While I was in Victoria for Congress 2013, two of my friends were seeing the sights. I have stayed at Helm's Inn twice and have been very pleased both times. The location is perfect for walking downtown, to the park, to the beach, or just around the beautiful neighborhoods. The room was very clean a little old fashioned but clean. IT had a small kitchen, with table and chairs and a fridge. Which meant for us an opportunity to buy some food and drinks and stay in for breakfast, or have a coffee or a night cap. We enjoyed our stay and staff very helpful and freindly. We very much enjoyed our 2 nights at Helm`s Inn. The accommodation was spacious, with a full kitchenette and it was extremely comfortable. The location too was very central for sightseeing and walking around the city. We would definitely like to stay there when we are in Victoria again.

This hotel was really a pleasant surprise. I took the ferry from Seattle to Victoria and this hotel was so conveniently located that I could walk to everything. The room was very large with a full kitchen so I could eat in if I chose to do so. I loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel in walking distance of all major attractions. Great facilities with fairly well equipped kitchen (limited utensils). We found the room spacious and comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had a full oven, stove top and large fridge. Although it was on a busy road, it did not seem noisy even on a Saturday night.

Helms Inn is a great place to stay when visiting Victoria. It is conveniently located to the ferry and all downtown attractions. The only complaint about our stay was on one day when insufficient towels were supplied and we had to ask for more. But we received an immediate response for our request for more towels.

I loved this hotel. It was quiet and clean. In walking distance to everything in town but just far enough away from the busy streets that it was peacful and quiet. The beautiful park across the street was perfect for a morning jog and an evening stroll.
