We spent a very loud Saturday night in this facility. First, we were put between two rooms full of little girls celebrating a birthday. Lots of running, yelling, ect. Then first thing on Sunday AM the remodeling crew started with their work...banging, ect. Rooms were also much less attentive to cleanliness than in the past. I stayed at this hotel with my 5 y.o. son so, we could attend the Louisville Bats game. The staff was exceptional and so was the convenience. We were able to walk to and from the game.

The early evening front desk attendant was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. We had inquired if there was a shuttle that could take us to Jeff Ruby's for dinner. His comment was "What, can't you afford to call a cab?". I found this to be uncalled for and very unprofessional. When we had called a cab and came down to wait for it, he again was rude when […] we asked if the cab had arrived and his reply was something to the effect of that it probably left because he called it so long ago...we headed straight downstairs after we called but the elevators were so slow (and smeared with blood, which we took a photo of). We had also brought to his attention that there were blood smears and blood splatter in the elevator and he acted as if it was no big deal...and the blood splatter was still present the next morning. We were very disappointed with the early evening attendants attitude towards us. Extremely rude and for this reason we will not stay at this hotel again and will tell friends and family the same. The room was very nice and the hotel was clean, the breakfast buffet was very good and the rest of the staff was very pleasant but the one gentlemen just ruied it for us. We only stayed for one night...but the room was perfect and staff was friendly.

This room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, you won't believe it! They had everything you could possibly need, including a lovely functional kitchen. Wish I had been able to spend more time in my room! The location is close to downtown, not much of a view, but everything else was exceptional, including the service!

The room was a little pricey, but it was exactly what I wanted. I wanted a room within walking distance of the baseball stadium. The game was great. The stay perfect

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff make for a very pleasant stay.

WOW! This place was a dump! I mean it is Vincennes Indiana, but dang. Room was dirty, Sheets were dirty, shower was old and dirty, everything was old and dirty/not cleaned properly. Worst continental breakfast ever. Very laughable!!! Hotel looks O.K. from the outside and the lobby but wouldn't venture in much farther. I suggest going across the street […] to Holiday Inn Express. The Residence Inn Louisville is located conveniently down town with easy highway access. The staff are incredibly helpful and give wonderful recommendations for newcomers to the city. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to see the city and get a feel for the local culture.

The hotel itself was excellent, but, the location left a little to be desired. There was a homeless shelter 6 blocks away and people from the shelter came by the hotel and one came into the hotel while we were there. The clerk said that happens occasionally. The hotel personnel were very friendly although our maid did not speak any english so it was […] difficult to communicate with her. She did have a cell phone and someone on call to translate for her. we were worried driving into the hotel's surrounding neighborhood, because we were obviously in a questionable part of town, surrounded by run-down homes and old factory buildings, and large groups of young urban males walking the streets. we pulled into the hotel's street level un-guarded un-lit parking garage and met with signs alerting drivers to […] lock their doors trunks and turn on alarm systems because the hotel was not responsible for theft or damage. we were approached by apparently homeless "street-people" for money, so we hurried into the vestibule where we had to be buzzed into the hotel. the hotel was clean, but the staff was rude. after acclimating to the room, we took our 2 year old daughter down to the indoor pool. the heat in the poolhouse was unbearable. there were signs stating that 6 people MAXIMUM could be in the pool or face a monetary fine, and at the time there were 2 families (totalling 14 children) in the pool, yelling, running, and throwing beachballs, which eventually hit our daughter. the parents were oblivious to the pool rules. Then, in difference to the rules, the parents left to go to the gym to "work-out" leaving their children unattended, at which time all hell broke loose. we quickly left the pool, noticing on the way out that there were used bandages floating in the hot-tub/whirlpool. we were disgusted. we had plans for the day-time hours, so we stayed out of the room as much as possible. during the night hours, however, the hotel and surrounding area turned into a large alcohol fueled party. street racing (motorcycle and automobile) seemed to last all night long, up and down the street directly in front of the hotel (our room was 3rd floor overlooking the street) with bars within walking distance, it seems that all of the occupants of the rooms adjacent to ours took advantage, and came down the hallways yelling and continuing their party in the hall, turning the entire floor into an open-door house party. when we awoke to hurry out もっと読む

When we checked in we requested a room away from the majority of guests so that our son would not be woken up in the middle of the night by loud hallway traffic. The lady that checked us in was pretty rude and in a hurry; stated everyone had checked out, not many people staying there during the nights we were booked for. Not only were we put on a floor […] next to loud neighbors, busy hallway traffic, but right outside our window was the trolley than ran well past my son's bedtime until sometimes well after midnight. We were very pleased with our hotel. The rooms were very nice and updated. The breakfast buffet was also very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Service was the most outstanding feature of this hotel. The staff was wonderful. They did all my grocery shopping (twice) complimentary, new the surrounding area well, and were very, very friendly. The rooms were large and clean, and the cleaning staff even did our dishes that we left from lunch. Their breakfast buffet offered hot foods like sausage, […] eggs, potatoes, homemade waffles, etc...The area around the hotel offers alot of site-seeing and shopping, all in walking distance. VERY NICE

We were looking for a cheap nonsense place to stay for the concert we were going to.. however on hotels.com we got the same room as the price of the cheap ones. The picture looked to our standards so we booked it not expecting too much. This hotel is going to be exactly what you pay for your money-- it may be on the higher end, but it is a nice hotel and the staff is wonderful. I would definitely recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here for a wedding at the Louisville Slugger baseball stadium and couldn't have been happier. The location is perfect and the room was like a luxury studio apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was perfect. As soon as we arrived we were taken aback by the cleanliness and the luxury of the room. It came furnished complete with all appliances, as well as dishes, and eating utensils. Room was clean and very up kept. There was plenty of towels for myself and my significant other. We both agreed that te comfort of the bed was outstanding. […] We didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities such as the pool, exercise equipment, hot tub, or complimentary breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly in anything that we needed such as directions, or just general help with something in the room. The location was great. My husband, baby and I were on a minivacation and overall had a good stay. The hotel room was nicely decorated and the kitchen was awesome. The tv rotating stand was great for when we wanted to watch tv in the bedroom or the living room. The only problem we had was that the noise from the hallways was very audible which kept waking up my son in the […] middle of the night when the doors of other suites would slam shut. We thought the hotel room was very nicely decorated. The full kitchen was great. My 12 year old daughter was thrilled about the complimentary microwave popcorn, the continental breakfast, and the indoor pool. The price made the hotel seem even more impressive. Being in the center of downtown was another plus.

The only thing I really wish they had was an airport shuttle.

The rooms are very comfortable and appealing aesthetically. They are also well equipped with the kitchen set-up. I also liked the location of this hotel with convenient access to local attractions. The only thing that would have made it perfect was a little softer bed. The staff were very helpful and hospitable.

Was better than I expected..the room was wonderful and the staff was very friendly
