グレンフェリー ロッジ (Glenferrie Lodge)格安予約

3日間シングルで滞在しましたが、ベットと机のみの狭い部屋で、タオル、シーツは3日間交換なしでした。シャワー室には、小さな虫が数匹常に飛びまわっており、棚もなく便座の上にタオルなどを置かざるを得ませんでした。 交通は、フェリーを使えばサーキュラーキーからも便利です。ただ、夜には、本数がかなり減ります。ミルソンズポイント駅からの道は真っ暗でよく迷いました。 　朝ご飯は普通に、コーヒー、オレンジジュース、卵料理を取ることができました。 　シドニーは物価が高いので、この値段でこのレベルで仕方ないのかもしれません。 　私ひとりの出張でホテル代を節約するならまた使用するかもしれませんが、家族旅行ではまず選択肢には入りません。

部屋にトイレやシャワーがついていないのですが、朝ごはんつきですしロケーションもキルビルという面白い場所にあるので1，2泊程度にお勧めです。（私たちはフェリーで行きました） 実際の旅行客は白人の老夫婦なども多かったです。

朝食付きでこのお値段！、バス、トイレ共同という部分もありますが子Ｘ３連れでも全然大丈夫でした。総督や首相のシドニーでの滞在所が通りの突き当りにあり、２４時間連邦警察がいるので治安も抜群！交通の便も悪くなく、築１１０年以上のクラッシクなとても静かな良いホテルだと思います。

一部の従業員は客を尊重しているとは言い難い。エアコンなし、シャワー共同に注意。シャワールームの隣の部屋は水の流れがとてもうるさい。また夜から早朝は受付いなくなり不便。夜中に鍵をなくした客が大騒ぎしていてうるさかった。またコインランドリーは服が汚れる。かなりけちけちして設備や人件費を究極に削っている感じ。また橋を渡ったところなので鉄道が土日たまに止まって中心部へ出にくいことも知っおくべき。早く着いても荷物すら預かってくれず預かりロッカーが有料。とにかくけち臭い印象。立地が良いのに残念だ。

設備や朝食は満足でしたが、レセプションの中年男性が最初は親切でいい人と思ったのですが、ちょっと怖かったです。サービスが行き届いているのはいいことですが、サービス過剰なところがありました。お酒があまり飲めない体質なのにワインを一杯勧めてきて、最後まで飲めとか言われたり、部屋にいてノックを無視していたらスペアキーでドアを開けてきてとても怖かった。体調が悪いので一人にしてくださいと英語で書いた紙をドアに貼り付けたら、ようやくおさまりました。家族連れやカップル、男性のみの旅行者には勧めますが、女性のみの旅行者にはあまりおススメできません。また、駅から若干離れているので、夜は道が暗くなり迷子になりました。

We were very satisfied with the location of your hotel. In addition we were lucky with the weather as well, so we spent all day exploring Sydney. Generally very good impressions and memories from this trip.

I usually put up with a lot, but am writing this because the staff had such an attitude. On Thursday 19 April I awoke to find a couple hundred ants in the room, on the wall by the window, which was near the head of the bed. I asked them to kill the ants. When I returned at 11pm there were thousands of them. The reception closed at 10pm so I woke the […] guy up. He argued variously that it was near a tree so you should expect ants, it's not an emergency, he didn't get paid for after hours calls, and it wasn't his fault that the ants weren't killed during the day. This upset me so I told him my mind on the responsibility of running a hotel. Then he found another room and said I must request and not order him for the new room. All he had to do was switch the room but he wanted to argue and complain before even checking if a room was available. Even then he wanted a request from me rather than a demand. WE WHERE VERY HAPPY WITH EVERY THING EXCEPT THERE IS KNOW WHERE TO PARK THE CAR WE HAD TO WALK ALONG WAY.FROM PARKING THE CAR TO GETTING TO THE HOTEL (BIG PROBLEM)

Breakfast out on the lawn on a nice morning is the greatest way to start the day.

We were there for 7 days. As noted, the rooms are very small. No air conditioning could be a real problem on really hot days. During our moderate terperatures, we needed the ceiling fan all the time and the window open to move air. Beds were comfortable. Bedding isn't changed or serviced in any way until the 5th day. Trash is emptied daily. The shared […] baths were cleaned well every morning. Seemed to be plenty of hot water. The few room TV satellite channels were sensitive. There were more channels on the community TV, but some people camped out in front of it so not a real option if you wanted to watch something specific in the evening. The included breakfast was very good, hot, and replenished routinely. There was a bit of an ant problem by the juice station. This place is across the harbour from the Opera House in a nice tree-lined neighborhood. We enjoyed the daily to/from ferry ride. The ferries are great and like clock-work about every 30 minutes. We loved being on the water. The neighborhood is nice with amazing views. The restaurants and stores are about a 15 minute walk away. We saw wild cockatoos. This hotel is in a nice location and close to the ferry. Room was not all that clean and bed okay for comfort. Nice assortment for breakfast and good times for that being open. No elevator so don't have a heavy suitecase! Staff was nice and helpful.

The hotel is very closed to Sydney Opera House and surrounding environment is perfect.

We were happy with the majority of the hotel experience. tWe had requested 2 beds and received a double and a roll away, the room is too small for a rollaway...... Our tv, didn't work, not that we were there to watch tv, but when we requested it fixed it never was.

there were spiders in my room in different daytime during my staying there, I can't sleep well at night because I have to watch four walls if there is any others. I took photos. While I asked the reception to get rid of it, their took slow action. There is no air-condition in room.

My daughter and I now love the North shore and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Aisher was there to greet us morning and night and we had some very late ones and some very early ones. The location of this Hostel is really great, and overall not too bad, breakfast spread is really great also, however there were cockroaches around, the mattress had bedwetting cover which made it sweaty, & the shared bathrooms - not good - out of 3 showers 1 kept overflowing, 1 light was broken so could only use during day, that left 1 good one - which […] obviously everyone used - Bathrooms could definitely use improvement. Pleasant informal guest house with good complimentary breakfast. Located in a very quiet neighborhood a 15 minute walk from Intercity train stop and decent restaurants, and a 5 minute walk from passenger ferry slip. Communal toilets and showers were clean, although a few shower drains were stopped up. Great location with plenty of good public transportation (bus, train and ferry). Excellent and filling hot breakfast buffet.

A picturesque location is this hotel's main attribute. Also the historic nature of the old home adds to its attraction for those of us who enjoy 'old time' experiences. The room was fine, the location is great, the staff were pretty good - helpful mostly. The shared bathrooms were not great, we had to ask for the showers to be cleaned. An awesome place for backpackers! It's just a hop away from the city centre. We enjoyed our stay here.

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere a little cheaper in a great location. It's not going to blow your mind with the rooms, they're basic. hotel conditions were very basis buy if you were prepared to accept this it representd good value for money

paid for 3 nights stayed 1. Stayed here around 7 years ago and was happy to return,however was very let down. Twin room was tiny...no were for suitcases and less than a foot space from bed to wall for walking around. The night way stayed around 1.30am there was a drunk banging and shouting rude lanuage trying to gey in to building(no staff after 10.30pm) […] he was banging for over an hour before it went quite. Then again at 5am the kitchen staff below our room were banging pots and pans as though they were in a brass band. As my room (30) was directly above. Not Just the kitchen but walking and singing in and outside the building (indian). We were so tired we missed out on the breakfast. At 12 the next day we checked out 2 days early depite paying upfront... we did not want to ruin our last few days of our hoilday and needed a good sleep for our 26 hour journey home. The only staff whom were genuine and spoke were the eastern european cleaners.... reception staff seemed to act as though guests were a burden... especially when interupted while in the internet at reception.... i watched the guy at pm shift while dealing with a lady checking in... she waited a good 20 seconds before he looked or acknlowlged her as he was intreged by youtube???? Great place to stay on bus route.

When your neighbor is the Prime Minister's Sydney compound, and you're steps from sharing the same spectacular harbor view that she has, you feel pretty clever for finding such a bargain. if you arrive with a rental car it can be expensive because they hotel has no car park. You can park your car on the street in front of the hotel only for 2 hours on weekdays. So the only possibility is to park in the LUNA PARK car park for 32 Dollar per day which is very much if you plan a loingterm stay at Glenferie lodge. I think this was a satisfactory hotel for it's value, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect as it was close to public transport. I was a little concerned about safety (especially for a solo traveller) as there was no way to look the door from the inside - even though it wasn't possible to get into the room […] without a key as there was no way you could physically turn the knob. LOVED the breakfast - make sure you wake up for it! The room with the balcony was nice - could just see the water which was really cool. The shared bathrooms were alright and the bed was pretty comfy so overall very pleased with the place.

The hotel was cold and dirty. Also no possibility to store luggage after checking out. Need to share shower and toilet with 3 others. Keep in mind this is on the other side of the Harbour bridge, so there were will be extra costs to travel on the ferry (which runs pretty often).

Location is good. Breakfast is good. Taxi calling direct line is good. However, all the other stuff, is not good.

I love the location of this hotel. The breakfast is fantastic but it ended there for me. I had stayed here a few years ago and was quite happy with everything but times have changed. The single room I stayed in was dirty and damp. Spider webs were all on the wall. The floor was cement with only a small dirty mat on the floor. There was only a single […] sheet on the bed and then a bed cover/blanket. No sheet between you and the used blanket. The shared bathroom/shower was very, very small and always wet. If you stay here use the larger shared showers and bathrooms on the main floor of the hotel - those are fine. The Glenferrie Lodge is located on the opposite site of the river, wich is nice because is is a quiet neighbourhood. The ferrie is very close and the ride is very nice, going past the harbour bridge and the opera house. Very good value for money. Close to Harbour Bridge and only 3 min walk to nice ferry tour to Circular Quay. Negative: Noise from the refridgerator in the room - I turned it off when sleeping.

What a treat! Cozy, Victorian gem of a surprise. Harbor views and ferries around Sydney Harbor. Definitely a relaxing, convenient place !

For the price, I was really pleasantly surprised. The location is spectacular. The breakfast was good in a really relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be staying there again. The only downside for me was a shared bathroom, but again for the price, it is what you'd expect. Karin..
