雰囲気のある下町にあるホテルです。 とても親切に対応してくれます。 メトロ駅は遠いですが、トラム駅近く　上環からタクシー近いです。

セントラルからタクシーで10分程度。 部屋も普通に綺麗・・・だけどバスルームがほんの少しにおった気がしますが、過度に敏感な方を除いては許容範囲です。無難なビジネスホテルといったところ。 何よりも香港島にあって、セントラルにタクシーで10分程度でコスト低なので、高級ホテルは泊まれないけどほどよい快適さがありつつ欲張りたいという方にオススメ！周辺は、海産物・乾物問屋街のようなところで中華系住民が多い感じ。東京でいう上野 アメ横みたい？ 筆者はまたここを使いたいと思います。

空港から鉄道、あるいは船で香港入りする場合はタクシー移動が必須（目の前をトラムが走っているので、荷物が小さい場合はトラム移動も可能）。空港行きのバス停は、ホテルから西に５〜１０分程度歩いたところ（ラマダホテルのすぐ近く）にあり、１時間に数本ある１２Ａのバスに乗れば40分程度で空港に着く。ホテル周辺は、現地民のための商店や食堂があり、広東語か中国語が多少出来ればおいしい食事を安く食べられる。コンビニも何軒かある。またトラム移動をするなら非常に便利な立地。ただし、ホテルの部屋はハーバービューを希望するなら、事前に伝えておいた方が良い。１フロアに数室しか海の見える部屋はないため。

清潔感が有って良い。バスルームもそこそこ広くて良かった。iPod のdogが付いていて良かった。Taxi もホテルの前で待っていてくれるので便利、観光スポットには少し遠い？上環にあるマカオ行きのフェリーターミナルまではTaxi で２０分ぐらいかかる（交通渋滞がある）全体的に良いと思う。

上環方面に位置するホテル。フロントの対応、部屋の清掃ともに問題は有りませんでした。今回は、エクゼクティブフロアに11泊しましたが眺めも良く快適でした。全体感としては、寝るだけに滞在するホテルといった印象で、ホテルで食事や滞在を楽しみたい方にはちょっと向かないかもしれません。なお、シャトルバスがIFC、スターフェリー、セントラル方面を回っているのと、ホテル周辺には地元のお店やコンビになどが多数あるので便利です。

場所はMTR駅から少々遠いものの、タクシーで難なく来ることが出来ました。 一旦荷物を置いてしまえば、バスやトラムで上環、中環に用意にアクセスできます。また、ホテル付近では地元でも非常に人気なレストランがいくつかありますので、地元料理に抵抗が無い人は是非チャレンジしてみるといいと思います。 ビジネス目的だと少々不便です。駅や空港からちょっと遠いし、中国国境へもアクセスが不便です。

マカオへ行く前泊に利用しました。マカオフェリーターミナルまで近く、トラム乗り場も近いので便利でした。フロントの対応も良く満足です。

飛行機チケットの都合で香港一泊となり、今回宿泊しました。広さとしては日本のビジネスホテル位の広さ。泊まるだけであれば問題ない程度だと思います。

コストパフォーマンスはよい。ホテルの作りも部屋もきれい。ただ、日本のビジネスホテル並みに狭かった。トランジットでちょっと宿泊くらいならよいが、香港メインの観光ではホテルでゆっくりできないかも。安宿に泊まりたくない、でも宿泊費は抑えたいという人にはよい。

香港リピータでトラム，タクシー，徒歩などの使い分けのできる人にはよいと思う。 なぜなら，トラム駅は近いがスーツケース携行は難しいく，上環からの地下鉄徒歩は難しい。そのため，荷物持ちでは香港駅や上環駅からタクシー利用となる。しかし，日本でのワンメータ程度と手頃であった。なおタクシーは一方通行があり，ぐるぐると周辺を回り，はじめての方は不安になるかも知れない。 一方，香港経験者には，帰りには，香港駅のエアポートエキスプレス駅でのシティーチェックインが可能で非常に便利だし，立地は，周辺が「海味街」という海産物店が密集する地帯でディープ香港の日常の味わいが楽しめ，ワンタン麺などは格安でかなりな美味。トラム・スターフェリー利用で九龍にも格安でアクセス。上環のマカオフェリー乗り場も近く，実際，朝市で昼過 […] ぎ帰還もできました。ぶらぶら街歩きで三十分程度で文武廟にも行けました。便利です。 ハーバービューは，ライトアップ中心の中環―九龍ラインから少々遠いので絶景は期待しないほうが無難。 金額次第では，また利用したいと考えています。 もっと読む

新しいバス路線のおかげで、空港からの移動がとても便利になりました。また次回も利用したいと思います。

ベッド以外の作りが窮屈な感じがしますが、香港なので仕方ないか 基本的には値段相応のいいホテルです インターネットは室内ワイヤレスが使えますが、使用時間に応じた値段設定です

The Island Pacific Hotel has become my first choice for Hong Kong because it is a very nice hotel at a price that's lower than comparable hotels. The reason for the lower price is likely that it is in a somewhat out of the way location - well beyond the last MTR (subway) stop, and in an area that doesn't have any restaurants of shops that would appeal […] to the typical tourist. This is an excellent hotel with a lower than normal cost for a hotel in Hong Kong of its caliber due to its location - well beyond the last MTR stop on the west side of Hong Kong Island, and in the midst of a completely non-western neighborhood without restaurants or shopping that would appeal to a tourist. This hotel has great service, good amenities, and a decent harbour view. Its out of the way form most hotels, but the price is right.

Nice hotel but a bit of a walk to the MTS (subway). But just a block from main street with buses and trams.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. It's about 10 min walk or a short tram ride away from MTR, the HK subway system. HK is very humid so tram is a better option. Enjoyed my time at the island pacific. The staff were extremely helpful and it was excellent value for money. Only minor downside is its distance from the metro. There are however plenty of buses as well as the tram.

Stayed for 5 nights. Staff are very welcoming from moment you arrive. Shuttle bus into town all day was refreshingly convenient for getting to ideal locations around HK island. When we arrived first 2 mornings were late and reception kindly rang to inquire if we wished to have the room serviced. We declined first morning and arranged a convenient time the second day. Overall experience was very good with a very modern feel throughout and excellent staff. It may be in a very Chinese area but its still only a very short walk to nearest mtr at the Macau ferry terminal. Overall good VFM - varying day-rates was an eye-opener, the higher rates obviously coincident with the Chinese holiday dates. Eat out - as with most hotels, food and drink prices higher than that available in the high street, yet of poorer quality.

Not bad for the price really, although we booked a room with a view, but the windows were so filthy you couldn't see much, spoilt the whole effect, shame!!

Our room was exceptionally large for this price range in Hong Kong and very comfortable. Even had a view over the water. Not much to see in the neighbourhood and not directly on an MRT line, although they provide a regular FREE hotel shuttle to Central just minutes away. Great deal for Hong Kong but a bit of a trade-off when it comes to location as the hotel is at least a 15 min walk to the subway. Not a lot of activity in the area but there are a few small restaurants and 7-11 style stores and a nice park across the highway with a good view of the city. My stay which lasted 3 weeks was very pleasant. The hotel was clean. Beds comfortable and the security was good. This is my second stay in this hotel which speaks for itself.

This is a very nice hotel that has a harbor view from the rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The only reason that I marked it down at all was that it is a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the closest MTR (subway) station.

Great bargin hotel in Hong Kong. I stayed here with my family for the weekend after spending 2 weeks in China. The front desk staff was very professional, polite and refreshing. I was impressed by how pleasant the check in process was performed. The even gave my daughter a teddy bear at check in, which was a nice touch and made her day. The hotel has great "noodle" shop around the corner and a few small stores to grab supplies. Next to trolly but 15min walk from subway. Hotel makes up for distance to subway by offering free shuttle drop off to either ferry or main Hong Kong station. A few people warned about spending money on taxi. I personally used their shuttle to get to subway and then used taxi to get back at night. Taxi ride cost me 30 HKD & 2nd night it was 20HKD...cheapest taxi ride I've ever had in my life. The hotel location isn't ideal but free shuttle makes up for it. This is a jewel of a hotel. Excellent services and staff. Very courteous and professional. However, the hotel is in old city - which is great if you want to live that charm. For things I wanted to do, I had to always take a HK $20 cab to central from where I could connect to places. But overall, no complaints.

If you go to the hotel from Hongkong International airport, A10 is very good. It takes about 40minutes. very convenient. From the hotel to the shuntak ferry terminal, there is a shuttle bus every 30minutes. It takes about 5 or 10 minutes.

my friends are very satisfied with this hotel. the service is good and the wifi is great. the location is great if you plan to go to Macao.

The Island Pacific was the cheapest hotel I could find in Hong Kong. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a wonderful full-service hotel. It lacks a majestic lobby, but my family and I didn't need that; we were there just to spend time sightseeing. Very friendly and helpful staff. My flight arrived early which I also arrived the hotel way earlier than the check-in time. The room wasn't available at that time but the staff offered me a place where I can have a shower and get dress. By the time I finished, my room was ready! I really appreciate they make that extra effort to suit my need in situation […] like that. Location is not that closed to town but they offer shuttle buses in every hour travelling between hotel and Central MTR station. Also it's only an hour away from HK International Airport by taxi. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and always very welcoming after a long day out sightseeing. Location is not in the 'touristy' area but the free shuttle services to the central MTR stations are fantastic as the MTR takes you almost anywhere in HK. Excellent service and very courteous staff, and good sized room for a Hong Kong hotel. Location is fine as it is relatively close to Shun Tak Ferry Terminal and Central Building. However, the immediate neighbourhood doesn't have many amenities - the only drawback in my opinion.
