Central location and very convenient for station etc but be aware - no city view from any room if this important to you.Very comfy bed, fantastic breakfast and good service. Our room was dark (velux window) but had loads of character and suited our needs well. Bathroom small but clean and functional (shower only).

Different type of hotel that i liked. In the city and business area.Highly recomended!

What a cool Hotel. Great atmosphere, incredible location and some of the most polite and professional staff I've ever encountered. The breakfast is not to be missed.

The hotel is very nice, a charming old one. I hope they will keep the style! The place is at walking distance from the station, just around the corner form the market place, and well connected to Denmark and the South of Sweden. Still, I want to give some comments: I really liked that WLAN was included with the room. Moreover, there was a small room […] bar, and also a TV. I do not need both. They hotel has a bar, one coudl easily buy a drink there. It is a pity that hiotels are more or less forced to provide these facilities, in order to get a proper rating. The TV screen was huge, and not nice, and the choice of programs very focused on Scandinavian channels - not for me. The bar was not charming, I woudl have prefered an empty space. The breakfast was excellent - large variety of food, and not only wwell presented but as well of high quality. I regretted that I am no breakfast person, my husband would have enjoyed it! we had a great stay in this great hotel and it has a great history. All over you will see picture of famous artist who stayed in the hotel. The stuff is very friendly and it has an free tee and cookie room. Perfect, thx

The Mayfair Hotel Tunneln is a nice hotel, placed just opposite the railway station, and in the old town region. Nice old hotel with athmosphere and charm, but with modern facilities and high standards and services. Is really reccomendable.

The hotel is in a beautiful, older bulding 2 blocks from the central train station. It is an older building, but well-maintained and very nice. My single room was small, but comfortable. Six of us stayed at the Hotel Mayfair Tunnelm for one night in July 2011. We had requested two double rooms for my husband and me and my brother and his wife, and a twin room for our adult son and daughter. We were given three doubles and when we queried this the receptionist was quite dismissive although she condescended to give us a double room which […] had a bed with two mattresses (but one headboard!) that could be split. Our room had a tiny bathroom - my husband, who is over six feet tall but not very wide, had to dry himself in the bedroom after his shower because there was so little room in the bathroom. The bedroom was also very dark as it looked out on to the wall of the building next door. My brother's room was better as was the children's room so I think we just drew the short straw. The breakfast was excellent but none of the staff were particularly friendly. The hotel was very centrally located - close to the station and the main squares of the city. This hotel was a perfect choice. Very close to the train station and ideally situated for exploring the charming city of Malmo. Our room was lovely, the breakfast buffet really good and terrific public sitting areas. Loved the location and the charm of this property. Will definitely recommend.

Myself and a friend travelled to Malmo for 1 night after staying in a 2 star hotel in Copenhagen and we both felt the 2 star was more comfortable. The staff were fantastic but the windows in our room were very dirty and the bed was squeaky and not stuck to the wall properly. My husband and I loved the hotel, the atmosphere was great and everything was surprisingly cheap. The morning breakfast buffet was also excellent. If you are staying over the weekend I would recommend you find local parking as the included parking fee is expensive and quite unnecessary as there is plenty of cheap/free parking spaces locally.

Very interesting, comfortable, old Europe hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very close to train station nad central shopping area. Excellent breakfast, very helpful staff, Internet and wifi available, and lots of history to the hotel.

Great hotel, we loved it. Would do it again anytime :-) Lots of history, in the middle of the action! Very charming place. Beware, no AC (typical for older hotels in this area)

Bekvämt avstånd till affärer och matställen. Inte långt till vattnet. Mysig frukost miljö.

Prisvärt hotell i centrala Malmö. Fanns allt jag önskade men inte något mer än så. Bra frukostbuffé med både varm och kall mat, fast pannkakorna var färdigköpta och kalla. :(

Svårt med parkering. Dyrt i hotellets garage.25% av rumspriset.

+ centralt, lugn gata, trevliga sittrum i entre, trevligt bemötande, bra pris . ++ superb frukost. - smala sängar.

Vi skulle på ett 20-årsjubileuom och ville ta en fördrink i baren. Den var ingen höjdare.Verkligen inte mysigt. Gör om! Resten var perfekt! Vilken frukost. Bokar gärna detta hotell igen.

Meget charmerende hotel 5 min. gang fra Centralstationen og lige rundt om hjørnet fra gågaden. Rigtig hyggelige værelser med god komfort. Vidunderlig morgenmad. Personalet er meget venlige og tager sig altid tid til en lille sludder. Alt i alt var vores ophold et rigtig dejligt afbræk i en travl hverdag, og vi er vendt behageligt forfriskede tilbage […] igen, da dette er vore andet besøg på hotellet. Tak for denne gang. もっと読む

Utroligt hjælpsomt personale og meget centralt, for man går næsten direkte ud på gågaden. Fin morgenmadsbuffet med stort udvalg og fantastiske senge. Bestemt anbefalelsesværdigt!

Mayfair Tunneln er et hotel med en rig historie, specielt interessant for danskere, og historien er anskueliggjort via mange billeder, våbenskjold, beretninger, etc. Samtidig er værelserne bekvemme samtidig med at der er hæget om den gamle stil.

Vi fik et charmerende værelse. Morgenmaden er noget vi sætter pris på, men det var meget skuffende. Blå hårdkogte æg, klasket røræg og halvkold bacon. Ikke i orden til den pris. Øv. Men hotellet er ellers godt.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed. Personalet meget venlige, Parkering lige overfor i parkeringshus. Fantastisk morgenmadsbuffet i den hyggelige kælderrestaurant. Værelset ikke stort, men passende til et kort ophold. Der er meget lydt.

Rummet med 140 cm säng var mysigt med skön atmosfär. Frukostbuffén var välbalanserad med frukt och grönt, lax och bacon! Rekommenderas varmt!
