This hotel offers great value. Right beside the station for travel to the airport or to Fuengirola. Breakfast buffet is wonderful, hot and cold selection unmatched for the overall price paid for this overnight stay. Car parking a bit difficult, as hotel car park is a 200 metre walk. However, overall, really good.

OK hotel as a base as we did not spend much time in it, but it is not in Fuengirola, but in quiet area of Torreblanca (next to Torreblanca station) Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful with special dietary needs. Breakfast was pre-prepared, but enough choice of breads and a few fruits/cereals and enough hot food selection. Spanish/old style rooms, […] good size, view from quite a large balcony of mountains on one side and sea on other (in between buildings). 5 minute walk to nice stretch of seaside with friendly cafe on the corner directly down below, but not much else in the immediate area. However, could take bus or train to Fuengirola (2-10 mins away)- each comes every 20 mins though. Entertainment programme for older people mainly- bingo/live music. Flamenco show ok. Receptionist not most helpful in giving recommendations. Better to go Ronda by train to Fuengiorla and bus from coach station round the corner in terms of timing (think around 11.30am, and cost is slightly cheaper than train). If you just want to relax, mainly on beach, with a few daytrips, this hotel would be a suitable basic base, and has lovely views around the hotel. However, for younger people, or people who want to do more local sightseeing/go somewhere a bit more lively, go for walks along marina etc I would recommend Benalmadena or Fuengirola. There is nothing dramatic about the hotel, I've stayed there several times and it is reliable. For me the price is right and it is very convenient, particularly the railway, I would hate to rely on the place entirely for food, not that the food is not good, the hotel does the best it can remembering the numbers it caters for.

Certainly not 4**** and maybe just 3***. I booked 6 weeks in advance and asked for a room on the 6th floor or above and was given 3rd floor because "all 6th floor or above occupied". WIFI is only available on the ground floor but it is reliable Although very near the station be aware it is not easy to locate on arrival, if dark. When we checked into our rooms we discovered that we were given a twin room opposed to a double room as requested. When we questioned this no effort was made to rectify the error, being told in a very off-handed manner that we'd have to wait until the following morning. We quickly made the decision that the hotel weren't going to bother moving us, otherwise […] they would never have given us a twin room in the first place. The beds themselves were extremely hard and the pillow each bed had was extremely soft, giving no neck support at all. The room was lacking basic features, such as a clock/alarm, instructions on how to use the phone, no answerphone service and no list of hotel charges. The in room safe clearly hadn't been changed since the building was built- I think it would barely accomodate a netbook, so don't even think about taking a laptop to the hotel. The walls and ceilings were relatively thin, and we could hear what was happening in the adjacent rooms most of the time. While this is due to the age of the building, one wonders why the hotel hasn't installed sound-proofing to their rooms. On the plus side, the hotel was clean and barely a five minute walk from the beach, but that isn't enough to cover up the fact that this is either a poor three star hotel, or a decent two star hotel. もっと読む

30 min €1.50 trip by train from Malaga Airport to Torreblanca Station. Out of station and left up a Cul de Sac for 3 minutes and your in the hotel. Very helpful and efficient receptionist. Nice big rooms with sea view. Breakfast had plenty of variety all self service including tea and coffee from vending machines which were quite good. Lunch and dinner […] also self service with plenty of choice. I don't eat meat but there were plenty of soups, salads, paella and fish plus several desserts. Drink was self service but at €7 for a bottle of wine worth the walk. Most of the residents were Spanish and over 60 which suited me as they make less noise than children. Huoneeseen ei kuulunut hotellista mitään häiritseviä ääniä, ei edes tanssiravintolasta. Siellä soi iltaisin musiikki melko kovallla volyymilla. Ainoa ääni joka kuului ulkoa, oli junan äänet. Das Hotel liegt wenige Fußminuten zum Strand und alle Zimmer haben Meerblick. Innerhalb von 3 Auotminuten ist man auch auf der Schnellstraße in alle Richtungen. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr ganz neu, das kann man an manchen Stellen sehen, aber frische Farbe gabs vor einiger Zeit schon. Das Türkartenleser war defekt, der Repairservice war aber binnen 2 Minuten […] da. Leider war die Klimaanlage nicht gereinigt, deshalb haben wir sie nicht genutzt. Die nächtlichen Temparaturen ließen aber ein gutes Schlafen mit offenener Balkontür zu. Das Essen war reichlich und vielseitig. Ein fantastsicher Blick aufs Meer und Richtung Malaga von der Ostseite des Hauses. Der große Pool ist bei täglicher Pflege sehr sauber, die Liegestühle sind aber offenbar noch aus der Erstausstattung. Wir haben für 2 Kinder aufbetten lassen, trotzdem hatten wir genug Platz im Zimmer ohne uns im Weg zu stehen. LCD-TV vorhanden, Wanne mit klappbarer Duschscheibe ist OK. tägl. Zimmerservice auch. Hotellet liger lite off (ca 3 km från Fuengirola). Hårda sängar. Personalen är trevlig och fixade ett rum på 8:våningen med utsikt över havet utan att tjafsa om pengar etc. Frukosten som ingick i priset var helt ok.

die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. die Service ist auch super. es gibt auch wlan im Lobby. aber der Hotel, auch die Zimmer sind schon ein bisschen alt. die Schalldaempfung ist so schlecht, dass meereswelle ein fach gehoert wird.
