I've stayed at this hotel twice now and have been very impressed with the whole experience. The location is in a very small town with basically nothing else to offer. It was a desperately needed hotel in the area. It's new and the rooms have a comfortable modern feel. The rooms are small, but very efficient and relaxing. My ONLY cons is the early morning […] parking lot noise can be annoying if you are trying to sleep in later (I would recommend requesting a room on the back side of the hotel). The other is the usual hotel complaint of thin walls. The hotel staff was more than accommodating when I requested a secluded room. The management and desk staff had the utmost professional manners and really gave me a feeling that I wasn't "just another guest". Room was small, but adequate. Room was clean, staff was friendly. Nice Continental breakfast each morning. Was provided a coffee maker upon request. Reasonable rates. Definitely would recommend.

We were impressed some number of years ago with the original concept. Small, modern, no frills, but at the same time nothing essential missing. We were traveling from Ocean Shores to Mt. Rainer and had one night stay at Microtel in Elma. The room was extremely cheap (last minute deal), pet-friendly, staff was very friendly despite the fact the hotel was full. This is one of the best (and cheap) hotel in my experience.

Very good experience, definitely worth the money. Breakfast until time of check-out (11am). Cozy room, quiet. Friendly staff. Very clean hotel. I will stay again if I am in this area again. I slept very well.

Like every Microtel at which I have ever stayed, the Elma Microtel is clean, comfortable, and offers a generous breakfast. The location is convenient to both Olympia and the ocean. Highly recommended.

I had a single queen room, which was cozy but smart in its layout. The room was very new looking and clean. Breakfast was cereal, pastries, hard boiled eggs, and make-your-own waffles for a hot option. Have never stayed at a Microtel before and was very surprised at how clean this motel was. Definitely worth the price paid. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived to the motel early and was able to get an early check in even though we didn't request it in advance. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area :)

The rooms are very noisy. You can hear the neighbors when they are talking to each other or on the phone. Needs more insulation.

Nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into my room. I've stayed in a lot of higher end hotel chains while traveling but rarely one as nice as this. From the window seat overlooking the patio to the fenced dog run to the complimentary breakfast bar, this hotel offers it all and almost for a song. I wish there are more of them around! Really clean comfortable room.

The room was nice and cozy and with friendly service.

The only problem we had at this hotel was at check out when we checked out and asked for a receipt it did not show our credit card number or our address or the rate we were supposed to be charged. When we questioned this we were asked to give a different credit card for payment and we were charged on that card. Highly recommend this motel. We loved our stay and our room was nice and thanks to Hotels.com the price was awesome as well. Will stay there again.

I do not believe I will ever be back to Elma, WA but if I do I will stay here! The staff was great! Both the night staff and morning crew helpful and friendly! Big room and fantastic value for the cost.

I reserved and pre-paid for a non-smoking room. I checked in around 7 PM. I was told at check-in that they have one room left, a handi-cap room, and that it has been non-smoking for three months. I was concerned about a smelly room. The hotel staff did not seem to share my concern. As it turned out, the room did not reek, but it did have a bit of a […] funny smell. Handi-cap rooms have their pluses and minuses; extra space for sure, but zero counterspace in the bathroom to put your stuff. A regular non-smoking room would have made this a pleasant stay. Very friendly staff. We asked about the next room's dog barking when we checked in. We were immediately given a different room away from the barking dog.

I loved how clean it was. The bathroom was spacious and i was surprised how big the mini fridge was. Also Elma is a small town so it was easy to find a store or a place to eat. We were extremely pleased with our stay. You won't find a nicer place to stay between Olympia and Ocean Shores. Property is new and the rooms are very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we have to travel again to Montesano to visit family.

We got a room with 2 queen size beds that each had 4 very big comfortable pillows. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very very quiet and clean. The breakfast available is waffles and cereal okay.
