クラシックホテルの風情を第一条件にあげるならどうかなって感じです（室内もリニューアルされていてノスタルジックではありません）が、立地条件はかなりいい（地下鉄１号、１０号、リニアモーターカーの乗る２号が徒歩圏）です。利用しませんでしたがまん前に白木屋だかはあるし、陜西南路駅駅に行く途中に夢のようにおいしいエッグタルトのお店や安いケーキ店があるので、食事には苦労しません。それと一押し（実はこれがここを選んだ第一の理由なのですが）ホテル内のプールがとっても水質がよくて、空いているので滞在中一度は泳いだ方がいいですよ。

フロントには流暢に日本が話せる女性スタッフがおり助かりました。 又、ｺﾝｼｬﾙｼﾞｪの人がとても親切で満足しました。

Hotel location was great. Staff was very helpful and knew English. Problem was it was 80 degrees outside and they won't put on the air conditioning. AC use in April is a no-no. The windows opened only about 10 inches. The bed mattress was very firm. That was okay with me but my daughter thought the mattress was very uncomfortable.

A beautiful hotel filled with lots of period character. My only complaint was that the bed was too hard.

Marvellous large balcony room, with double glazing. Well situated in French Concession with variety of eating places available in neigbourhood and euwrpoean breakfast available cheaply across road. not a bad hotel at all , nice old building , massive room

Staff went beyond expectations to make my stay very comfortable & enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, friendly staff and price.

Great value for money in nice & convenient location in the french concession.

We stayed in a deluxe room in building # 1. Lovely large room with 2 double beds. Great value for money. Good mini fridge and easy to order ice. Since this hotel is very conveniently located, one can do a lot around the vicinity... Shooping - you have small, cute, boutique shops where one can get everything possible, from clothes, to accessories, shoes, bags etc etc. Even the malls with big brands are all walking distance. We chose the Donghu Hotel for its location and price - which was perfect. Not only are there wonderful places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner on the same block but it is a great staring point for walking around town. Very good location, as most of our business was in French Concession area. Also much quieter than around People's Square and Bund areas. They gave us a very small room with the window facing to a wall. Our booking was for a superior room. When we asked for a different room they asked us for "more money". After a very serious talk they moved us to a different room 30 minutes later. A very bad and unexpected experience for a luxury hotel after 15 hours in a plane. After I checked in and saw my room, I asked to see a room in the newer building. Decided to stay in the initial dirty carpet, cracked walled, old, very small room. The bathroom was very nice. On my second day I was sitting in the chair and felt water drip on my arm. The ceiling began to leak and I asked to be moved to another room at 11:45 pm. No problem. […] I was moved to a much nicer larger cleaner room on another floor. This hotel has great potential but unfortunately is in need of repair. rustig gelegen hotel , in het groen en toch goed gelegen. Vlakbij één van de grote winkelstraten. Ruime kamer, zeer groot bed, ruime balconkamer met uitzicht op het groen en de stad Op 1O minuten van de metro, in interessante wijk : de Franse concessie Met alle voorzieningen in de omgeving Mooi zwembad van 25 meter. Heb niet ontbeten in het hotel.
