Great hotel staff....room lighting poor...all else A-ONE

Hotel- good location across from Polaris -The only negative was the beds. Even with the adjustable setting (which we didn't know about till the second night), The beds , no matter the setting, seemed to sag in the middle. almost like sleeping in a hammock. the head of the bed seemed lower than the foot, it was more comfortable to sleep at the foot end […] of the bed. Greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. went to our room and there was a loud party in the room next door so we didn't even go into that room. staff was quick and very understanding about finding us another room. when we walked in to the new room, the room was hot and muggy. The thermostat on the wall lit up but any changes to the settings did nothing!! […] I had to explore the AC unit to find the cover for the controls. there were two dials on the controls but no markings or instructions...so through 15 minutes of trial and error, finally managed to guess at the settings to turn on the air conditioner (and not the heat). Then dealt with 15 mnutes of stale smelling air coming out of the unit. Throughout the hotel were advertisements of beds that you "dial in" the softness of the bed, even in the room itself had instructions on how to use these beds, but disappointingly, our beds did not have such a features, which makes me wonder why they would tease us with ammenities that weren't available. At this point we were so tired that we just tried to go to sleep, expect for the 10 to 15 teenaged kids running around and playing in the hallway keeping us up. I had to step out and kindly ask them to be quiet. We used the pool the next morning, we had to ask the staff to stock towels as there were none on the shelf. There was also popcorn crumbs and waste paper all over the floor of the pool. the pool itself was clean but the area around it was a mess. The location, atmosphere and room cleanliness were all fine; however, the maid staff waking you up at 10am to see if you are gone is ridiculous. We were still sleeping and the maid knocked on our door numerous times over a 10 minute span... and then when we finally woke up enough to walk towards the door, she attempted to walk right in! The check-in process went smoothly. The room was very nice and comfortable. The hotel is across the street from Polaris mall and in walking distance to restaurants and other stores. I was only in town for one night so I didn't spend much time in the room, but I would stay here again.

hAD AGREAT TIME. rELAXING AFTER A DAY OF SHOPING AND DINING AT POLARIS MALL. HAD SNACKS AND WINE AS WE WATCHED A MOVIE IN OUR ROOM INSTEAD OF HAVING TO GO OUT. PERFECT! STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND ROOM WAS GREAT!

The hotel was perfect for a weekend away. You don't need to leave the hotel but should you coose to, there is so much to do around the area and with free shuttle service, you don't need to worry about being unfamiliar with the area. The wirlpool tub in our room was the perfect way to end the evening and the bed was so comfortable and the hotel so quiet […] even though they were filled up, You had no problem getting a great nights sleep. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. We could not have spent it in a better hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and our suite was amazing! I loved the fact that we not only had a refrigerator in our room, but also a microwave too. The King bed had a feature that enabled you to choose the firmness of the mattress on each side […] of the bed. It was the most comfortable mattress either of us have ever slept on. The Jacuzzi tub was oversized and deeper than I expected. I literally sank into it, almost completely submerging myself, which was incredible. There is definitely enough room to fit two people comfortably. We left the hotel after two nights feeling completely relaxed. This hotel was one of the nicest I have stayed at. We visit Columbus pretty frequently and usually stay at Easton or in the Arena District.. However, we will choose the Hilton Garden Inn at Polaris from now on. It is worth driving the twenty minutes to downtown to stay at what I think must be one of the best hotels in the city. もっと読む

This is by far the best stay I have had in a hotel period. The staff was great, location was great, the room was awesome. This was definitely a five star experience.

We had a wonderful stay. Employees were very friendly. Close to everthing.

Sink would not drain. One call and it was fixed within minutes. Great Breakfast. Would stay again 100%.

This was the second time my husband and I stayed in the whirlpool suite at the Hilton Garden Inn Polaris. We will definitely be back! It is a great place for a romantic getaway weekend. The room was very comfortable and service was excellent. Check in/out was hassle free and quick. Love this hotel!

Hotel stay was fine except for bedding. Only options for covers were a comforter which was too warm , or a sheet which was not enough. Sheets on bed were not comfortably arranged. Otherwise the hotel was OK.

I feel that the price for the hotel was a little overinflated for a facility that doesn't even have a mini-bar or the newest decor; the jacuzzi and a little extra room was not really worth the above the normal garden hotel charge.There was a very old looking, ugly couch in the sitting area. Our room and the whole hotel were very clean, staff was friendly, and everything was as expected except.... there was no way to get a comfortable temperature in the room. Turn the thermostat down 1 degree and the room was a meat locker. Turn it up 1 degree and the room was a sauna. Very clean, comfortable, quiet room. I never heard any noise in the hallway or from nearby rooms, and it was a Saturday night and they seemed very busy! Great location for shopping and dining. All staff were very nice. I will definately stay again!

This hotel is in a perfect location in north Columbus. Right off of 71 North and surrounded by great restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom and linens were very clean. My package included a breakfast each morning for 4 people and this was no […] ordinary continental breakfast...cooked to order omelets, fresh fruit, etc. That was a pleasant surprise the first morning. The staff probably could use a little more help in the kitchen but overall it was a great experience.
