned up for a hot shower. The breakfast is good and abundant and they offer nice omelettes as well. The room was a very good size and actually found wardrobe coat hangers and a bathroom towel hook, albeit falling off, unlike many other 3* places where these simple pleasures are non existent. Free Internet access in the foyer only but a good service, thanks. The room was clean enough and the maids were respectful (noting any DND sign). There is a bar with good prices and satellite TV's that work. Sending a Fax is extortionate (50 DH) but what hotel isn't and why the faxes and copier are not available to reception rather than locked away upstairs is a Moroccan mystery; you have to just giggle at some stuff. Was disappointed that they tried to charge me 40dh for 2 bananas (4dh usually) as we were too sick (unfortunate Moroccan belly - not this hotels fault) to eat the free breakfast. I made the point, should not need to, and to their credit they waived the charge. Again the construction nearby with an incessant bump bump throughout the day in annoying if you wish to stay in for the day, unlikely, but when you read this it may be finished. Hôtel vieillot ne correspondant pas à sa classification. Tablette non remplacée au-dessus du lavabo dans la salle de bains. Pas d'eau chaude le dernier matin........
