Room and staff were top notch. However, we did have some concerns - the hotel became overbooked and we were bumped from our room, despite having reservations in advance. So the kids ended up on hide-a-beds. They did give us free breakfast buffets as an "Apology". One word describes my experience.......Wonderful!!!

I stay at this hotel every time that I visit the Monroe/West Monroe area and I am never disappointed. Courteous staff, very comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was in town for 1 night for a football game. The room was comfortable. But it was a smoking room. I did not realize that hotels still had smoking indoors. I could not change rooms because the hotels was sold out. Other than that the stay was good for my needs.

Often stay here as a stopover point and is always clean and comfortable. Only negative is that breakfast is not included. Make to order breakfast is delicious but can be a little pricey for a family.

My wife and daughter and myself needed a nice hotel to overnight in on our way from Savannah,GA. and Midland, Texas. The Hilton Garden Inn West Monroe, was easy to access from I-20 and my main 2 criteria for an overnight hotel was met.....clean room and comfortable beds

This was just an OK place to stay. The beds were comfortable but there was no room service around breakfast time. As far as location, you should only stay here if you have business in West Monroe, not Monroe proper. This hotels is new and in very good condition. The rooms were nice, plenty of parking, and staff very friendly.

What can we say... This place is clean, nice and neat at all times...Our room was cleaned each day with clean towels and linens...Our room located on the 4th floor...Some dust around the room that no sees except me...but hey I am 6'9" and see things that others miss...:LOL.,..Each member of the staff was great, pleasant to be around...The pool area […] when we walked around it was clean, water clear...As far as getting in it, we didn't have time to get in it... We would gladly come and stay at this hotel again... Now with that said... The road leading to The Hilton Garden Inn needs some work...and the air stinks because of its location near a paper mill in the area...water, we went and bought our own from one of the local stores...even the ice takes in drinks has a taste to it... Upon arrival, we found that the machine that programs the room key cards was broken, but the clerk went with us to our rooms and let us in with a master key card. When we returned from dinner about an hour later, our room key cards were waiting at the desk. The issue was handled very well by the clerk. Very clean and new hotel, not within walking distance […] from anything, so you will need to drive a few miles to the next I-20 exit towards Monroe where there are many chain restaurants (Cracker Barrel, Chili's, Outback, etc.). Hotel has a small restaurant on the side of the main lobby, but we didn't try it. They serve breakfast, but it's not included in the room rate. Room was comfortable and quiet. All rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave. There's a small business center with a few computers for guests to use, a nicely equipped work-out room, as well as a small indoor pool and hot tub (the pool area was very humid & hot from the hot tub). This was a good stay for us, food was good and reasonable priced at the motel but there were many of the "standards" within a mile (on low traffic frontage road), including outback, chilis, cracker barrel, and the such. Would recommend this to anybody in the monroe area.

The hotel is fairly new. Everything was clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet in the morning costs extra but is reasonably priced and very good. Service was spotty as I had to get my own coffee refills. Have good directions if you are going here as it is a little hard to find.

This hotel was a very nice hotel with a heated indoor pool and whirlpool and a small, but nice exercise room. The location was excellent because we were attending an event at the IKE Center which was right across the street. The housekeeping personnel were very friendly.

Extra large clean room, pleasant helpful staff even though hotel booked to the max everyone was cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely stay there again

The Good: After traveling for several hours with 2 small children, they let us check in early. The staff was friendly and greeted us everytime they saw us. The rooms were nice, and a little above average. The hotel was clean and the staff was some of the best I have encountered! The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The bad: The breakfast was not worth […] $8.95! ($3.95 at most!) There was not enough seating in the breakfast area and the staff was slow to clean the empty tables. It is clear that they are trying to run a classy breakfast gig but waiting 40 minutes for pancakes is hardly acceptable! When I wanted to bathe my kids, the water was brown. ( I was told it was because the water source is a well!) It was not a bad hotel.. The service was good, but a few little things were troublesome. but on a positive note the hotel is pretty new, clean, nicely landscaped, quiet etc. Downsides were: 1. Breakfast ws not included in our rate. And some of the other places nearby did include breakfast and looked pretty similar. The breakfast was good for $9 and […] the servers were nice, but a bit harried. And they ran out of forks... a bit unusual to set the tables without forks... But not really a good reason for not staying there. 2. a little out of the way. I mean this is not a big town, and it was really only 2-4 minutes more, but again, you pass a lot of similar places on the way to this hotel ( unless you are going to the horse center, for that destination this is the best choice) 3. I saw and heard a number of people getting new keys. seems there was a problem getting the keys to work consistently.
