A very nice hotel : clean , comfortable, and reasonably priced with a substantial buffet breakfast . It is very convenient for two of the major archaeological sites and for the metro. It is also close to lots of good eateries and the flea market streets nearby were very interesting.

The Jason Inn is well located, in the center of Athens, and close to the metro. The room that we stayed in was one floor above the street in front, and was very noisy, as the Greeks have an aversion to mufflers on their mopeds. Even my earplugs could not drown out the noise. Very enjoyable indeed for the price. The location is ideal: near Monastariki. The room was spacious for three and WiFi was complimentary.

stayed Aug, 15 to 28th. Hotel serves very good breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon cheese & etc. Computer in lobby, Free internet. The hotel was located in a very good location for us. hotel was easy to get to from Pireaus port by metero. From the cruise docking area we got on the free pier shuttle and the shuttle bus driver dropped us off at the Pireaus […] metro station. He made a special stop at the pireaus metro staion to drop us off. Thission Metro station is very short distance from the hotel. Ignore the grafiti, it is all over Athens. Anyone over the age of 65 can use the metro for Half the regular price. Use the machine to buy the ticket or buy at the window. Must tell them over 65 at the window. From the hotel it was easy to get to Acropolis, except it is up hill on the pedestrian walk way. There are very nice restaurants near the hotel. The walk way around the Acropolis is very lively place at night. Cafe & restaurants are full of peple, young, old couples & single young & old men & women. also just taking a walk at night. From the hotel, it was an easy to walk to the major squares, Syntagma, Monastiraki & Onomia. Go see Dora Stratou Dances by Acropolis walk way. It is easy to get to from the hotel. The hotel Jason Inn is a hotel that is just OK considering the cost but has SERIOUSLY the BEST view of the Parthenon ever. Frankly, it was almost worth it just for the view. Now for the particulars: Positives: 1. Seriously stuffing view from the rooftop restaurant. 2. Close to the Thissio metro stop. REALLY close 3. Clean though generic lobby 4. Helpful […] front desk staff -- though we didn't ask them anything too taxing, so don't know what would happen HAD there been issues or special requests (besides getting a taxi to go to the airport). 5. Nice little balcony...but just overlooked a busy street -- still it's always nice to have a little outdoor space -- makes the small room feel bigger. 6. For this class of hotel, the breakfast was nicer than the other ones we had in Greece....or at least a slightly bigger selection/quality. Dinner options were nothing to write home about. We never ended up eating dinner there because of it. Other / Cons 1. Rooms were really small with not a lot of horizontal surfaces (i.e where to put the luggage). 2. Kind of musty until the air conditioner was turned on. 3. Seriously hard mattress. I happen to like a hard matress, but if you're expecting luxury beds and linens, definitely go somewhere else. These are passable. 4. Bed is really close to the floor. Like the height of a low riding futon close to the floor. Not a huge deal at the end of the day, but a little low end feeling. 5. I can't begin to understand why someone would install a shower curtain that was JUST short enough to let all the water escape from the shower. Seriously, another 2 inches and I wouldn't have constantly been pushing water down the drain outside the shower. And if that's the intent...then just don't install a shower curtain to begin with. Fighting a losing fight with it was just annoying. Did I mention how AWESOME the view was from the rooftop restaurant? The location is a bit scary when you first get there but once you get to know the area, it is pretty close to the Acropolis (but I would prefer to be closer so I don't need to walk down the seedy streets in the evening). When we first arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman (don't know his name) who was informative and kind. But when we checked out, […] that was a different story--it was another man who was rude, unhelpful, and was more interested in watching his tv than helping his guests. We wanted to quickly use the internet to check the weather at our next destination to see how we should pack and he wouldn't let us. Very convenient location right in the heart of the city and only a hundred metres from Thissio metro station. Hotel is a little dated but excellent value for money considering where it is positioned. This hotel is within a short walk to the Placa and restaurants. On Sunday there was a large number of vendors selling crafts and Jewelry.

Front desk staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious with a great selection and ample quantities of food. Hotel was close to the metro for acess to the airport and also to another station to the port for ferries so ideal for a stopover. Close to tourist shops, restaurants and view of the Acropolis. The Location is great if your looking for old Greece. We loved it, but the staff could have been nicer. Breakfast was good.

The Jason Inn proved to be a good value with a great location for visiting the sights to see in Athens. It was only 2 blocks to the subway system and three or four blocks to many restaurants and small shops. Hotel had a rooftop garden restaurant with a wonderful view of Athens and the Acropolis. A very elaborate breakfast buffet served on the rooftop […] was free with the room. Menu for dinner in the same restaurant was limited but food was good and prices reasonable. Room was small but comfortable with good storage for clothes and a safe. Bathroom (hand shower only) was adequate but may bother Americans accustomed to full baths. Desk clerk was friendly and efficient - multilingual with good English. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied and recommend the Jason Inn to anyone not seeking a luxury hotel. もっと読む

I love this hotel for its great location and amazing rooftop terrace with view on the Acropolis and Lycavitous hill!

The hotel was simple and the room small, but the front desk personel were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood didn't look great, but that is the way Athens downtown looks like. Two short blocks from the hotel starts the most popular area of Athens, Plaka which is safe and full of shops with souvenirs and goods. Hotel Jason Inn was a huge disappointment. We stayed here for three nights and EVERY concierge was extremely rude and acted put out whenever we asked for any information on getting around Athens. The rooms were gross as was the neighborhood and breakfast DO NOT STAY HERE!

Хороший отель в плане месторасположения. Рядом с метро, да и пешком можно добраться до самых интересных мест. Номера маленькие, но чистые. Для того, чтобы просто переночевать - вполне подходящий вариант. Отель стоит прямо на улице, но движение не очень интенсивное. К тому же, номера оборудованы стеклопакетами. Вечером вполне тихо. Кондиционер работал […] хорошо. Очень хорошее кафе на крыше, с видом на Акрополь. Там проходят завтраки, но можно и поужинать в очень приятной атмосфере. Прибыванием остались довольны. situé a deux pas de l'arret de metro du thissio et a coté de monastiraki cet hotel est parfait pour visiter le centre ville

Greit hotell i Athen til en rimelig penge. Gåavstand til både Akropolis og restauranter. Flott takterasse hvor det er hyggelig både å spise frokost og ta et glass vin om kvelden.

Läget är mycket bra med närhet till t-bana, och det gamla antika Aten. Gott om matställen i området. Tyvärr en hel del förfallna hus och mycket väggkludd i närheten. Frukostrestaurangen på taket var toppfin med utsikt över Akropolis.

Den ene områdrt rundt hotellet er ikke bra og anbefales ikke. Men området fra Thessoin metrostasjon og videre gjennom Monasteraki og opp gjennom shopping eldoradoet Emrou street er fantastisk. Det gjøres mye i dette området og det begynner å bli veldig bra. Gå avstand fra hotellet til alt.

Stupendous view from the rooftop terrace over the Acropolis rock and temples from a distance; over rated hotel from the seventies; a bit off side track in a run down quarter. Indifferent reception.

cet hôtel est à la fois très proche du métro et légèrement à l'écart des rues touristiques.

Perfekt beliggenhet i Athen for sightseeing!! Billig hotell, grei standard, fantastisk utsikt fra takterasse med frokostbuffet!!! Verdt pengene!! Betjeningen var helt ok, hjalp oss med det vi lurte på! :) Vi hadde bodd der igjen hvis vi drar tilbake til athen!

Hotellet ligger i ett lite tråkigt område.. Det ligger dock nära alla sevärdheter som Akropolis, Anchient Agora, retsauranger mm. Hotellet är lite slitet men i vårt rum var det nya sängar och möbler. Gammal heltäckningsmatta. Det bästa med hotellet är takterassen där frukostbuffen serveras och man kan äta på kvällen. Terassen har en fantastisk utsikt […] över Akropolisklippan och Aten. Hotellet är absolut mycket prisvärt. Bra frukostbufé och rena rum. Utsikten från hotelets takterass där frukost och och middag/drinkar serveras är bara den värd ett besök om man inte bor på hotellet. Hotellet ligger nära gamla stan och det är nära till många av stans sevärdigheter. Kan absolut rekomenderas

Beliggenhet i forhold til Akropolis var god. Dårlig strøk, men etter 2 minutters gange er en inne i finere strøk. Veldig harde senger og lite servicevennlig i resepsjon trakk ned på dette oppholdet. Frokostsalen på toppen av hotellet med fin utsikt var et stort pluss. Frokost helt ok.

Lite slitet område men nära till allt, Akropolis, butiker, resturanger e.t.c.

It's in the middle of City centre 5 min walk from the Thission Metro station - which takes you to Piraerus where you can go by ferry to all the islands - if you're here for a short time only I recommend the island of Aegina. It's just one hour journey and you buy tickets in Piraerus Port where there are lots of ferries departing throughout the day. […] It's a nice relaxing experience very different from Athens. Also 5 min walk from the hotel you have plenty of shopping and lots of great restaurants in Plaka and Monastiraki (from where you can go to the Airport or perhaps the southern coast of Athens - half an hour on the Tram - where you can get excellent food while watching the sunset). Besides it's 15 min walk to the Acropolis. You'll get a map at the front desk but it's very easy to find your way around. Regarding the Jason Inn you shouldn't expect luxury at all. There's a lot of noise comming from the street and we had two singlebeds instead of a double. However there are aircondition in the rooms and you'll get a nice breakfast on the top floor of the building with a fantastic view of the Acropolis and part of the city. The area next to the hotel looks like the rest of Athens. A lot of dirt and garbage but it's quite safe to walk at night. Hôtel situé dans un quartier tranquille, mais à proximité du métro Thissio et des principaux sites touristiques de la ville. Chambre relativement grande avec vue sur l'acropole depuis certaines fenêtres. Petit-déjeuner pris sur le toit de l'hôtel et vue imprenable sur l'Acropole et la ville.

Trivsamt hotell med fantastisk utsikt från balkonger och takterass, där man serverade en jättebra frukost. Nära till tunnelbana( Thissio) och med ett par minuters gångväg till gamla stan (Plaka och Monastiraki) med shopping och restauranger.

hotel calme. Bien situé pour profiter du quartier animé de Spiri à 5mn de marche. Metro monastiraki à 10 mn à pied.
