helpful and friendly staff, food very good

Comfortably hotel in a good location, helpful staff and the Pizza is to be recommended. Some maintenance required in the room but no big issue. The major drawback is the limited parking. Good 2 day stay and would use the hotel again.

The hotel staff were most helpful. We had breakfast included in the room rate - this was excellent. We also decided to have dinner in the evening. Sadly, the menu was limited as they had a large function booked in the hotel on that weekend - this function also meant that the staff were somewhat under pressure during the evening. Nevertheless, the meal […] was well presented and enjoyable. Parking was a big issue and we ended up having to park our car on a neighbouring street. Overall cleanliness was extremely good. If you're venturing to Blackpool in the near future be warned - there are major renovations going on to the seafront and whilst we knew that the hotel was some way off from the main 'goings on' the lack of tram facilities, ie non-operational, meant a taxi was the only feasible option, unless you fancied a very, very long trek. Great place to stay. situated in quiet area just south of pleasure beach. Great service, spotlessly clean, comfy well furnished room and good breakfast. Couldn't fault it!!!

The hotel is extremely well located for the main amenities of Blackpool yet in a fairly quiet area on the South Shore. The interior of the hotel was well decorated and the room was well equipped with plenty of storage. Breakfast time was a bit crowded but we were shown to a table very quickly. I found the staff were quite miserable. We booked a double room and got a twin room,the room was also really hot and the heating was not on. The view we got was of a lower roof and another hotel quite close. The breakfast was cold although the food bought out was in hot trays.

This hotel in on the south shore a good 10 - 15 mins walk from the pleasure beach, on the good side it is quiet, on the bad side (for the time we went) Blackpool are doing work on the prom. This is pretty much from the north to the south, so only the buses are running this far down. The taxi cost about seven pound to get to the tower. The car park was a little disappointing, I thought it would be bigger, there is car parking out at the front on first come first serve and a little one round the back, that been said we arrived at half two and parked easily round the back, if we had been staying longer we could have move it round the front later. For those of you coming back after midnight there is food still been served in the bar area. Arrived at the hotel to check in... Staff were not that friendly, but I suspect it was because they were tired. Once we got inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was small, but it was clean and the bathroom was spotless.
