仕事のため、3泊4日宿泊したが、一度電気が止まることがあった。数時間で回復はしたが、宿泊客の中には文句言って階段を上っていった人もいた。平日の夕方だったというのもあってか、大きなことにはならなかったようだった。フロント前にパンや果物など用意し、マネージャーらしき人が宿泊客に話しかけ、気を使っていた。部屋は、きれいで何も問題なかったが、フロントとシャトルの運転手の接客対応はいまいちだった。

また泊まりたいと思います。もっとも、以前Philadelphiaに住んでいたので、どこに何があってとわかっているから、このホテルでよかったのだと思います。初めての人にとってはもっとメジャーなホテルの方が便利かもしれません。

"Not a great place to stay"
The inn seems to have fallen on hard times. Our room was adequate. However the bathroom had missing tile and peeling faucet fixtures and the sink was cracked. There was a huge stain on the bedroom rug. Breakfast was included. The service in the dining room was terrible. We had to wait 15 minutes for a waiter. "beautiful grounds but wouldn't stay again"
We killed 4 bugs in the room the first night there. The breakfast buffet was ok the first 2 days and a nice staff, but on Sat the food was running out and the weekend staff didn't seem to care. If it hadn't been included we would have eaten elsewhere. "All in all a great visit!"
This inn was quoted as being 11 miles from New Hope on the Hotels.com site but it was actually 20 miles, so it wasn't very convenient to where we were going. We were very pleased with the Inn in spite of it. A great breakfast buffet but everything was cold. The french toast would have been delicious if it were remotely warm. I know this is a problem […] with buffets, but it's a shame to have good food not being served warm. I don't know what the solution would be. "Miss this B & B"
This was my third - and final - visit to the Joseph Ambler Inn. I was accomodated in an attic garrett room with a steeply pitched ceiling, no means to control the temperature - and the room falling down around me! To access my roon was a climb up two steep, narrow stairways - not easily navigated even with only a medium suitcase and laptop bag. The […] linens on the bed were worn and tired - the bed poorly made, the dust ruffle caught up on the mattress - and never corrected! The window valance fell down in the middle of the night - for no apparant reason. The room vacillated between stiflingly hot to icy cold as the temps outside fluctuated - but there was no means to control the temprature inside, other than one small window behind a brick wall! (At least that little square allowed some air in). Calls to the front desk were answered politely - but no action seems to have been taken at any point! The bathroon was more spacious than one would expect - but no room to store toiletries - so I used the desk outside the bathroom to hold the essentials. There is enough space in the bathroom for a storage unit for guests - though I guess I coul have put all my stuff on the floor! The decor attempted to be "shabby chic" and sadly, only achieved shabby. Dust was visible on the radiators, arms of the sofa, around the feet of the furniture - really a great example of very poor housekeeping. The carpet was stained and lightbulbs not in working order. The ceramic tile in the bathroom marked up and unclean looking. All in all, it was very disappointing - but absolute in the final analysis for confirming my resolve never to return. もっと読む

"Nice place for a great price"
Had an easy time making a booking on hotels.com, i got a cheaper rate than when i called the hotel, not that much cheaper but still. The rooms were nice, a really nice property. All the guests were impressed. The rooms were nice, except one of the bathroom doors wouldn't lock. I went with a big group so they were told to behave as there was a condition […] when checking in that you shouldn't leave the room too messy otherwise you will be charged. That turned some of the guests off. We had to be extremely careful, unlike when we go to regular hotels, we leave everything a mess. But, really this is a place that is nice so you should really treat it properly too,so I understand. But for those who are looking to have a carefree messy weekend, this might not be the place. Oh but the breakfast was great, especially the service. Very helpful and kind and attended to our needs to make sure we had a great breakfast. So I would definitely recommend to everyone. "Joseph Ambler Inn has lots of character"
The photos don't do justice to the beauty of this place. The guestroom is in an antique building but has a nice modern feel , and the 12 acre property has several buildings that seem almost like a mini-village. Je betaalt extra voor romantisch 18e eeuwse omgeving. Pluspunt: voor Amerikaanse begrippen goed restaurant. Minpunt: in de kamers op de 2e verdieping boven het restaurant dreunt de centrale verntilatie, die is niet uit te zetten.
