stayed during the lone star bike rally. No complaints. Clean room good price. Walked to boardwalk. I'd stay again.

No continental breakfast as advertised

The hotel claimed to have continental breakfast. However, when we went down to the lobby, their continental breakfast consisted of stale cereal. And, the coffee was terrible.

We got the room for a good price. It had dirty towels in bathroom and hanging on the rack near the ironboard , wet ones that is. the room smelled damp. There was also a 2 1/2 in gap at the bottom of the exit door. So it stayed to warm . And the management was almost rude.

My family enjoyed our stay it was a great bargain, just a little way from the boardwalk, friendly service and a pull out couch for the kiddos.

For the price i paid for this stay, is not worth it. Cleaning staff only left a small bottle of shampoo but no conditioner, the breakfast included corn flake, fruit loops, milk, small muffins, the coffee was so weak.

The room was clean and comfortable. Had some trouble with the TV and had to ask for towels. We had 4 people and they gave us 3 towels.

it was ok i was not expecting more for the rate. if you want a cheap one and a good one l would recomend you this one

THE HOTEL WAS FINE JUST THAT I WAS PUT BY THE VENDING MACHINE AND ICE MAKER..AND ALL I HEARD WAS THE ICE MAKER GO OFF ALL NIGHT..BUT THE PRICE WAS RIGHT ..

We decided to stay in a King bed smoking room (even though we're not smokers) because it was a little bit cheaper than the non-smoking rooms. You could smell cigarettes when you first walked in, but after a few minutes I didn't even notice it. We had a couch that had a pull out bed, a mini fridge and microwave. The room was clean. The hair dryer didn't work in my room. The solution the office offered was for me to go into another room and use the hair dryer. I agreed to try this solution, even though, I was unhappy about it, because I was in my PJ's. Guess what? That hair dryer didn't work either! I wouldn't recommend this hotel! Plus, NO Pool!

This hotel was the worst. From the manager calling me in the middle of the night to "align" my car better in its parking space (the right rear tire was on the line) to the cockaroach in my room. My daughter didn't like that one too much. Oh and my key cards were turned off before 10am even though check out was at 11am. The staff was nice. Rooms very clean and somewhat comfortable. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but can't complain due to price. Will stay again.

The hotel was clean and the price was with in my range. The only thing was that it did not have a pool. My husband and I were able to walk to the boardwalk which we injoyed. We did not have to waste time and gas looking for a parking space. The service and cleanliness were great but I had some issues. 1. not within walking distance from the boardwark as stated. 2. the a/c was not very strong. 3. the mattress was very uncomfortable - you could feel the springs in many places.

the rooms were clean and neat . i thought it was closer to the boardwalk though. the staff could have been friendlier but they were not rude at all. it is a good value for the money you pay

we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, not only was it close to the boardwalk, but the staff was very nice and very accommodating. The room is a cheap room, The service is barely better than rude! They seem to have an attitude toward Americans? We attended the Lone Star Motorcycle Rally in Galveston and stayed at this Days Inn. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was concerned BUT everything was clean and exactly what we requested. Plenty of towels and supplies and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a real bargain for the price and I would definitely stay there again.

We used this Days Inn in Kemah as we were attending the Lone Star Bike Rally in Galveston, Texas. We were able to park our bike right outside the hotel room which gave my husband some pease of mind. Other people with bikes also used this hotel for their stay and as far as I could tell no one had any complaints about the hotel. I saw on several occassions […] the manager walking around looking at the bikes in the parking lot. The room was very clean, and well maintained, the staff was very friendly. It was close to the Boardwalk. and easy to find when we got into town. over all I will stay there again. Great price.

Nothing fancy, but very comfortable.

Easy to get to, about a mile from the Boardwalk District ($6.00 cab ride) and rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Would definately stay hear again. Did not experience the "rude staff/management" I saw in the reviews.

When checking into the room the bed sheets were soiled along with the second set that was sent to the room. At that point we purchased our own sheets from the local Wal-Mart.We also purchased cleaning solutions to make the room have a pleasant smelling fragrance. I know after reading this you are wondering why on earth would you stay. We were told they no other rooms and the other hotels in the area were booked up. When asking for mangement we were told they didn't have any phone numbers to reach him. They wouldn't even consider any compensation for the misable stay at this location. We stayed 2 nights just to get away and go to restaurants and bars. We live in Galveston and smoking is not allowed and as I smoke, Kemah is very smoker friendly. We don't drink and drive so this Days Inn was a good location for us. Less than a mile from many bars and restaurants, so a nice safe walk. Cheapest hotel within miles. Conveniant to Deer Park. Close to boardwalk and nightlife. Clean. Only complaint would be office has funny smell - but you won't be spending much time in there. Don't count on a real breakfast but at this price who cares.

The hotel was close to the Boardwalk and nice restaurants. The room was very comfortable and was in a safe looking area. Thanks for an enjoyable getaway.

Had a very good stay. The hotel was clean and quiet. It had the amenities we needed. It was very close to Kehma. The check-in was easy, no problems. The gentleman had everything ready at check-in. Had a great exercise room. Vending and Ice machine worked. Didn't have to ask the office for anything. Would stay there again, no problem.

The lady at the front desk insisted that the card we used to book our hotel was different from the card we were showing her. She was not going to let us check in. I showed her my confirmation (which I printed before I left home) which shows the last four digits of the card, and sure enough, it matched the card I was holding in my hand! Location is perfect for us BUT the hospitality was lacking. If you like breakfast that is vending machine quality - then this will make you happy! If you want maid service then you'd better not leave your tag on the door!

The hotel was in a great location to Kemah TX Boardwalk and tourist spot. The room was very clean and hotel seemed very new. The only thing NO POOL! In the morning we went for coffe and breakfast at 1020am and advised only coffee after 10am. I saw the cereal machine and asked for milk however desk clerk said "no closed and no more" . the Hotel was clean, bed was very uncomfortable. The attendent at check in was rude both times we had contact with him. Me and a freind came up in seperate cars and met up with an old freind of hers that lives in Kemah. We were told at check in that if they got full we would have to move one of our cars that they only allowed one car per room. As soon […] as we got in our room the phone rang and he informed us that there was a higher cost for her freind being there. I explained he was helping with luggage and he wasn't staying there. My freind and her freind was out until 5a.m. so neither stayed there with me. When we went to check out we were told there was a extra fee because he was there with us. Her freind paid the fee instead of arguing with the guy. I was the only one that stayed in the room but yet we were charged for three, the reservation was for two.
