Hotel staff was friendly. The small garden and heated pool overlooking the water were nice. The hotel even had kayaks for guests to use. We are seasoned canoers but had never tried kayak before. So to be able to kayak in the ocean water but yet stayed within this little cove and explore the small mangroves in the area was extremely memorable.

Good value in its price range. We loved the free kayaks and enjoyed the jacuzzi. Room was fine as was the view. We also liked the nice friendly restaurant next door.

Hotel is centrally located to Florida Key interests. Smaller hotel with nice ammenities. Beautiful little cove with great restaurant nearby. Suites were a little small for four adults, but adequate for a short stay. Very pleasant stay overall!

The Dove Creek Hotel was phenomenal. The first thing they did is upgrade my room for free. Apparently the staff would rather have a better room used than sitting empty even if it takes more work to clean on their part. The entire place was gorgeous and immaculate. Our room was located on the third floor abovew the lobby and that elevator closes daily at 7:00 PM. The other rooms (which had enclosed balconies and we did not) were located in another section and had two floors. Their elevator never closed down. The TV in our bedroom was not getting a signal. We asked about it at the lobby before we left to go out […] about 5:00 PM. We were just given directions on which channels to make sure the TV as set on. After we left, the hotel attendant went in the room to deliver pool towels and shut the TV off but never helped to set the TV to work. When we returened after dinner, we tried again for awhile to get the TV working and then called and even went down to the lobby but it closed at 7:00 PM. We had no one to ask for help. Finally, we saw that the cable cord was unplugged after pulling the TV out. In the AM, my husband went down for the continental breaksfast at 9:20 AM and saw the hotel attendant giving another woman a plate of keylime tarts and fruit. He asked if he could get some and the reply was that there was none left. He went back downstairs later to say something about this to the woman and then she got some fruit for him. My husband & I went to Dove Creek for our anniversary, and we were extremely happy with our hotel choice! The buildings look brand new, and the rooms are very clean with that "Keys" feeling. We had a great stay if you take the weather out of the equation. (It rained for most of our stay - that's what we get for attending a wedding in the rainy season) Great room, great staff - very pleasant, and great location! We had a great ocean view from our patio. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

This was a very nice hotel in a nice location. It is right by a restaurant on the water and has free kayaks for you to take out. I loved the hammocks!! It also has a nice pool. I was very happy with our stay! Our rooms were nice and clean, which is important to me.

we had booked this room for our last night in the keys. due to hurrican irene heading towards our home town we had to change our flight home for an earlier time-which really cut in to our time in key largo. we were a little confused when we first pulled in. it looked deserted. after we figured out where to check in and we saw our room we felt much better. […] our room was nice and i liked the balcony view of the marina. we relaxed in the covered swing and read during the afternoon hours. even the showers caused by hurricane irene passing by didn't bother us in the covered double swing! the restaurant next door came alive that night with a live band playing mostly jimmy buffett music. an easy walk next door but we chose to sit on our balcony and enjoy the music with a couple of drinks. after the fast paced week in key west, this hotel was a wonderful way to wind down and just enjoy some relaxation. i enjoyed our stay here. もっと読む

This hotel has much more than I expected. Almost new charming rooms and relaxed setting with free breakfast, an onsite restaurant and outdoor bar with live entertainment around a small marina, outdoor seating areas and covered parking. What more can you ask.

Everyone we were in contact with was so helpful and nice. The location is so beautiful! We never dreamed it would be as nice as nice as it was. They made this our best vacation ever. We would come back and stay here in a minute.

First time staying in the Florida Keys and this hotel was very nice compared to may that we drove by. Very clean and well kept. The Snappers Restaurant next to the hotel was excellent and very convenient to walk to. The only drawback was that the hotel staff was only available from 7am to 7pm.

Overnattet her på vår vei til Key West. Trivelig sted med nydelig utsikt. OK frokost og en veldig bra restaurant på bryggekanten like ved hotellet. Fint rom. Grei parkering under hotellbygningen. Hvis du trenger å gjøre innkjøp av noe slag, må du i bil og kjøre en liten tur. samme hvis du vil nyte strandlivet.
